This was my first visit to Herefordshire and I popped in (upon the recommendation of a friend) because I was staying nearby. When I walked through the door, I received the warmest of welcomes and the atmosphere and decor was very cosy - not to mention the amazing aromas coming from the kitchen. I was greeted by the owners - who were exceptionally nice and we chatted as if we'd known each other for much, much longer. As it was raining outside, I ordered a coffee and cheese and potato soup which came with a cheese scone. So tasty!!! I decided to take my laptop out and get a bit of work done...two hours later, I was still there. The wifi was fantastic and fast. Over the course of my visit, several locals popped in - some ordered food; others just relaxed. The Huddle Hub is a place I would recommend for locals and visitors alike!

A real hidden gem in Hereford. The owners are really lovely They are genuinely really friendly and lovely. They host a super quiz once a fortnight and offer great food at a very small additional cost. We love going there.

Stopped here en route to the Midlands from the Gower. We wanted a bite to eat near Symonds Yat Rock and were put off of the local pubs due to very high prices and varied reviews. The Potting Shed had fabulous reviews, an eye catching, easy to navigate web site, interesting menu and reasonable prices. We booked a table, as advised on the website, and were cheerfully greeted by Shelly. We ordered tea for two, which came in beautiful, china crockery, pea and ham soup, broccoli and stilton quiche and a ploughman’s. The soup was delicious; flavoursome and fresh, served with a warm, crusty white roll and Welsh butter. The ploughman’s had plenty of quality cheese and a rich, homemade fig relish. The quiche had lots of stilton and chunky broccoli. Scrumptious. Both came with salads that were fresh, tasty and absolute works of art. Chef Paul is a wonder. Shelly was kind enough to answer all my questions about the fascinating building and beautiful surroundings and we left, both of us, determined to return to sample more of the menu. Lucky locals to have this gem on their doorstep. Thank you to Shelly and Paul for facilitating the perfect end to our mini break. We can’t wait to return to The Potting Shed again. The view from Symonds Yat Rock was breathtaking, by the way.

We visited last night for a party celebration, the food was absolutely beautiful, the pub is very cosy and the staff are absolutely fantastic. We will definitely be returning. Loved how with your main meal your 1st drink was included from a selection they had available. If you haven't visited you must give this little gem a go.

I suppose I'm a bit biased as this is my local. But it is a traditional family run pub and tea room and bookshop that does food as well. Like Sunday lunches. It's a good family pub, the puddings are amazing, all cooked on the premises, not like some where they are bought in. And the atmosphere is welcoming.

The bookshop includes, on its menu, a review from the Guardian that it is the 'best UK Sunday Lunch' which could well be true, but doesn't do justice to just how good the food is, or to the amazing customer service levels delivered. A special mention for Jake for looking after our table and ensuring that our party was happy with everything.

We came here a couple of times while staying in the area. They have an excellent selection of ciders and they are very dog friendly! We also had a meal one evening which was delicious. The pub also has a very historic feel, very pretty and fitting with Ledbury.
