Called in for lunch with my husband and staffie Ollie. Lovely friendly cafe. We both had a jacket potato which were well cooked Our coffees were pipping hot and finished off with one of their home made cakes which was to die for. Would definitely recommend

Ordered quiches and salads for a birthday celebration. Everything was stunning - so fresh and tasty. Have ordered many a quiche and salad lunch box since. Would 100% recommend.

Nice little cafe, very popular with the takeaway menu. Staff very pleasant and great food. Room upstairs also. Proper pot of tea and hand sanitiser on the table was nice touch.

Went for a breakfast after finding little on offer in the cathedral cafe, and I’m so pleased we did! A fab cooked breakfast and tea, at a reasonable price, wish we lived closer. Recommended.

Having tried several others this is head and shoulders above the competition. Local sourced quality produce and you can taste the difference. There is cheaper available but there’s no substitute for quality. I am fussy and asked for my sausage to be burnt (I’m sure the chef wasn’t happy with that) and I got exactly what I’d asked for. Also as I don’t like tomatoes I declined it and they gave me an additional mushroom (without asking). Polite efficient service from staff who really care, coffee is excellent too. Cannot fault the place

Lovely sandwiches here. Always been very fresh and tasty. Fair prices also. Baffles me why they close on Saturdays & Sundays tho, such a busy area there on the weekends, feel like they’re missing out on good custom.

So I’m fussy about my breakfast but nothing was too much trouble. Not a fan of tomato so was immediately offered an extra mushroom! I like sausages well done - can’t be over cooked IMO and that’s exactly what was delivered. Excellent quality freshly prepared service with a smile. Definitely the best breakfast in Hereford - and lunches are great too!

Coffee was tasty. Service was attentive and efficient. The coconut and chilli chicken sandwich, although filling, lacked a little taste. Slightly coconutty but hardly a hint of chilli. Overall, an enjoyable experience and we will return.

Excellent sandwiches and a novelty that when you ask for no salad you get no salad. Great service too and a small bill. Would certainly recommend the vegetarian meals as recommended by my son.

Came in with my wife for lunch today about 3 minutes before their kitchen closed. They were still happy do us food, and we were both pleased they did. Large and hearty salads, with plenty of both the topping and the three salads it came with. Obviously fresh and certainly delicious. Would throughly recommend and would certainly go back.

A full English is the same all over right?? Wrong! Fabulous quality locally sourced ingredients cooked to perfection and service with a smile. Very fair prices based on the quality. Lunch and snacks here are also excellent don’t miss out pay them a visit you won’t regret it 😀

I've only been in a few times but every time I've been in there the staff have been absolutely lovely, which sometimes is the main factor in deciding whether you come back. It also helps that their coffee is lovely, and the vegan bourbon tiffin is so yummy! They do a really good selection of vegan food which is awesome. They also have a few gluten free things too. A little expensive but you can understand why because the food is lovingly made and locally sourced, and definitely worth it to support a local business, just worth bearing in mind if you're on a budget or have a large family. Would highly recommend!! Definitely worth a visit :)

Visited this little deli in the centre of Hereford near the beautiful Hereford Cathedral. Had the most delicious chicken coronation, lettuce, mango chutney, chunky raita and Bhjaii on granary bread. Great flat white as well 👏🏻👏🏻

My husband and I had a rare day out together today before lockdown. We decided to stop here for lunch and were very happy we did. The food is excellent. Home made and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. Great value as well. You really couldn't want for anything more. All necessary covid precautions were visible with sanitiser readily available.

I have written 2 reviews on here in previous years praising this lovely little place. This review is based on the excellent service that this kitchen has provided through it's delivery option. We have had several deliveries from here in the past few weeks and the food always arrives in perfect condition and tastes delicious. This has been an invaluable service at a time when getting out isn't always possible and certainly not as easy as it was last year. I'm looking forward to trying more of their quiches, which change on a weekly basis and hope that this format will continue into the Autumn.

Pleased to see KSK back again, in their new format. We ordered a home delivery of two chicken curry pies and had a night off after months of home cooking in lockdown. The pastry was soft and buttery and the curry spices expertly married together with chicken to create a delicious, easy dinner. Looking forward to trying different flavours over the coming weeks,

My wife raves about this place, so whilst in town at lunchtime, I talk a stroll downtown see the menu. The sourdough toastie containing creamed leeks, cheese, prosciutto, kale and walnut pesto caught my eye, so order one with an Americano to take away. Whilst waiting, the array of cakes looked great, so also ordered a salted caramel brownie. The toastie was hands down the tastiest sandwich I've ever had. All the flavours worked brilliantly. As I'm writing this I'm thinking I have to have another!The coffee was also really good and the brownie delightful. Well worth a slight detour from the centre of town, I cant wait to return.

Called in for Breakfast one morning it was freshly cooked the only thing I would of like is some black pudding on the plate also we were charged £8:00 for the breakfast but on your website is stated £7:50 so that needs looking at as very misleading on prices, the cappuccino was very nice.

This delightful cafe is situated a stones throw from the cathedral in a lovely part of town. The menu features a great range of freshly made sandwiches, soups and salads alongside homemade cakes and coffee. Delicious sourdough sandwich with a chunk of bourbon tiffin was perfect. Lovely staff as well. Highly recommend a visit!

I have visited Knutsford latest restaurant on 3 occasions since it opened. First visit was on the Friday the week they opened. Food, drinks decor lovely staff friendly but we were left waiting a bit too longon a couple of occasions . But giving them another chance, I have found service brilliant so starting week blips over. I cannot recommenced it highly enough, I have had dinner, weekday lunch & Sunday lunch All good was delicious, well cooked & served really promptly. Lunch time burrito was very tasty & hot choc for a sweet treat came with a mini brownie square, perfect as we did not want a whole dessert. Roast Chicken on Sunday, was moist & tasty, huge Yorkshire pudding. Friends had Veggie butternut squash alternative, everyone said how much they had enjoyed the meal. From walking in wr we’re greeted warmly, girls waiting on us friendly & attentive. Drinks great with a good selection to choose from. Decor is upbeat & relaxed. Also toilets smelt divine with Sand & Fog candles. A brilliant Addition Ultimately I am a fan & now my 6 friends also will be returning Thank you everyone @ KSK, will e doing again very soon

We called in today on a trip through Hereford. We were greeted immediately and waited just a few minutes for a table. We ordered the English Breakfast and Chorizo Brunch. Both were really well presented and delicious. The staff, mostly young people, delivered excellent customer service and were a real credit to the establishment. A great place that we would return to without hesitation if in the city.

Definitely a go-to place if you're looking for tasty but healthy lunches. Lots of fresh salads, all with great ingredients. A range of options from chestnut rissole to quiche to sausage rolls to have alongside it. Something seasonal going on all the time. Then as if that wasn't enough their range of cakes is insane!!! It's a job to know what to have because they are all so amazing. Eat in or take away, and very reasonable prices. A small cute cafe that is welcoming. More seating upstairs if you don't spot the signs!

This little cafe does wonderful coffee along with delicious food. The sweet treats are great too, I'd recommend the Rose and pistachio mini cake bar. Once we found this place we went back each day for coffee. Don't miss it if you are in Hereford.

My daughter and I were in Hereford for a few hours of shopping. I had already clocked this place on Trip Advisor. We had brunch - Sourdough Toast with scrambled eggs, smoked salmon and avocado and lunch - Feta and red pepper quiche with an array of salads. The food was superb, the quiche was stunning just like I would make at home!

Would 100% recommend! Came for a coffee and cake while driving through Hereford - quick and friendly service, cosy and warm interior, excellent menu with vegan and gf options. Funky 80's music. The vegan banana and biscoff cupcake was slightly dry but delicious.

Superb quiche and salad with lots of choice for vegetarian and vegan diets. Service is always polite and efficient. Highly recommend the takeaway choices too.

Family group of 5 plus our dog visited on Saturday on our way home from holiday. Looking for a dog friendly cafe for breakfast and King Street Kitchen worked for us all. The full english breakfasts were lovely and I’m told the pancakes were also really good. Fabulous welcome and service.

Everything produced here is such great quality. Fantastic quiches and dishes of the day (try the sausage rolls!!) which are perfectly accompanied by a wide range of fresh salads, with different tasty ingredients that vary regularly. Follow that up with a home made sweet - this place does probably the best brownies I have EVER tasted. Take away boxes are very generous, as are the eat in meals. Honestly, if you're in town and looking for lunch this is the place to go.

Really friendly, great atmosphere, plenty of seating even on a Saturday lunch time. I come in here regularly and its great every single time. Nice coffee, and really nice breakfasts. Can recommend the pancakes!

Great place for breakfast. My wife and I frequently visit King Street Kitchen for breakfast. Main reasons we keep going back is the quality of the food and the fact all the staff are really friendly and helpful. Would recommend the veggie breakfast and the sourdough toast in particular. My wife loves the place because it’s one of the few places in Hereford that does porridge.

Quite possibly the best cafe in Hereford. Menu is fresh and wholesome with something for everyone. The quality of the food is outstanding and friendliness of staff equally so. There seems to be a real pride at what they offer, and rightly so. I can recommend their salads with quiche or a chicken sandwich with coconut mayo and chilli on granary, white, sour dough or brown. You choose. Coffee is great too with a good selection of cold drinks. Seating down and up and a few seats outside. Great on a sunny day and if you have a dog.

New addition to Whalley’s line up of restaurants and well worth a visit. I opted for the confit of duck starter which was delicious and a very generous portion. Main was the fish stew (Much fancier title on the official menu but fish stew is my terminology). Absolutely excellent with a deep fish flavoured broth. We were a party of 8 and all enjoyed their meals. Will definitely return!

Only had a takeaway lunch to eat on the cathedral green but will go back. Creative menu and well executed. We had a Mumbai toastie (with delicious minty chutney), egg mayo sandwich, and toasted Welsh barm brack. Helpful staff and speedy service. A very good find in Hereford.

We were just looking for a light lunch on a family day out and decided to try the king street Kitchen and so glad we did. We ate upstairs and all for of us chose various sandwiches or jacket potatoes from the menu. Prices were quite reasonable but the quality of the food was exceptional, everything freshly prepared and very tasty. I tried their Bacon, and Brie which I can honestly say is one of the best I've ever had. Would highly recommend this café if you are on a day out in Hereford

We called in here on a visit to Hereford recently. A very busy place but we found somewhere to sit and ordered coffee and cake. The coffee was one of the best we have ever had, and the cakes were tasty as well.

I’d actually planned to eat elsewhere but when finding that cafe shut a passerby recommended King Street Kitchen. So glad they did. The food and coffee was delicious. Fantastic service too. If I’m in Hereford again I’ll be sure to return.

As a gluten-free vegetarian I often encounter difficulties when eating out. But King Street kitchen is somewhere I can visit with friends and genuinely enjoy lunch. Sandwiches, cakes, salads and a whole load more to suit all diets and tastes.

I came here on a little solo trip on my birthday! Although the place is small it has plenty of atmosphere. I had a coffee and a slice of the coffee cake which was clearly fresh! Within minutes the cafe was full so obviously a very popular choice in the area! There were couples and also tables of families so a good place for everyone to visit! Lots of choice on the menu and dairy free milk on offer which is always a winner! Would highly recommend!

If you thought quiche was a bland and uninspiring choice for lunch, try one here! Wonderful creamy texture followed by a 'zing' as the flavour exploded from my squash and cheese variety. And coupled with interesting salads enlivened with crunchy kale and fresh mint. And all for reasonable prices. As this was my first visit, I can't comment more widely on other dishes on offer, though my companion enjoyed soup and a salted caramel brownie.

We came for some breakfast and had a sausage sandwich with a coconut milk hot chocolate. They were both really tasty and the staff are really friendly and even though king street kitchen is small it’s really cute and the decor is lovely.

This is where I always go when in Hereford for lunch. Close to the Cathedral perfect for sightseeing. The options for vegetarian, vegan, GF etc are perfect and the fresh salads are never boring.

Some people have commented about bad experiences with service....? I can not fault it, I am a new customer and have always been greeted with a smile and nothing seems to be too much trouble. The food is excellent and the ever changing weekly specials are great. Wish they would make the coronation chicken wrap a permanent addition to the menu though. A massive thumbs up from me.

Just moved into offices locally to King Street and looked forward to using this as our "go to" sandwich shop. Been in 3 times now and each time the service is rude and sullen. The sandwiches are out of ratio - i e too much bread and not enough filling but for staff to manage 2/3 visits from different members of my team without exchanging a word to them is pretty impressive.Appreciate we are all new faces and maybe not part of the regular clientele but a customer is a customer and with my team averaging a spend of probably on average £20.00 a day/lunch time I would have thought a little customer service would go a long way. We have found somewhere else to spend our money.

Was spending the day in Hereford, and as I was arriving early I needed to find somewhere for breakfast. When I looked online King Street Kitchen came up high on the list of recommended cafes in the city. I also saw that it opened at 8am, so that was very handy for me. I got there as soon as it opened to ensure I got a space, and it is clearly a popular cafe as it became busy very quickly. The full English breakfast was very tasty and the staff seemed nice, so if I'm ever in Hereford again I will definitely call in here again :)
