The best restaurants serving British food in Nechells Birmingham West Midlands

Un restaurante pequeño y encantador con un personal muy agradable. La comida fue entregada en tiempo y forma y fue bonito, pero nada espectacular. El menú de bebidas también era bastante limitado. Volvería en su nuevo disfraz como la naturaleza, pero no en su actual precio ya no creo que lo merezca. Fuimos a este restaurante justo antes se cambió el nombre de la siguiente recomendación.

Very lovely bar, the menu changes weekly, friendly and welcoming atmosphere— great for going with friends and alone. The drinks were very good, my favourites were the toasted sesame colada and the adult ribena. The non alcoholic cranberry margarita was very good too. I didn’t try the pear margarita but it looks very tasty too. And unfortunately they were out of the passion fruit highball. I didn’t enjoy the shrubby-ness of the pie plant, it was not hard to drink nonetheless. If you like white wine, the pink lady would be amazing. The toasted sesame colada was like nothing I have ever tasted before, it was refreshing and smooth, sweet and aromatic. The adult ribena was sharper in taste and you could taste the alcohol more, its taste was sour and sweet and very fruity. Overall it was a very cool experience, my company particularly enjoyed the open bar aspect and how you could watch the bartender build your drink in front of you. Watching them shave the ice cube was very satisfying too. Recommend!

We have visited the Warehouse since 1976 and although not regulars due to living in London for most of the time since then we have never had a bad experience. The food has always been great. We have no problems should the menu be limited. It has been wonderful to eat at a vegetarian venue and I am very sad to hear of the closure. There have been ups and downs over the years and I'm just hoping that for Birmingham's sake someone will come to the rescue. Vegetarianism and Veganism are in vogue so what's the problem?

Truly amazing and flavourful food, service was exceptional too! Will definitely go back there soon!

Está bien, no es el mejor, el personal es decente, y la comida es en general estándar como su parrilla de mezcla normal que señala especial, volvería a visitar solo si estuviera en la zona.

Absolutely awful! I came for a few beers and a steak! The manager served me while obviously on FaceTime! I ordered a streak medium-rare, it came well done, I was told by the chef (while in her coat) that I ordered wrong and there was nothing she could do about it! Incredibly disappointed and annoyed at the level of service and also the response to an incorrect order!

My friend and I were originally booked in for Easter Sunday (£45 lunch), however, the restaurant had to cancel due to power issues. The communication around the issue was great, and we rebooked for the following week.. it was worth the wait! We both loved the food - the concepts around the dishes were novel and the flavours were fab. The service was spot on; attentive and friendly, but not overbearing. This place justified the hype I have seen over social media. Exceptional value for money. Thoroughly recommend and can't wait to come back!

I visited this shop last April while I was in town for a friend's wedding and it was such a delight! What an ingenuous idea... getting to sample tea before buying a larger quantity. A cute atmosphere to hang with girlfriends. You're even invited to bring your lunch! You're served cookies with all tea purchases.I was informed around Christmas time that the shop has closed. But now it looks like it's up and running again? New management and shop front? Omg I'll have to inform my friend in Birmingham. She sends the poor soul that is me teas. Great blend variety and quality!

La comida estaba muy bien cocinada y agradable. No estamos seguros de volver debido al extraño concepto de compartir "platos diminutos" de comida. Creo que teniendo en cuenta la ubicación (gastos generales, es decir, alquiler) y la cantidad de comida en el plato, fue una cena cara y no satisfactoria.

2025 update: excellent customer service, delightful aesthetics and excellent desserts, what more is there to say! Still, highly recommended General points Excellent location, easy access to motorways, lots of car parking and the usual Star City entertainment! Excellent customer service, friendly staff and quick turn around. The staff even allocated a space for us to queue inside even though it was so busy. This was a real relief as we have a young family. Thank you very much for your friendly professional courtesy. The restaurant was clean, well stocked organised and COVID aware. Excellent menu, professional, delicious and sensible price. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Zaid who was our waiter, he patiently explained everything to us, really bonded with the children and was an absolute pleasure. Thank you very very much, hope to see you soon. Highly recommended to all.

Regularly, this happens that the courier can’t find me. I am disabled but I have to open the front door as they have no clue of where I actually live. It’s quite simple but I don’t want to go through that again. Food is four star.
