Good quality food, generous portions, excellent service, nice view over Cumberland basin, well worthy of five stars.

To quote my mother "lovely staff, atmosphere, service and food" the service was attentive and polite and the fish melted in your mouth.

Love the cozy vibe and fresh seafood, would definitely go again. 5 star for the cuttlefish appetizer, fried cod with mushy peas!

Excellent food, great service, lovely decor, good wine. We Highly recommend Noah’s Every morsel was to die for!

Very good for lunch, although because it was also very busy the service was a little slow, but not worthy of complaint. Staff very welcoming and I would definitely book your table if going for weekend lunch!

Had a really good late lunch at Noah's. Friendly staff and very fresh fish. Good atmosphere. You will almost certainly need to book in advance as the restaurant is rightly popular. Need to book a limited slot , but there was plenty of time as service is prompt. Their fish and chips main course is good value and beautifully cooked. Scallops also very tasty. I will go back to try some of the fancier fare.

I heard great things about Noah's so me and my family went for an early dinner on Tuesday 9th April. We had mussels/sardines on toast/scampi starters which were all delicious and well portioned (although I think the mussels could have come with a slice of bread to soak up the delicious garlic butter sauce it came with!) We all had the fish and chips as our main which came with a glass of wine...and I got to say this really did love up to the hype! We all agreed the chips were "proper decent chips", batter was light, crispy and perfection and the tartare sauce was simply glorious! (We did have a little laugh about the parsley decoration being perhaps a little too excessive but that's the only critique we could find!). As tempted as we were for dessert we were just the right amount of full so we decided to skip it this time but we will definitely be trying it next time we visit! The atmosphere was very pleasant and the staff were lovely and friendly. Highly recommend! P.s. I'm definitely going to try the seafood platter next time, I saw another table order it and I was so envious!

Very good sea food . I’d recommend the monkfish scampi , 6 big pieces of monkfish cooked in light tempura batter . Also as a main, there was a special of fab sole with a black butter sauce with capers Both items really nicely cooked . The restaurant is primarily sea food but there was a chicken main dish on the menu . Mostly it’s cod, haddock or hake , deep fried with sides of home made chips and mushy peas Personally the specials were best for me , the sole was top notch and very well priced Well worth a visit

Great restaurant, lots of choice on the menu. The starters (deep fried prawns) were delicious, followed by a great fish and chips and fishcake for mains. Desserts were the best, sticky toffee pudding was amazing! Will definitely revisit

We had a table of 8 on a Saturday evening. We had the most amazing night. The food was great. We had gluten free allergies in our party and the staff made this easy with loads of options. The quality of the produce was first class. The waiter brought out a cut of fish to us uncooked and explained all about it with great knowledge. (Obs I ordered this as couldn't resist ) would highly recommend noahs first class restaurant 👌

Lovely restaurant and superb fish menu... cooked and presented to perfection. My experience was a relatively quiet time but ambience was pleasing and service was explanatory and very friendly. I will go back again to explore more of the varied menu.

We were looking for a great fish and chips place, and this was absolutely delicious! The scallops as a starter are a must, as were the fish croquettes. We had a cod and a haddock in their batter, which was light, crispy, and flavourful, also best mushy peas I’ve had in a while. Highly recommend it! Good selection of wines as well!

I took my 81 year old mother here for mothers day and we both agreed this was the best fish n chip either of us had ever had. The fish was perfect, the chips too. Never had mushy peas before but they were lovely! Not sure if they were the best ever as I've never had them before but the tartar was the best I've ever had. Large portions too. We will be back for more, that's for sure. Very good value for money.

Excellent all round. We started with creamy oysters which were as good as we have had anywhere else. These were served alongside large juicy prawns which were washed down with a delicious Lady A Rosé. This was followed by a generous melt in the mouth haddock fish which had the softest juicy flakes I think I have ever eaten. It was covered in a delicate golden light batter, served with tasty chips, mushy peas and homemade tartar sauce. The staff were warm and caring, and the view was lovely, looking out over the river. I recommend this place to anyone with penchant for great quality seafood.

We had a great family lunch, all the fish dishes were fantastic starters and mains, sticky toffee pudding was great and nice coffee too. Laid back atmosphere, the girls serving were polite and efficient. They even allow well behaved dogs so you don’t have to leave your furry friend at home!

We had lovely dinner at Noah's. Everything was so fresh and seasoned to perfection. I had best tasting muscles. Also I am intolerant to gluten and I have been given gluten free batter for my fish and chips. Which was delicious.We'll definitely be back.

Absolutely amazing. Just what Bristol is crying out for a really good informal seafood restaurant. Booked this with trepidation as fish can be hit and miss. This all disappeared when we were greeted by Ben who was not only knowledgeable about our food but very friendly and made us feel so welcome. My David Lloyd gym friends and I had fish and chips lunch at Noah’s for the first time after our class. The food was good value for the lunch special - the fish was tasty, the batter light and both fish and chips not oily - perfect for lunch with the accompanying mug of Yorkshire tea!

Terrific food, great service and a brilliant location - we were introduced by friends who live in Bristol and we loved it. We'll definitely be back, next time we're down there!

Very nice place and good fish. The only bad thing is that there is no access for wheelchairs or baby strollers.

Food, service and almost everything top class wonderful but the music? At lunch I guess 75% of diners are over 60, many with hearing aids. If you really think we crumbling oldies need music, please DON'T broadcast heavy beat dance stuff. What should have been a nice break was a bit of a nightmare

During a walk around the Bristol Docks we stumbled across Noah's,and what a find! The staff were warm and welcoming and the lunch special of fish chips and mushy peas was delicious and very reasonably priced for a sit down meal. The menu also had more sophisticated choices and the prices were very competitive. We will definitely return here with friends and family for an evening meal. Thank you to all the team for making it such an enjoyable lunch and a great choice of music!

Delicious food and fantastic service. My friend and I booked to visit Noah's on a Friday lunch time. Friendly service start to finish. We decided to share all of of the starters and the fish and chips. 10/10, accompanied with a crisp cold bottle of white or two what an amazing lunch. Raised one issue which was handled very professionally start to finish and as result of the overall experience we will both definitely return and next with with our partners.

This place has got it nailed. Stunning fish and a really chilled ambience. Service was impeccable and we were made to feel really looked after. We opted for a few starters, the prawns were some of the best we’ve had. For main, we shared the battered haddock and the sole. WOW. It was a truly delicious meal and we cannot wait to come back.

Just picked up take-away cod & chips x2 as we are staying at the C&M club about 400 yds up the road on the Quay. Fish was the best we have had for a long time, soft and very fresh. Chips were great & such a kind waitress who handed me dinner when I collected. Thank you so much, great food & we hope you continue your business for many years to come.

Best fish and seafood in Bristol

Best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time! Came here as a group of 7 before the rugby at Ashton Gate. Food was absolutely fantastic - batter was beautifully light and the fish was perfectly cooked. The Madras curry sauce was also a highlight. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and the staff were really friendly. Overall, a fantastic meal and wouldn’t hesitate to go back!

The grill fish is lovely and fresh, worth the money spent. Our waiter was quite young, but you can tell he was making an effort to make sure we were well looked after all night. I take away one star as my beer wasn't tasting quite right. It came open and half of it in the glass which was fine but I have the feeling that it was open 10mins before serving as it wasn't fizzy at all. Overall very pleasant and relaxed night, we will visit again.

Lovely seafood restaurant in a quirky location! Noah's food is amazing, I have eaten in the restaurant and had a takeaway. The service is impeccable and the staff cannot do enough to help you. On my last visit, one of our group was gluten free and the server was extremely knowledgeable with plenty of options and GF tweaks that the kitchen was able to make to ensure she had a wide range of options on the menu. The takeaway is brilliant value for money, with lemon and tartare sauce making the meal as good as if you were eating in the restaurant! The atmosphere is calm and relaxed with the added bonus of being dog friendly!!

Wow wow wow!!!booked for an early dinner on Friday , a friend had told us how incredible the food was but honestly … it’s the best fish restaurant I have been to in decades …. The oysters , so perfect , so fresh …. The cod , chips mushy peas curry sauce , cooked perfectly, every element dancing on the plate . The service absolutely top tier too , thank you Noah , see you again very soon!!

This is a great restaurant. We had the Lock Keeper’s Lunch which is really good value. The food and service is excellent, as is the location if you fancy a walk around the docks.

Wow, what a gem, excellent and fresh fish

Unusual location next to the river, great views during the the day even of the suspension bridge. Loads of parking available making it easy. Loads of choice on the menu, went for the Fish and Chips, which was very nice. All the meals were great.

Our 1st visit to Noah's on Christmas Eve taking our mums for lunch. The restaurant has had a great makeover, and the manager on duty was very friendly and welcoming. We had one of the group who required Gluten Free, and this was no problem at all to accommodate. The staff are friendly and polite. We had a great meal, and it's clear to see why they have won so many awards! Try it, you won't regret it.

Food and service was excellent. I had the mussels for starters - best mussels Ive had. We had the Lock Keepers Lunch - fish and chips which was excellent and the portion was much bigger than expected. We will definitely be returning.

This was an impulse lunch. We had the Lockkeeper’s Lunch of fish & chips with a mug of Yorkshire tea. I also had a bottle of Bath Gem Amber. It was better than fish and chips I could remember. The service was excellent. Very comfortable. Highly recommended.
