This was our first time here, It was a beautiful and quiet place to stay. All the staff were very nice and helpful .The cabin was very clean and spacious with some nice little touches sush as the robes and a starter pack and even a pint of milk in the fridge. The hot tub was an added bonus. We loved it so much we have booked to go back next year. Would Recommend.

Just not for us - went by others reviews but things have obviously changed. Pub is in a small village down very narrow lanes. Parking is available with a new overflow area but up a steep slope. The garden is being developed, which looked good. Room was ok, good bed but overall tired. Bed was however covered in horrible fleece blankets. The bathroom smelt awful and had visible damp. Shower was also dirty. There are very steep stairs to room and there is a strong smell of damp dog. Decided to have a meal in the pub again based on others reviews but we couldnāt eat it due to too much salt, both meals were inedible. We were told there was a new chef. The Landlord is super friendly and he said he took over recently from the owners. Itās a shame our visit didnāt live up to the expectations but we are just being honest.

Stayed in the B&B for 2 nights. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was very good. A few choices of cooked and cereal, fruit, yoghurt etcā¦ Rooms were simple, but clean and comfortable. All you need. Location is great. A few steps into town, and a short walk to lovely woodlands etc. 5 minute drive and you are on Dartmoor. Highly recommend staying here. Price is very reasonable too.

Lucky me coming across this gem. A quiet village.stunning scenery. Lovely welcome. Excellent bacon sandwich. Better than most I have consumed in Oxfordshire. In fact... the best. Sat outside . Village life. Lovely. Wonderful. Yum yum yum.š

Proper pub! Need I say more? Yes, Willow was great. I loved her philosophy on what a pub should offer, and I loved the Crew at the table which I was invited to join. Willow is reviving the lost art of traditional English pub hospitality. Single- handedly as far as I can see! Canāt wait to return. Andy

Nice country pub with food. The pate starter I had was small and basic, but in fairness very tasty. I had muscle linguine as a main that was served in a frightening hot bowl that continued to cook and dry out the food. The pasta was served with a heap of parmesan on the top which was not mentioned on the menu and made it very cheesy. Friendly service but the chef is best kept in the kitchen and not customer facing. Worth a visit if you're in the area.

Staying in a small guest house stood the corner, on the for breakfast and stumbled across this cafe. Food was freshly made, fresh cakes and delicious. Staff were super friendly and welcoming, so much so that e returned the next day before going home. We will most definitely return next time we are in Plymouth.

We found this little tea room by a search, didn't know what it was like...very surprised, lovely scones, quite little place and very warm welcome by the staff. Get some cakes to go too! As they looked so GOOD. What a gem, we don't make a habit of leaving reviews, but we thought we should. The couple from Norfolkš
