We visited the OPO yesterday and loved our visit... The bar was full of great beers đ» to quench our thirst and the atmosphere was very friendly... just what is needed for the ingredients for inviting people to be together close together... there's no choice about getting close to eachother but all the more fun đ... Loved it and I AM coming back xxx

Recently had a brilliant stay at Crina Bottom B&B at the foot of Ingleborough (one of the 3 peaks). It is entirely off-grid but the owners have done a terrific job in making the property comfortable, clean and very attractive. The bedrooms have been furbished to a high standard and you are guaranteed a sound sleep. The en-suites are large and are like those found in a good 5 star hotel. The chef produces great breakfasts which are substantial enough to set you up for the day ahead. I would thoroughly recommend this superb B&B

The food is out of the ordinary because the owner makes everything herself to her own âsecret â recipes and we were spoilt for choice. The pies and pasties are so much more than the words convey. We took the opportunity of stocking up for supper as well - the lamb mint and rosemary pasty is highly recommended as are the goats cheese and red onion tart and pork and black pudding roll. The cakes are fantastic. Iâd do that walk again just for the post-walk rewardsâŠ!

Had a lovely meal with wine, the Buddha bowl, the seafood/mackerel one with truffle & parmesan cheese fries on the side. The Chilean house savignon blanc was suggested to us even though it was cheaper than the New Zealand. Goes to prove they were not just trying to make as much money as they could out of their customers. A refreshing change these days, & a refreshing wine. Thanks for a good evening we enjoyed the atmosphere, the humour, & of course the food. Andy & Tracy.

First visit although we live at Ingleton and remember this being a Little Chef many years ago. Very busy. Three adults to feed so we chose cream scones and egg sandwich. All served very fresh, fries with the sandwich were hot and crispy. Scones were a good size crispy on the outside soft and fluffy in the middle, suggest homemade. Lovely latte coffee hot and milky but still tasting of coffee. Will recommend to friends and we will return as a family and perhaps try a meal next time. Small menu but good choices and also daily specials to choose from. Reasonably priced. Thank you We enjoyed our visit.

Was this place quirky-Yes In a good location - Yes Did it have outside seating- Yes Drinks good- Yes Is it Child Friendly- No Now donât get me wrong, this place is great. Sells local Ales-love. The guy behind the bar was friendly. However where this place went wrong. Iâll explain⊠As a group of 10 Adults & 8 Children, we were out for a walk exploring the local area to our campsite. Weâd walked for an hour, so we were all pleased and excited to see a pub with outside seating where we could sit and enjoy a drink. However the wasps! Now no one is blaming the pub, for this, it is what it is however what was not acceptable was when our children got over excited and letâs be honest flappy about the wasps. A couple of them jumped up on the benches/walls. Now Iâm not about to justify this, we calmed them down a couple of times so we arenât saying it was acceptable to stand on the seats, it wasnât. But what was not acceptable was when the lady working inside came out and quite aggressively shouted at our children, scared the living crap out of them and then very loudly told anyone that would listen that our children (and I quote) were âsavagesâ. Here is some friendly advice on dealing with children in the 21st century- come talk to the parents, even shout at us if you like. But what is never acceptable is to shout at other peoples children. Iâd have preferred you to have kicked us out, but letâs be honest, they werenât exactly trashing the place. I consider myself to be a pretty strict parent but they were just being kids, playing games and living a life outside of devices. It was actually nice to see. Your reaction was wholly unacceptable and Iâm hoping was you on a bad day rather than a true reflection of you and your business. I have based the 3 stars I have given you to take all aspects on board but my overall recommendation would be, this pub is not child friendly.

We popped in early evening 18th Nov to this traditional British pub with the roaring fire, locals / walkers / residents with dogs at their feet and a great selection of drinks and beers. Whilst we did not have any food on this evening the food that was being brought from the kitchen looked fresh and homemade. The menu is what you'd expect from such a quaint place. We were staying at pods some 3/4 mile away. With being non resident we asked if they done breakfast. We paid the evening before and breakfast was served 8.30 - 9.30. (I do not know if they'd serve non residents at peak times) Whilst I'd say breakfast was limited, it emulated the food from the night before fresh and homemade.
