What a lovely little roadside cafe. The staff were so happy, helpful and seemed to be having a great time dispite the fact that it was a busy Sunday lunch/brunchtime. The Sausage rolls were to die for and the cakes were a real treat having climbed Inglebrough the day before.

Had a saltbeef sandwich, but sadly the cure hadn't reached much of the inside of the beef and it was like eating totally raw beef. Salad and slaw and chips excellent. Service friendly and efficient. Atmosphere is a bit canteenish. Coffee excellent.

A very odd experience. Almost as if customers were a bother. We arrived at 11:30AM, and smelled some wonderful grilled meats. But the only menu they had was the breakfast menu. We asked 3 different employees about what was going to be served and when and referenced the great aroma. The first one replied: "it's whateverr is in the BBQ". Rather obvious. We asked what it was and when it would be available and were ignored. A similar situation with the cashier and then with the fellow who suddenly ran around the restaurant after we had gotten our tea and pastry (we had wanted something more substantial, but not breakfast at 11:30). He relied: "I don't know what the chef is cooking". We looked at the menu which had better choices for lunch, and then the menu guy put up the daily special board a few seconds later, which clearly referenced several meat items. The also had a board with a schedule: 3PM cold sandwiches and soup only.3:15 desserts only, and 3:30 takeaway only. Weird and compressed service timeline. We ended up leaving since no one seemed to want us to be able to order anything we were interested and and no employee had a clue despite there being 6 people in the one large open 15 foot square kitchen and counter. The food may have been good, but we would never have known despite our best efforts.

Lovely spot! clean and welcoming, friendly staff. I had superfood salad, which was very different and tasty. My husband had Asian pork bagel 🥯 which he thoroughly enjoyed. We also bought delish looking kitkat brownie and the lovely lady cut it in two for us to have later. Unfortunately we never got to eat them as our teenagers discovered them before we got a chance… We’ll be back same time next year, keep up the good work 😊

Really want to like this place but I'm afraid I didn't. Staff were fine and the location is great...but coffee pretty dire and the "superfood salad" at almost £12 just wasn't. I've had quite a few of these in various places and expect at least a few seeds, maybe lentils and a range of veg with a good dressing. This one was a huge amount of half cooked carrot chunks, bulgur, some strangely soggy cherry tomatoes and cucumber that had the texture of something once frozen..and some very strong and unpleasant, possibly kimchi (?) fennel. And of course some brown balsamic reduction on top. So disappointing and not at all super. A real shame.

Just caught the breakfast menu (Finishes at 11:30) and ordered the breakfast, can see why the place is always busy with cars in the carpark, a perfect brunch! Will be back! 🙂 Update: SEP 24, after several visits, can say the quality is consistent, and great food everytinme 😀

Strategically located on a through road this cafe is always busy. Stopped of here one quiet afternoon when for a change there were only a few people visiting. It was 45 minutes before closing though. Staff are pleasant, service is good and food varied and good value. Area is clean, location beautiful and value for money high. Down side is closes quite early and the closer you get to closing time the offering gets smaller. That's to be expected as ovens need switching off hobs need cleaning etc. the other thing is it feels a bit like a church hall ratger than a cafe but honestly thats not really much. So as a cafe it's very good and testimony to that are the hundreds of people that always seem to patronise it.

We used to call in often because the food was excellent. But it has gone down hill, today I had a ham and mustard sandwich because they have stopped doing the pulled pork wrap. The ham was thin sliced in a Warburton thin sliced bread. Silly me thought the ham would be thickly sliced and in a baguette. If I wanted a cheap ham sandwich I would have gone to a supermarket, and spent £2 instead of £8.

Called on our way home after being up in the lakes. Really just wanted a drink, but looked at menu and both decided to have something to eat aswel. I had a cheese toasty and fries, which was very nice, very tasty. Probably one of the nicest toasties I've had to be fair. My wife just wanted a bowl of chips and again looked nice, and my wife said they was. Plenty of parking, with a good tarmac surface, good access into the building. Plenty of seating inside and outside. Right on the A65. If we're passing again at some point, it will be a place to stop at again. Definitely recommend it.

After doing the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and realising that on Tuesdays a lot of places are closed in Ingleton, we looked online for somewhere open. Came across the Goat Gap Cafe. Lovely dog friendly cafe. The menu is for lunch, so sandwiches, toasties, salads etc. We had soup of the day, cheese toastie and a child's meal. A meal of two halves. I had a nice coffee and a good toastie. The other two people I was with had buttermilk chicken wrap. Horrible. It was made up of offcuts of roasted or boiled chicken. It wasn't fried- if you order buttermilk chicken or Google it you can see it is supposed to be fried in a batter. Weird dish and really unappetising, with grey chicken and slimy bits of undercooked fat. Odd and maybe an anomaly as the other menu item was great and well presented. It's a nice space and the coffee is good but I'll probably avoid the food next time!

The coffee is good coffee, I come regularly. I have just had a few too many burnt pastries and I really do not agree with them refusing to let you have syrup in a flat white and also when you get to the point you have a free drinks voucher being told you have to pay for the extra shot in your coffee when thats your daily order. - So its not a free drink. The coffee is good though!
