The best restaurants serving British food in Solihull West Midlands

Not impressed and have just read they got a zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating from the food standards agency in June. Definitely won't be returning.

Had a fabulous server, Maddie. Very helpful, knowledgeable about the food, attentive, polite ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We went for breakfast and it was really rubbish. I ordered eggs Benedict. What I got was a bap (not a toasted muffin) cut in half with a piece of bacon on each side. On half I got an overcooked egg, on the other side all I got was boiled egg white with no yolk. To try and cover it all up, hollandaise sauce was slathered all over the place. We ordered kids toast with Nutella. Weirdly the toast came with margarine on and then a pot of Nutella as well. My husband ordered the full English. Super greasy and bits burnt. All in all, won’t be going back and was absolutely not worth the money. Would avoid like the plague!

I traveled for work and stayed in this hotel which has everything you need. Good value for money. There is also a beer garden below, so if the weather is nice you can also stay outside

Tuvimos una encantadora familia reunida en la Olton Tavern, 12 de nosotros, la mayoría de nosotros tuvimos almuerzo de domingo, no podía faltar nada, las comidas se reunieron, el personal parecía servicial, paciente nada a muchos problemas a pesar de que el pub estaba ocupado, pub tiene un buen ambiente.

Visited the Woodman's Rest for dinner with family last week. It was a lovely evening. We'd made a reservation with Rachel and got a lovely table. There's a great variety of seating options, be it at the bar or for couples, small groups, or larger parties. A fabulous outdoor seating area is reading to go when the weather gets better and would be a brilliant option in the summertime. The service was excellent, and our drinks were served promptly while we looked at the menu. We opted for the sea bass and a mixed seafood main. Both dishes were delicious and well presented. Compliments to the chef! All the staff were friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Rachel, who was so attentive, pleasant, and helpful, on what was a busy Saturday, she made our visit memorable. Hope to be back again in the future.

Saturday 11 January 20, My friend and I came here for a late lunch after a shop till you drop shopping spree in Solihull. We arrived and found a nice table in a corner which could accommodation us and all our bags of shopping. We looked at the menu which was on the table and made our selection. I went to the bar to order our drinks and food. My friend and I ordered egg mayonnaise sandwiches on brown bread We also ordered a pot of tea and a latte coffee for myself. The drinks arrived very quickly and the food when it arrived was nicely presented and accompanied with rocket salad, coleslaw and lovely piping hot chips, which were delicious. This was a nice place to come and have a late lunch in a nice relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend coming here after a day of shopping.

Qué adorable señora dueña del café. Tuve una agradable charla con ella y tiene la mejor salchicha y sándwich de huevo que he tenido de un café. Definitivamente volveré. Ella también era tan paciente con mi sobrina discapacitada.

este carvery es el mejor carvery en el que he estado también tuvimos el servicio más increíble de Maisie y molly había 8 de nosotros era tan delicioso con ganas de volver de nuevo muchas gracias por esta experiencia inolvidable 100% recomiendo

Fantastic carvery today. Staff clearly busy but fantastic service. Extra Yorkshire pudding on this Yorkshire girl's birthday was greatly appreciated!

It was my first time back at Nandos in years. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was tasty and plenty. The price was good. It's worth the visit. It was packed with families and various people. I will go back. The price was good too.

Me and my partner visited this pub today for lunch . We had a lovely welcome from the young lad behind the bar who showed us to our table . Then becky our waitress came out and we ordered our food . We didnt have to wait long . The food was lovely hot and taste great . We also had pudding after too was which was really nice .and we both enjoyed our meal . The time we went was quite and it was lovely to have a nice meal with my partner . We both said we would go back again as the staff and service was great .
