Nice pub tucked away in the countryside, nicely run.

We booked a meal for tonight & although the restaurant was very busy, the staff worked really well to serve all of the customers. The actual carvery meal was really good, the meat was tender & very tasty & the vegetables were plentiful, varied & not at all dried up. Our waitress, Maggie, was very friendly, cheerful & quite funny, especially with a couple of her comments back to me! She was a real star tonight. Thank you, Maggie.

Tuvimos una encantadora familia reunida en la Olton Tavern, 12 de nosotros, la mayoría de nosotros tuvimos almuerzo de domingo, no podía faltar nada, las comidas se reunieron, el personal parecía servicial, paciente nada a muchos problemas a pesar de que el pub estaba ocupado, pub tiene un buen ambiente.

Friendly staff and great food. Food arrived quickly and was great value for money. Big thanks to symone who took our order on the bar and tyreece who bought our food and drinks to our table.

Parte del Premier Inn y el desayuno era bueno. El servicio fue un poco lento debido al número de clientes. Desafortunadamente no abrió para las cenas, aunque el bar estaba abierto

So, have driven past this pub for years but never been in until last night. Pub is much bigger than expected so has nice space to sit down and chat. Menu very good. Battered Mushrooms very good. Gobi dhansak curry a very good vegan option. Poppadoms and samosas good sides. The ability to order by the app is always a good thing for top up beers. Service and atmosphere friendly. All good.

Great place. Felt nice and relaxed. The staff are friendly, helpful and kind. Pub was spotlessly clean throughout. Well done to the new manger, will definitely be coming back!

Tuvimos una estancia fantástica. Asistimos a un espectáculo en el NEC para el que este lugar estaba perfectamente ubicado. La ubicación era fácil de llegar fuera de la autopista. Todo el mundo era tan acogedor para la cena, el desayuno, el registro y las consultas antes de la estancia fueron contestadas muy rápidamente. No puedo esperar a volver en el futuro

Saturday 11 January 20, My friend and I came here for a late lunch after a shop till you drop shopping spree in Solihull. We arrived and found a nice table in a corner which could accommodation us and all our bags of shopping. We looked at the menu which was on the table and made our selection. I went to the bar to order our drinks and food. My friend and I ordered egg mayonnaise sandwiches on brown bread We also ordered a pot of tea and a latte coffee for myself. The drinks arrived very quickly and the food when it arrived was nicely presented and accompanied with rocket salad, coleslaw and lovely piping hot chips, which were delicious. This was a nice place to come and have a late lunch in a nice relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend coming here after a day of shopping.

We booked for a special 70th birthday celebration for my mother. We pre informed the team on the phone of our special dietary requirements, 5* vegan, and were extremely disappointed to be told when we arrived and ordered that our special requirements could not be met as they didnt have a record. We were offered vegan sandwiches but as most will appreciate, you dont have an afternoon tea for the sandwiches! Whilst we appreciate it wasnt the servers fault, the customer service was poor and we felt like we were the ones in the wrong! Even though we could see the drinks had been made and we asked to have those complimentary (given our wasted 30 minute drive), we were told they weren't ready! It ruined our special day - our toddler was crying all the way home - and we wont be returning.

Excelente comida y servicio y precios razonables. Mañana estoy allí de nuevo. Encuentro viejo. Amigo universitario. Espero con ansias.

Booked mid week for Sunday lunch at 1.00pm.hitel restaurant rang an hour before booking to say 'not doing Sunday lunch today,due to kitchen issues'!very disappointing.Also noticed menu has been reduced significantly since we last went,although price has increased.In desperation,we managed to book at very short notice for lunch at another hotel,which was superb.The Ansty Hall charges £10 per person for any cancellation.Perhaps they would like to pay us £10 compensation per person for cancelling.Really not worth dealing with them!

Amazing breakfast was well cooked to perfection was the best I ever had friendly owner clean inside well decorated like old fashion and I love it I can recommend this place Mr. Wig. Youtube

Not impressed and have just read they got a zero-out-of-five food hygiene rating from the food standards agency in June. Definitely won't be returning.
