Eden Cafe, Clifton in Bristol, City of

We travelled over from Bath to try this place and were not disappointed. We had the 'egg' and cress sandwiches which were scrummy and full of flavour. We then tried a cream tea, both the scone and cream were fantastic. I believe they are going to sell the cream as a standalone item, it's that good. We have had a couple of cream teas in Bath recently including the pump rooms and in my opinion, the one at the Eden Cafe is better. We will be making a return trip with our daughter later this year.

We did the vegan afternoon tea here and loved it! The sandwiches and biscuits were all so delicious and the the tea was excellent as well. A great experience!

Had a brilliant afternoon tea using a virgin experience day voucher that was gifted to me. The restaurant was cosy, but managed to just about make space for the two of us and the buggy for our baby. There is a delicious array of sandwiches, sweet treats including an amazing lemon meringue pie, and of course scones. Made the journey from London and at 100% recommend and visit again if we’re in the area.

Fabulous vegan cafe and best afternoon tea I’ve tasted. Amazing ‘egg’ & cress sandwich (from a non-vegan who loves an egg sandwich) & incredible lemon meringue tartlet, in fact all the food tasted delicious & beautifully presented. Booked the Afternoon Tea at the Eden Cafe. My daughter and I wanted to experience an English Tea during our trip, and also wanted to make sure that it was all Vegan. The tea service was perfect. I especially enjoyed the "Egg" and Cress sandwich. The desserts were delish, and of course the tea using fresh tea leaves was very good. The service was good, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a Vegan Afternoon Tea.

Small and friendly cafe with lovely Vegan food. Visited for lunch and can thoroughly recommend the Burritos and Nourish bowl. The vegan prawns were amazing and the best iced lemon and peach tea. Fairly priced and well worth a visit.

My first ever visit to a vegan eatery! I returned several times and loved it. The Tropical and Very Berry smoothies were both equally refreshing and delicious on hot afternoons. The flat white oat and almond coffees were a great discovery and much easier to digest than the usual milk/ coffee mix! I was floored by the Berry cheesecake.. only the coffee colour of the filling gave it away. The texture and taste were of normal cheese cake! Before leaving Bristol, I dropped by for a fragrant Rose and Cardamom Elixir, poetically sprinkled with crushed rose petals and took a delicious "fetta", olive and crudites wrap with me for lunch on the train, with light, gluten free almond doughnuts for dessert. The friendly, welcoming staff and pleasant ambiance and decor make Eden Cafe a great go-to oasis for a rest from exploring Bristol and vibrant Clifton Village!

Absolutely lovely spot for vegan afternoon tea. My partner and I had afternoon tea here for our anniversary and it honestly couldn’t have been better. Cracking food, amazing service, lovely environment. We would absolutely recommend visiting, whether you’re vegan or not!

Really lovely little cafe. All vegan. The man that served us (maybe the owner) couldn’t do enough. He was so welcoming and accommodating without being over the top. We had the afternoon tea. It was really good especially the coronation chickpea toasted sandwich. The clotted cream was also the best vegan version I’ve had yet. Just divine.

We were really looking forward to our visit, with high expectations due to the reviews. We ordered food, they came over double checked what we had, then changed our order and didn’t communicate this. Seating was awkward and cramped, we could hardly move. Priority was absolutely given to afternoon tea customers, it was hard to get the staff attention otherwise. Sadly, we won’t visit again.

Loved the food here on a previous visit although parking restrictions s put us off we were in the area so called for lunch. I had a chickpea curry sandwhich that left me very underwhelmed. I pulled the bread a part and there were 3 chickpeas in half a sandwhich, not even mashed which was poor. Other food and the cake we had was good though.

Whether you’re vegan or not we highly recommend Eden Cafe. The food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere calm and unhurried and the staff attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. I am so glad we found this lovely cafe and will certainly be back.

A smart, stylish 100% vegan cafe, what's not to like? We've been for breakfast and afternoon tea and both times the food was fantastic. Polite and friendly staff make you feel welcome and even the option for outside seating on fine days. A little on the pricey side but would still go back time and time again.

Honestly the best vegan afternoon tea I've ever had. The coronation chickpea is absolutely incredible. And the vegan scones you could honestly not tell the difference. Lovely friendly service and would not hesitate to return.

I wanted to love this place but unfortunately that was not the case. My sister just picked her wedding dress and we were all excited. I booked this as a surprise but wish we went elsewhere. The young man that served us at the end was so lovely but the lady you welcomed us made us feel uncomfortable as there was a misunderstanding with the booking. I felt uncomfortable asking for coffees. The afternoon tea was mainly cake. Half a toastie and a tiny prawn cocktail then numerous cakes. Overall underwhelmed. The cakes were absolutely delicious.

Stunning food, absolute gem of a cafe in Clifton. Will return for more. A must for vegans all over. Range of taste and flavours are exceptional.

It was my first time here and I got the banoffee smoothie bowl to go. The interiors were gorgeous and the person on the till was so lovely, with super quick service. The smoothie bowl was ~unreal~ I would highly recommend and will be back!
