Village Kitchen in Craven

Stopped and sat in for a full English breakfast first thing this Thursday morning, freshly cooked to order. A good wholesome quality breakfast it was too, my photos don't do it justice as by the time the photos were taken we had made a start. English breakfast consists of egg, two bacon, sausage, black pudding, fresh tomato, hash browns, beans, mushrooms and toast. The cappuccino was good also and a tea. We will have no hesitation in returning when next in the area.

My first visit here, but it won't be the last. A nice simple menu and really low prices, along with friendly staff. Easy to find bang in the village centre.

Leak and chicken pasty was mostly pastry, nice but it would have been better with a bit more filling and taste, also shared a bowl of chips which were mostly scraps and cold, the coffee though was great! The seating is mostly outside and there was a family with many kids screaming while others were eating, so sadly the atmosphere wasn’t great either. Coffee yes, food no 😞 the staff were very friendly and helpful and welcoming

Nice spot for a bite after the waterfall walk, friendly service, reasonably priced, but very average food.

This is a great local cafe. Good food, fantastic staff and real value for money. Everyone is welcome and there’s a buzz about the place. Dog friendly! On street parking. Give it a go!

We were looking for food in Ingleton nowhere seemed open but we came across this cafe the food was lovely cooked fresh and very reasonably priced. I will be visiting again

Unreliable opening times. We wanted breakfast at 7:15 on a Thursday, but they were shut, so we had to make so with something from the Co-op. There was another group of 7 or 8 people who had to do likewise. Someone finally arrived to open up at 7:30, by which time we’d already eaten.

Cracking place for a bite to eat , staff were fantastic and very helpful. Food tasted really good, eat outside in the sun. Plenty of condiments on the table … and short of time nipped in to ask for a box to take away some unfinished sandwich … they obliged no problem. Thanks guys

Had their VKFC on a bap, fantastic taste. Food is great all over. Great place to stop for eating if you driving on that dual carriageway. It's located in a very small town. You might not get a parking there as the road is narrow and there is one way only but this place is totally worth. The lady served with a smile. Thanks

Stopped off here yesterday for a bite to eat, with my husband and Dad. Dad had an epically massive sausage roll, Dom had the most amazing homemade Quiche served warm as well and I had a lovely sandwich but all of us had chips with cheese and I had extra gravy. The portion size was amazing value for money and soo tasty. Everything was lovely.

Excellent food, great owner and staff. A must try is their Cottage Pie/Hot Beef Butty and chips/Sausage and Bacon Butties. And to top it off they do sausages for the dogs. If visiting Ingleton get yourself down there.

We visited the cafe before going to the waterfalls. Lovely coffee with oat milk. My partner had a bacon butty & I have a cheese roll. Fresh and good value. Very small inside but the friendly locals budged up lol. V friendly staff.

Nipped in here after an early morning walk at the nearby viaduct. Had a great feed for a reasonable price. Recommend the homemade sausage roll and the hot chocolate - perfect winter warmers! Certainly worth calling in after experiencing the local countryside.

I was in the area working and wanted to get some food before my meeting, Ingleton is a strange little town very pictureresk but so quiet I found the village kitchen and the place seemed busy ish, the food was nice though not alot of space in side to eat it and freshly prepared and the price was also very reasonable.

A sausage roll was consumed, it was very tasty and filling, quite delicious. Other grub will be tried.

My parents live in Ingleton and use this place regularly. If you want one of the best sausage sandwiches you will taste, this is the place. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The other food looks awesome but I can’t get past ordering the sausage butty to try anything else! My daughter recommends the veggie sausage too) . Coffee is excellent. Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed.

Be very careful if you have any food allergies, obviously not heard of Natasha's law. Friend with nut allergy nearly got caught out by ordering what looked like Mars bar cake, turns out it was Nutella crispy, only because another of the party asked for crispy cake and was asked which biscoff (which was a rocky road) or Nutella? That a serious incident was avoided. Good coffee though.

Only went in to have a look what was on offer as a local tourist, staff was very rude and unpleasant as we were trying to decide if we going to get something. One member of staff was patronising after deciding not to buy anything. Would not recommend to anyone tourist that visits Ingleton. If it was up to me I would not even give one star, the women behind the desk needs an attitude check if they want future business.

What a delicious find , the most tastiest and crunchiest dumpling and the mince yummy. Just didn't want to finish. Dont get me started on those chips mmmmm . Definitely going back to this little cozy restaurant.

I recently stumbled across this small restaurant on a Sunday when most other establishments appeared to be closed. How lucky were we... what a great little place. Friendly staff and the best scone that I have had in a very long time. Some seating inside...

Called in for a coffee and scone on Jubilee day when in the village. Was not disappointed at all helpful and friendly staff and a lovely selection of cakes and snacks and a very good coffee machine. Inside seating is very limited but outdoor seating is good with sun shades . The village kitchen is in the main village centre and we fully intend to visit again today for lunch.

Called in here twice during our recent visit to Ingleton from Northumberland…..sat outside both times in the beautiful square and had breakfast….what can i say….best full english I’ve had in a long time and definitely the best in Ingleton…lovely setting, lovely friendly staff, lovely food….what more could you want….would definitely recommend.

Great place to eat with very tasty home cooked food, the quiche was lovely. The two girls serving were very helpful and friendly. Well worth a visit.

Amazing breakfast best around, really friendly staff and accomodating for the dog too 🙂 the misses doesn't like black pudding and even she ate it all. Even if your not in the area go you won't regret it we come every year we are in the dales. We even came 2 days in a row this year

We were stopping at the nearby Masons pub and one of the bar staff recommended this place for a top quality breakfast. Boy he wasn't wrong, the place is a right little gem, right in the heart of the village. Also it's less than 100 yards from the end of the Ingleton Waterfalls Trail. The breakfast itself was immense and the quality of the food shone through. Tons of variety on offer as well, it's not just fry-ups available. My only gripe was I was too full after my breakfast to sample any of the stunning looking cakes that they had there on display. Prices are incredibly good value for money, considering the quality of the ingredients. Inside and outside seating available as well as a customer toilet. This place is a must, for anyone looking for a belting breakfast/meal/snack/cake. Do not miss out on calling into this place.

Had an absolutely belting lasagne followed by an equally epic cake not so long ago. Big portions, great value. Opens early too so you can grab lunch on the way to work. Win win.

Staff are good. Food is good. Prices are competitive. Mainly outside seating. Central location. However, I cannot in good conscience use the Village Kitchen again whilst it is using disposable cutlery and crockery

Just had a full English breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! Also got quiche for dinner and can't wait to eat it, might not make it to dinner time. Back in Ingleton next week and can't wait to go back and eat more food, everything...

After a morning’s walking we came into the town to get a bite to eat. The food was as warm and as good as the service. Recommended.

Just had lasagne and salad for lunch with a piece of very garlic bread. Lovely meal, plenty to eat and a very reasonable price. This has become our regular visit now.

On a dull October morning called at The Village Kitchen for breakfast. My husband had the full English breakfast and I had a bacon and tomato toasted sandwich. Both were excellent being both tasty and superbly cooked! The scones pastries and cakes looked delicious too!...

Great food, bakes all homemade by the owner & delicious. If you have dietary requirements, just ask & they will try to help. They enjoy chatting to customers & have good local knowledge, got a fireplace at Lord's Reclaimation nearby thanks to them!

Great addition to Ingleton, not been open long but the food was fresh and superb. Sat and chatted to the owner after eating, very friendly, learnt a lot about Ingleton in a very short time. Highly recommended.
