Fantastic place friendly staff and amazing food

Fantastic food and service. The food is made tp order. The breakfasts are amaxing. Staff are brilliant and very friendly.

Stopped in as I was in the area (and hungry), had a Full English and Tea! It was lovely and went down a treat! Quality ingredients, cooked well. So you can't really go wrong! Staff were all friendly and made sure I had everything I needed Would definitely return if I'm back this way.

When you go for a breakfast and everything is cooked perfectly, the price is right and the service is excellent, you can’t get any better!

Absolutely terrific cafe. Extremely clean and lovely staff. Bacon bap was the best I’ve ever had. No fat and cooked perfectly. There isn’t much room in the cafe but they have an outside space. I can’t recommend enough.

Changed ownership but same staff and quality is the same and standards too.

Couldn't fault the breakfast at all thought it a little over priced as you have to pay Extra for a coffee or tea not included with breakfast

My friend and I meet up regularly for breakfast and our usual place has closed down so we looked for an alternative. Dixie’s turned out to be perfect. Best breakfast for years. Good quality, good price, great service and great cafe ambience. Definitely recommend.

Went here for a breakfast was a party of 3 waited nearly 40 mins for a breakfast which to be honest wasn’t the best the tomatoes and beans had next to no taste . In my opinion is overpriced and not really worth the wait . Arkle cafe in Scawthorpe offer a much better breakfast and you get a drink and complimentary flap jacks and orange juice. Probably won’t go again . Staff are nice.

Nice cafe with fresh tasting food

We are frequent visitors to the cafe. It’s small, cosy, and always busy, so we find it best to ring and reserve a table. The food is very good, the coffee is excellent, the staff are very friendly and helpful, including getting our wheelchair into a tight space (we have been to cafes where the staff just shrug and say they can’t help; not here). It’s also nice to sit on the verandah when the weather is fine.

Been here a few times. Reasonably priced and breakfast is very tasty. Sausages are some of the best I've tasted. Staff will go out of their way to nake sure your food is perfect.

Absolutely amazing love this place!

Decided to have a quick breakfast here after work. Service was OK, helpful staff - the mouldy roll was replaced very quickly and the price deducted from the bill. The sausage was so well done I felt sure it wasn't from that day as we may have visited just as they opened. Will not be returning

We’ve had take outs from Dixie’s numerous times but on a rare mid week morning off we popped in for ‘the works’ for breakfast. Wow it was so good, really good quality, very filling and excellent value for money. Full English with toast and a tea or coffee for less than £10 each. A warm welcome and excellent service. My husband spent the rest of the day saying how beaut his breakfast had been, would highly recommend.

Best quality food and staff always friendly

Always enjoy going to this friendly intimate cafe, really lucky to have it in our local village. Whether it's for a meal or just for a coffee always guaranteed to feel welcome.The food is fresh making it good value. Open on a Monday now making it convenient for any local workmen to pop in during they're break all week long which I would strongly recommend.

Went to Markam Grange with the granddaughter, cafe closed so we ended up at Dixies cafe on sprotbourgh Rd, excellent food and service, five star.

Good cafa would recommend it love the food and friendly staff and alqay happy and serve with a smile if u passing ot fancy pop down well worth the trip and won't find any better in the village 😀

Decided to get rid of all their high chairs so it’s no longer suitable for the family. After years of custom I no longer feel welcome at my local village cafe.

Me and my partner visit here quite regularly since moving into the area for the location alone, but the good atmosphere, the friendly and smiley staff and the food is what keeps us coming back. The food is always good, served just how you like and at a quick rate too, suitable for a takeaway sandwich or a sit-down breakfast. I usually order a full English and it is always prepared exactly how I like it, and with a barista style coffee machine, the hot drinks are always perfect too. The prices are very reasonable for the food and service you receive, and its location is ideal for the people who live in the village. My only qualm with this is the size, as there are only a handful of inside tables available and even less now there are social distancing measures in place. Other than this however, there is no better alternative to a good hearty breakfast in the area.

Went with a mate for breakfast. Great food and service with a smile. Only problem is not much room between tables and when a couple sat down on the next table it felt like we were sat together if you know what i mean. Prices similar to anywhere else.

Sausages are amazing. It's one of my favourite breakfast places, I would recommend it to everyone who comes to Doncaster. Me and my sister walk down and get some food in the holidays. Its always are go to place.

Our first visit to Dixies cafe was brilliant Compliments to the chef the food was 1st class .full breakfast and small breakfast everything was warm even the toast . Will be a regular from now on . Spotless clean cosy atmosphere. Very busy when we were there. Well done Joanne . Highly recommend .

. The food is superb the coffee absolutely fabulous nothing is too much trouble and the service is excellent. We started going because of the coffee and now go regularly.

The thing I love is how welcoming the staff are here, it's a lovely little cafe. I often walk here with my dog and the seating area outside is pleasent with a water bowl. The food and coffee is very nice here with a good selection. Always a pleasure 👍

Awesome place, fantastic service

We all meet as a group every week and on this occasion we tried Dixie’s. The service was friendly and efficient and we even rang ahead to reserve a table for seven which was no problem at all. The food is reasonably priced and very tasty. We all ordered different things - full breakfasts cheese on toast beans on toast etc and all came out very quickly which allowed us all to eat together. We then had a second cuppa and attempted to put the world to rights and we never felt rushed out at all. We will definitely be back. Please please try this place you will not be disappointed.
