Great pub with friendly staff and excellent food and drink.will certainly be returning. One of the best pubs in solihull.

The olton tavern quiz yesterday was amazing and the staff were lovely and kind. The Sunday roast were astonishing with the way it was served and the portions.

Came for dinner Sunday evening Lovely welcoming staff, nice reasonable priced tasty food. Really nice atmosphere they even had a quiz that looked great fun. I will definitely return.

Awful. Two adults & two children. Waited over 45 minutes for the food ( no mention of a delay upon ordering ). Food came out cremated chips were like crisps. Childs sunday roast was burnt. Not one member of staff apologised for the delay nor did they ask if the food was ok. To top it off there was a young waitress hovering over our table and was asking for plates while we were still eating off them!! When we had finished we hadnt even left the table and she was dressing it for the next people. Wont be returning.

Came for dinner around 6.30pm on Sunday 5th November, pub atmosphere was lovely, very busy but found a seat. Staff were so helpful and polite. Had an amazing steak would rate it better than Miller and Carters steak, I usually don’t eat the whole plate but couldn’t fault anything. We shall be returning again.

This pub / restaurant has been recently refurbished. The large and pleasant interior has now been upgraded to a very good standard. There is also an outside terrace at the front and a garden to the rear. It is traditional pub food, the prices are reasonable and there are also very good value lunch offers. We both had scampi my partner with chips and mine with salad. The staff are all very pleasant. We enjoyed our lunchtime.

Huge thank you to the manager and his team. We used the function room for a birthday celebration and they all went above and beyond to make it a very special memorable evening. Couldn’t have been more helpful, well organised and engaging with us and made the birthday really special. With a large group they also made sure all meals were spot-on and all served at same time. Went to Olton Tavern for our wedding anniversary meal. Service, food all excellent , would recommend this pub for food, atmosphere, very friendly staff. Will be going again for a tribute night. 5 stars from me
