HBH out for lunch. On a trip back to Bromyard after many years living in Australia, we were amazed by the great food and incredible welcome from locals in The Queens Arms. An old black and white building on the High Street. Traditional English pub with meals. Beer battered fish and chips for us all, guaranteed dairy free as the chef comes out to the bar to draw the ale for cooking! Light batter and excellent fish. We found a narrow side area with just 1 table, suited us fine, as it was quiet. We will be back next year!

Ribs with homemade bbq sauce that fell away from the bone and twice cooked chips 😍...Will definitely be ordering these again. Scot and Emma go out of their way to make sure you are served with a smile and leave well fed with portion sizes.

Well well, popped in last Friday and decided to have fish and chips. We were a little cautious as had had fish and chips before in Bromyard which were a tad lacking to say the least. Superb. Light crispy batter, well seasoned and cooked to perfecion. Next time in Bromyard we will have them again at the Queens. Super. At the end of our weekend away we chose to try their Sunday lunch. Excellent.

Wonderful new restaurant in a lovely refurbished dining room at The Queens. Fabulous fish - we had Shetland mussels and scallops, halibut and a crab and haddock pasta bake. All beautifully cooked. We were also tempted by the unusual meat choices - goat curry, rabo de toro and venison. Great choice of wines too. Looking forward to going again soon.

The restaurant in the Queen’s Arms is a wonderful addition to Bromyard. It was a gastronomic experience with friendly service and ‘easy on the ear’ music. We had the crevettes followed by the crab and haddock pasta- both were fabulous in both quality and quantity. It was a perfect evening spent with special friends. Well done to all concerned on making it such a memorable evening.

Really friendly people running this pub. Nothing is too much trouble. The beer is kept well and the wine is quality. The food is startlingly good. It is beautifully cooked and served. What a find in sleepy Bromyard. We have been several times and the high standard has been maintained. No doubt that we shall return.

We had lunch here on 27th November. Wow...what quality! Who would have thought that a traditional town centre pub could offer such gourmet food? We had Venison steak (yea, I know!) c/w mushrooms and croque potatoes, all cooked to perfection....an Arbroath Smokie...there is none better in the world... c/w prawns and chips and a Burger and chips. A wide selection plates you would agree....and all were absolutely perfect. The Smokie and Burger's chips were, 3 x cooked and, quite frankly, the best I have ever tasted! To be truthful, I am normally a crispy fries man....but..Chips at the Queens Arms are better than any portion of fries. Three things stand out: 1...the Quality of the food....2...the Freshness and Flavour, and 3 ...the price...just £49 for all that! Just one final thought....if we lived in Bromyard and not in Surrey....we would go there every night and not cook at home!!

What a hidden gem for its food and drink. The meals are worthy of high class restaurant, beautifully presented and outstanding to eat. I had the veggie platter ( the sweet chilli halloumi and the home baked granary garlic bread are orgasmic). There is a menu that is the same all the time and then there are the specials. The fish dishes are to die for and so were the mussels. I’ve been here before and I will be here again. The staff are welcoming, very family friendly with a quiet area ideal if you have little ones. But it still keeps its traditional pub ‘feel’ with locals and visitors all welcome.

Excellent value and really friendly staff and customers . Very clean and comfortable place to stay and would definitely use again when in the area . Popular drinking bar downstairs so expect to hear some noise upstairs but ear plugs are provided. As long as you know this its not really a problem. I found all of the staff very friendly and helpful . Bromyard itself though quite a small town is definitely worth a visit.

Great ‘boozer’ downstairs with very good standard of accommodation upstairs. Handy parking at the back. Great location for the high street. Friendly & helpful staff. It’s a pub so not as quiet as a hotel, but it was no big deal. Only downside was ‘no-meals’, but there are shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs & takeaways next door. Would stay again.

Following refurbishment the Queens Arms is now offering B&B. There are three rooms and if they are all of the standard of Room 2 that we stayed in then they are very nice. The only downside is that none of the rooms are en suite. There are however two bathrooms on the same floor. Just remember to take a dressing gown and bolt the door when you are using them. The full English breakfast was well cooked and tasty. The beers are well kept and the staff very friendly and helpful. We'd stay there again. They do have loud music downstairs which finishes around midnight. (Fri and Sat when we stayed)
