Been here many many times oven 30 years when I lived over that area, now I live an hour away.. This is the first visit in the last 3 years Firstly who's idea it was to paint such a beautiful building mushy peas green is beyond me...just awful.. I ordered the salmon & prawn fish cake which was Luke warm and I managed to find one whole prawn Next week had the steak which was cooked perfectly And I was looking forward to the triple cooked chips that accompany it I was disappointed Frozen pencil chips arrived What happened to your triple cooked chunky chips that I was expecting and advertised as triple cooked No way could you triple cook frozen french frys.. I can fully understand now why you are closing Standard from 3 years ago has definitely dropped hence your drop in takings Shame Used to be a beautiful venue to have our family party's But that mushy pea green building Well need I say more

Me and the hubby nipped in on the off chance to try breakfast. Ashley the waiter was amazing he was attentive and friendly and a credit to the team. He explained my options as a vegan and even showed me how to work the coffee machine 😂😂😂 The breakfast was lush I had a full vegan breakfast had vegan sausage and bacon aswell as two types of alternative milk and sunflower spread (that is outstanding choice) the customer service provided by Ashley was 5* we will definitley be back. 100% value for money.

Nice.place family run could do with a makeover though, but the staff and pub is a very nice place.to.visit very relaxing

We haven’t been here for a couple of years what a surprise. Food that looks like the pictures in the menu and was delicious piping hot . Clean toilets .Friendly chatty staff a really nice atmosphere.
