The oysters were amazing and the best fish and chips in Bristol. Service super good all staff very attentive they even gifted my son with a shells and extra chocolate. Fair price for good quality food. Nice atmosphere. Will come back.

Best fish and chips I've ever had.

A full restaurant at lunch and still good service. Food was decent and the tartar sauce was so rich and tasty honestly they should sell it to the public in the supermarkets. Definitely stands next to salt and malt nicely for a high end chippy experience and my next visit I'll try the grill menu. Oh yeah the mussels are chunky!

Delicious fresh fish and chips in a lightweight batter. Lovely ambiance and nice views of the harbour. Excellent lunch menu price wise, book ahead as busy from the minute they open. Speedy service, friendly staff who very kindly wrote a birthday card for the birthday member of the group, nice touch. Note: the lunch menu has increased in price to £14.50 but this is definitely still fair and good value considering the quality, portion size and you get a mug of tea with it!

We stayed at Noah's last week. The place is under a bridge and the support pillars are visible from the table. It's not a pretty sight! The food is of excellent quality. Especially the Fish and Chips

I went here as an introduction and had a very delicious meal. Restaurants in the UK are usually expensive, but the lunch menu here was reasonably priced. I was really satisfied with the taste It took a while for the food to come out after ordering, and I visited after making a reservation during lunch time. Two of us ordered three types of lunch menu. The fish and chips were fresh and the sauce was so fresh and refreshing that I wanted to keep eating it. The mussel dish was also perfect. I would like to visit again next time

Second time here and it didn't disappoint! It is simple but lovely. The decor is clean and modern. It actually is built like the shape of the boat and sits under the bridge. The Fish and chips are really good, I really liked the starters too. My partner had grilled hake which was really yummy too. Kids options available and they give them a little something to draw with.

This is an excellent seafood restaurant off the beaten path and set under a bridge. It looks very understated on the outside, but the vibe and atmosphere is great inside. Average price for a main is around £25 but the portions are large and food quality is excellent. I ordered a lunch special which was great value. They tell you it is a smaller portion vs the main but the difference was marginal. Shame they were inflexible about changing the tea for a coffee in the lunch special (coffee can’t be that much more expensive?). Service was great and the servers were warm and well-trained.

Amazing cuts of fish, super fresh and tasty! All our main meals were great. My wife and I don’t eat dairy and when we asked about if there were any desserts we could eat we had the response ‘I don’t think so’ from the waitress…so I asked for her to check. Turns out there were not any we could eat so a bit disappointing in this day and age.

Lovely restaurant & delicious food. A great take on a fish n chips - so much more. We enjoyed the scallops to start & roasted beetroot & goats cheese side with our cod & chips. Really lovely service & ambience.

Excellent, great position by the river

We were stuck in traffic and arrived late, the staff did their best to help. It was on the more expensive side but the service was great and I liked the Cornish sole. The staff were friendly but not over attentive and there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant.

Food was delicious and great value for the price (lunch menu). The service was friendly though really slow and had a lot of room for improvement. Was seated immediately but waited for 10 minutes before I got to order as the server seemed to have forgotten about me. Nevertheless, definitely a good spot for lunch if you’re not on a hurry.

We actually had the lunchtime special. Fantastic value for money in a harboursude location. Beautiful fish and chips, nice bottle of wine and a cup of tea!

I'd been here before for the lunchtime fish and chips and wasn't that impressed. But the meal I had the other day was perfect, I had the John dory and others at the table had the ray wing. Service was spot on and I hope to eat here again soon.

Some of the best seafood I've had. I was lucky enough to be invited to a dinner here for an event and it really was wonderful food and service.

Wonderful experience. Can see why they won a place in the award for fish & chips as it’s possibly the nicest I’ve had. Adored the tartare sauce! Everything was beautifully cooked and presented, and came out very quickly. The place has a lovely wooden interior, I felt very relaxed there. Polite and attentive staff. Saturday lunch deal is a real winner! And it’s an interesting location to go for a stroll. Minor points for improvement to go with the attention to detail across board ~ some acoustic dampening as sharp sounds were really amplified by the space. And for the wait staff to speak more clearly (though with the acoustics sorted out that might not be an issue!) I hope to be back :-)

Fantastic meal in very friendly surroundings. The fish was the freshest imaginable- absolutely delicious and great value. I managed to lose a glove while leaving, and after ringing the following day, Maren first said that nothing had been handed in, but then she noticed a black shape on the road outside. She went outside and rescued it for me - thanks again Maren and thanks all.

Lovely location - especially on a sunny day. Amazing value for money on the lunch deal - we started eating the fish and chips so fast I didn’t even take a photo! Warm service, delicious food and excellent value! Would return 100%! Dog friendly too which is always appreciated!

Attended for dinner on a busy Friday evening. Whilst the food was of excellent quality, well cooked with great flavours, the overall experience was let down by the service. No criticism of any one individual, but a lack of waiting staff in general meant it was difficult to get service at times. Management could do with more staff at busy times. Credit to the chefs however.

I had a fantastic time at Noah's! The service was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made us feel right at home. The food was spot-on – everything was cooked perfectly and super fresh, no complaints at all. Plus, the prices were really reasonable for the quality. Definitely planning to come back soon! Highly recommend!

We give 5 stars, but I'll start by saying that it wasn't what we went for, but there we found out that the daily offer depends on the fresh goods available at the fish market in the morning, the offer of the day can be found on my Instagram. The food is fresh due to the aforementioned procurement, and the service was impeccable.

An Exceptional Lunch Experience Last Monday, my wife and I visited this restaurant for lunch, and we were immediately captivated by the stunning views. The ambiance was pleasant and inviting, even though the restaurant was quite busy. Fortunately, we had made a reservation, ensuring a smooth dining experience. I ordered the fish and chips, which were absolutely delightful—the batter was crispy, the fish was tender and fresh, and the fries were golden and perfectly cooked. My wife chose the breaded fish cake with chips, which had a wonderfully crunchy exterior and a soft, flavorful inside with a hint of herbs. The service was excellent, with polite and attentive staff who made us feel welcome. Overall, the combination of great food, beautiful surroundings, and outstanding service made this a perfect dining experience. I would definitely give it a full rating!

Very nice staff.. good service . I ended up going twice in 2 days so yummy . And they change up the £12.95 lunch menu . Comes with a cuppa too.. can’t beat it in my opinion . But I would book lunchtimes it’s understandably very busy.

We arrive early so we’re worried as it looked busy we may have had to wait but this was not the case and we were greeted by a lovely waitress who said it wasn’t a problem and we were sat straight away the wine selection is amazing and we treated ourselves to a glass of rose and it was delicious we then had our starters I had the cod croquettes and my friend had the muscles and they were incredible we wanted to lick the plates. I then had the sole and my friend had the ray the waitress very helpfully explained how to eat the ray as we weren’t sure and we had chips with it and straight away we decided it was the best food we had had in Bristol so far we then had deserts I had ice cream and my friend had the stick toffe and it was incredible and the locally sorced coffe was one of the best I’ve ever had. Overall it’s a must go for Bristol and it’s some of the best fish I’ve ever had.

This is a lovely hidden treasure in Bristol. The food was good and the service was brilliant. They even produced a last minute birthday dessert for us. We will be visiting again.

We went here for Christmas eve, but I have eaten here before. It is by far the best fish restaurant I have been to and would definitely recommend it.

Absolutely good food. Very nice kids cod bites portion. Amazing scallops. If you are ever there try them as starters.Of course fish and chips lived up to it's name. Star of the main show for me was the divine curry sauce. Will be back. Staff and service was on the spot. Try and book as we saw a lot of walk-ins turned away(could be friendlier while doing this)

Lovely place, delicious food! Used to be a Hotwells local so it's nice to see a good restaurant like this, ate so much fish. The mixed platter was lovely, so much great choice and I think can't go wrong with anything on the menu. So tasty we kept going for dessert and coffee, all a real treat. The restaurant is cosy and nice, great value, efficient and pleasant staff. Nicest meal out for ages

Came today for lunch. Short review: amazing, 10/10. Long review: Noah's sits in a strange place under a bridge, it used to be a truck drivers' pub I think. The outside of the restaurant looks great, like an arc (duh!) with round windows. Inside is very well decorated too, wooden panels, dimmed lights. Christmas tree in the middle! Cozy seats, not too many tables so it doesn't feel too cramped. It gets super busy when they serve lunch menu - book a table!!! We went for a classic lunch option - fish and chips for £12.95. De-li-cious! Very thin airy batter, flaky fish, good mushy peas and a lovely tartar sauce in a shell. Chips aren't greasy and it all comes with a mug of tea. Staff is polite and the service is quick for a lunchtime. Will surely come again 😝

Delish...we went a little bid and and ordered way too much as the menu sounded so fantastic. My better half had the fish n chips and said quote 'the batter is like crispy air'..sums up how wonderful it was..plus who would have thought of pairing crab with a crumpet.. genius

Really nice little restaurant, great use of space under the flyover. The service was great, the food was tasty and the set lunch is very affordable. 4 hours free parking in the car park opposite on Sundays.

Superb seafood restaurant in relaxed harbour side setting. Really good value - £50 a head for three courses and a bottle of wine and coffee. Cooking fantastic, and friendly service. Tuna belly confit, grilled sole, excellent chocolate mousse. Lock keepers lunch of fish and chips at £13 a steal.

We were a large booking - 18 of us and this was no problem for the restaurant. Staff were fab and food was served quickly to all and tasted amazing! There was also no need to have a set menu or anything given size of the group which was welcomed! Would definitely recommend!

We were able to reserve a table at short notice. The food was great and for the children there was a coloring book and excellent children's fish and chips. We would have liked to come back again, but we couldn't get a table.

Beautiful restaurant, really interesting views and atmosphere. Service is excellent. Food is OK. Nothing horrible, nothing WOW. A simple case, of too much cooking. Save some fuel and don't overcook fish. We had stranded battered Cod and Chips. Perfect quantity but dry. I also had Mediterranean Prawns, garlic butter, and bread roll. The roll was beautiful, the prawns over cooked, sent back. Offered scallops as a replacement. Sorry again over cooked.. Plus with the coral despite asking not to include the coral. That's just my taste.. The scallops are obviously not bought whole and put together with frozen meats and shells from wherever. Loved the restaurant and I would go back. It's cheap, total with vino £63. I write reviews all day long. It's worth it everyday, shame it's not for the food. Charge more, increase quality and save the fuel bills, cook it less. Stop reheating battered fish. I know you'll say something different, I do this for a living. Not with this name.

Took our french friends there for Fish and Chips. First time at Noah’s last night and as always had our fingers crossed when we go for the first time to a restaurant. No need however! It was delicious; the fish was very fresh and cooked perfectly, the batter was light and crisp with excellent chips and mushy peas. I have been eating fish and chips in the UK for 60 years and this is the first that I did not ask for ketchup to with it because it tasted so good! Truly the finest that I have ever eaten, everyone loved the food. The service from Martha and her team was excellent and I even got to meet little Noah (son of the owner-chef who had popped in with his mother and baby sibling to say goodnight to dad 😀) I then had a lovely pot of tea-which of course is the drink of choice to go with. Price point good and their lunchtime deal is very good value for those on a budget.

Famous for the award-winning fish and chips, but actually not limited to that. They really understand how to keep the original taste of seafood (that’s the correct way for cooking fresh things). In addition, every single mussel is carefully cleaned, which you can rarely experienced in other places. Highly recommend the mixed shellfish as starter. Lunch is reasonably affordable. But make sure to book in advance!

Honestly, such a worth while place to go! My partner and I went for dinner on my birthday and I had the best experience. Not only was the food divine, but the service was next level! A massive shout out to Emma, our server, who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming! I will be recommending this place to everyone I know!

Visited here for the 1st time after flying from/to Bristol and were lucky to get a last-minute reservation. Everything about Noah's were excellent, from the waiting staff to the food and atmosphere. Service were efficient and very friendly. Not the cheapest place to eat but well worth it. If you love your seafood, I would highly recommend Noah's.

Three of us turned up on Sunday at 12:15 having not booked, the manager greeted us said they were fully booked but then scanned the bookings and said she could squeeze us in-between two reservations if we could be out by 1;30. We were delighted, accepted her offer and were shown to a table, we had the lunchtime special which was served promptly and was delicious. I cannot recommend the service & food highly enough we will certainly be back....

Delicious meal with my daughter. I chose here after reading a review in a newspaper. I had the tuna toast then the monkfish, she had fish and chips (with curry sauce) then sticky toffee pudding. The food was excellent. The decor / vibe beautiful and service friendly. Fantastic spot with view of the river and lovely harbour side walk or ferry ride to and from the city centre. We walked out on one side then planned to walk on the other bank back but the 4pm ferry from the Cottage Inn arrived so we hopped on. Just perfect after such a wonderful lunch.

Spotted a review in the paper and booked a visit to Bristol to try. Well worth the effort. Easy online booking which was needed even on a wet Tuesday night. A good choice of fish on the menu but we both went for the mixed fish. Perfectly cooked and served with hand cut chips. A couple of starters and bottle of decent wine the bill was just over £80. Great value for such good quality.
