After reading the reviews ,me and my partner thought we would try the restaurant out,it was very quiet ,lovely atmosphere and decor ,,but the best was yet to come ,the food was beautifully prepared & presented , and was full of fresh flavours, it was a lovely evening,this is a little gem of a restaurant.

Great food and location. Excellent nibbles to start, Spanish Pork for main and excellent brownie pudding. Staff really friendly and welcoming. Will definitely go again.

Booked for our 37th Wedding Anniversary. It far surpassed our expectations. Delicious food, excellent staff and amazing ambience.

A lovely little local restaurant. I would say you need to book. We went for our anniversary and got a table in the window. Service was good and the food was really nice. Prices were very fair for what you got. seafood platter to start was really nice to share. Spanish pork and lamb shank for main. Veggies were cooked well.

Walked in on the of chance I could get a table and wow I'm glad they could accommodate me, the scallops and seafood platter was the best you could ask for, followed by the amazing Moroccan lamb and potatoes finished of with the Eton mess pudding , amazing food and service, Thank you, Only one thing I'd have to say could change was due to me not having cash I couldn't tip so maybe if you add a tip onto the bill at the end with the option of a certain %, I'm sure it would be ok with less and less people carrying cash,

Can't rate the food. Booked a table because the reviews said dig friendly. We were refused the table on arrival as we had a dog. Now most venues in Ingleton allow dogs. Would not recommend this place at all.

We went for the Chinese evening the food was absolutely fantastic great menu. Lovely atmosphere and very helpful happy staff.

Wow! What an amazing meal! We booked the Chinese Themed Menu, and we were not disappointed!! I had the salmon and prawn balls with a sweet chilli dip, my husband the king prawns in Asian sauce with Soy , Honey and Chilli, the starters were so tasty we had to share!! For main, I had the Pan Fried Sea bass with ginger, garlic, and spring onions, so light and fragrant. My husband had szechaun pork, which he said was delicious, we were full but managed to squeeze in a delicious dessert - the chocolate brownie is the best I have ever had!! We will be back and already looking at the Christmas menu!! Thank you, Bank Top. The service was great. It was a shame I was driving as the cocktail menu looked very tempting!! Next time .....

Fantastic meal on Friday night at the themed Chinese night - food and service was out of this world . So much so that we’ve booked to go again for the Christmas menu next weekend !

Can’t fault this place which is why we returned and will continue to do so when we come to Ingleton which is frequently. Service 10/10, atmosphere 10/10, chef 10/10 as food is excellent. We both had the pork with chorizo in a butter bean sauce served with a varied choice of vegetables and potatoes. Followed by ginger sponge pudding with toffee sauce which was the best I’ve ever had! This place is a little gem. The staff are exceptionally professional, the restaurant is so clean and the food was beautiful. We ate as a group of four with everyone having something different. All the dishes were beautifully made, fresh tasting and well presented with very generous portions. We ate three courses and felt the cost offered exceptional valve for money given how good the meal was. We will certainly return again. Thankyou for a wonderful evening.

Superb service , very friendly, Seafood platter starter was nicely done, the pork and chorizo main was very good and the accompanying veg and baby roast potatoes were just about perfect. Tikka masala was very good too.

This restaurant had such potential going off the reviews. Unfortunately the main meals let it down, with 4 ingredients in the dish we picked 2 were missing. The side of vegetables had no seasoning at all on them and just tasted like basic boiled veg!! The risotto element of the main dish was so over cooked it felt like glue in our mouths! For the price being charged we expected better. The starters were ok, but my husbands toasted sour dough bread cut his mouth it was that hard! The waitress was great just a shame the chef and food let it down.

Starter was so hard it made my mouth bleed. Very average food didn’t even have the ingredients on the menu. Staff were lovely but need to get the food sorted, microwave meal standard.

Bank Top restaurant, Ingleton, is absolutely fantastic, food is freshly prepared from top quality and locally sourced ingredients. Faultless services. We literally wiped the plates 😁.

This place was incredible Menu choice was excellent, the service we had from walking in was beyond fault, the food was as absolutely brilliant no faults at all! Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Starters, main and dessert all lovely. House red was perfect. All very reasonably priced. Sea bass cooked to perfection. Pork fillet with chorizo was brilliant. The highlight was the cherry and almond tart. It was an example of first class baking. Lovey atmosphere and very well detailed decor throughout. A perfect meal out.

Went here this evening for the first time and it exceeded our expectations by far. Great atmosphere as the restaurant was full. Fabulous food prepared and cooked by a wonderful chef and the two young waitresses were very accommodating and friendly too. We will definitely return and would recommend anyone who loves food to try it!

The menu is not extensive however what is on the menu is cooked fresh to order & is excellent & extremely tasty. We enjoyed it so much we tried to get in for a second night but they were fully booked. The service was also very good. I would definitely recommend this place but book in advance so you won't be disappointed.

Six of us went to the Bank Top last night, it was a Chinese menu for a change which was fabulous, Faye the owner and her lovely staff looked after all of us and again the food was top notch. This place is not open often so I suggest booking when you see a specials night they are fantastic and busy.

Lovely food and a menu with so many things I could have ordered. Service was very good without being over attentive. Lovely surroundings although not buzzing when we arrived but it was an off-peak Saturday and we were close to last orders so several others may have already left by the time we got there. Wish I lived closer than I do as I would be back every week

When we visited in October, Bank Top was only open 3 nights a week, so it's wise to check it out and book. That said, when we dined there, they had a board offering 'walk in' tables. Parking is limited in Ingleton, but we were able to park right outside. The service throughout the evening was excellent and the food tasty and well presented.

Absolutely superb, highly recommended. Seafood platter starter was outstanding, the Lamb Shank and Dexter Beef Pie were both superb. Lovely good humoured service too.

Loved the first visit: two steak and ale pies, sea bass and a risotto to rave about, so we went back the very next evening and this time selected the lamb shank (wow!), pie again and chicken. Oh, and the beer too of course!

My wife and I Booked in here last night, the food was fantastic, not just what we ordered (prawns to start then Spanish style lamb shank) but the vegs ect all brilliantly cooked, this was Michelin star quality, it was our first visit as new...

I just have to say what a beautiful restaurant and stunning food, I can’t praise it enough, the staff are extremely good and so nice. If you visit Ingleton, please visit this restaurant, for thé exceptional standard of food the price is very reasonable. The restaurant is open Thurs-Sat at the moment, and I recommend booking.

This restaurant is a must when visiting Ingleton. It is stylish and welcoming and the food is excellent. Genuinely cannot recommend highly enough.

This was absolutely gorgeous. First, the venue was so cozy and comfortable with a great ambience. Second the menu was lush without being pretentious. We had the platter to share and found that everything was perfect, the mozzarella was fresh and creamy, sun-dried tomatoes were soft and tangy, and the beetroot hummus was garlicky and delicious. We shared a bottle of cabernet sauvignon, light, fruity and a perfect pairing with our food. Main course was the burger on brioche with chunky chips - delicious¡! I wanted a lighter main so ordered the peri prawns and they were amazing- perfectly cooked with just the right amount of seasoning. The service was superb, and we felt looked after without being fussed over. I loved it. I want to come here again. I want to bring all my friends and family. Well done Bank Top. I am certainly a fan now ☺️

Service and food excellent. We all enjoyed our individual dishes and the chiefs take on each. Next time we're Ingleton you can Bank on a visit from us, we loved it.
