The best restaurants serving British food in Ingleton and Clapham Craven Yorkshire and The Humber

We visited the OPO yesterday and loved our visit... The bar was full of great beers 🍻 to quench our thirst and the atmosphere was very friendly... just what is needed for the ingredients for inviting people to be together close together... there's no choice about getting close to eachother but all the more fun 😊... Loved it and I AM coming back xxx

Had a lovely meal with wine, the Buddha bowl, the seafood/mackerel one with truffle & parmesan cheese fries on the side. The Chilean house savignon blanc was suggested to us even though it was cheaper than the New Zealand. Goes to prove they were not just trying to make as much money as they could out of their customers. A refreshing change these days, & a refreshing wine. Thanks for a good evening we enjoyed the atmosphere, the humour, & of course the food. Andy & Tracy.

El desayuno fue uno de los mejores que hemos tenido. Precio estándar, que admite perros, ¿qué más necesitas? 😀 zona aislada, pero vale la pena ir en el coche para visitarlo.

We popped in early evening 18th Nov to this traditional British pub with the roaring fire, locals / walkers / residents with dogs at their feet and a great selection of drinks and beers. Whilst we did not have any food on this evening the food that was being brought from the kitchen looked fresh and homemade. The menu is what you'd expect from such a quaint place. We were staying at pods some 3/4 mile away. With being non resident we asked if they done breakfast. We paid the evening before and breakfast was served 8.30 - 9.30. (I do not know if they'd serve non residents at peak times) Whilst I'd say breakfast was limited, it emulated the food from the night before fresh and homemade.

Me reuní con amigos para un té de la tarde la semana pasada. Era todo lo que esperábamos de este negocio excepcional. Personal atento, comida fabulosa y un entorno glorioso. Tuvimos suerte de tener sol, así que nos sentamos en la habitación de la terraza mirando hacia el jardín. No tuvimos prisa en absoluto y había mucha comida y azotes de té y café. Precio muy razonable para una experiencia tan encantadora

Visited today for breakfast prior to doing Waterfall Trail. Very good quality breakfast at reasonable price, good efficient service, dog friendly too. Highly recommended.

We called here in December so on spec I decided to order the Christmas Dinner. The lunch tasted good. There were large portions of food. Meat and huge Yorkshire puddings alongside vegetables and cranberry sauce. The only issue I had was the stuffing that tasted as if it was from a packet. Other than that it was a good meal.

After being let down with a business lunch for 10 people this week I called Seasons to see if they could help...a great decision . A delicious selection of sandwiches the most amazing sausage rolls and lovely selection of cakes Fabulous feedback from the delegates, our lunch rivalled any from a delicatessen in London . And very good value for money Lucky Ingleton to have such a fabulous business In your town Thank you very much from a very satisfied customer x

Great pub but very busy at weekends, great food, great location, and free to park the camper overnight, no complaints at all.

Great little cosy pub at the end of ingleton walks. Very welcoming and lovely atmosphere.

We have visited this place loads of times over the past 15 years with our family and never had a problem until tonight. The food has increased in price drastically, the steak wasn’t so good. My brother and sister in law travelled from Rotherham to go out for our tea. My sister in law ordered a cider, it smelt off, was flat and tasted bitter. Took it to the bar to exchange, to be told by the manager “that is how it smells and tastes”. Disappointed and unable to drink it, so ordered a pepsi instead. What happened to the customer is always right. Well as a family that has highly recommended this place in the past. We wont be eager to recommend or return. Very disappointed.

Called in with my wife. I normally don’t leave reviews but the two staff whom appeared to be owners were so rude. they have no idea of customer service . The attitude to me was bad but to another gentleman with a child was absolutely vile.
