Stopped in on 13/12/24 am and got one of the best breakfast sandwiches I've ever had. Really great spot and awesome service.

Fresh and delicious food cooked to order

Travelling through Bristol in August I was looking for some lunch, found Princes Pantry on Google maps and decided to give it a go. I won't forget their halloumi burger in a long time. It was one of the biggest, naughtiest, lushest, most succulent, delicious creations I've ever sunk my teeth into, and very reasonably priced. The food and banter are clearly in high demand locally too. Regulars came and collected orders while the two lovely, friendly ladies who seemed to run the place expertly prepared my burger. It was well well worth the short wait and I will certainly come here again next time I'm in Bristol. Thank you!

Visited on the weekend of harbour festival with my little boy! Very pleased with my food and the customer service. I had a Texmex burger and it was delicious 10/10!! 2 lovely welcoming staff which gave a great atmosphere to the rest of the crowd! Thanks princes pantree for a great visit .

Their bacon burger just hit different. I’m not keen on burgers however this burger is the best burger I’ve ever tasted.

Whacking up your prices for regulars who support you day to day just because it's Harbourside Festival when you can expect to make more money anyway due to the increased footfall is just a ripoff and emblematic of ripoff Britain. I'll never eat there again!

Popped in as I was passing by and was pleasantly surprised and impressed with the food and service. I had a sausage and egg roll which was delicious and larger than expected, I also had a latte which was freshly made. Superb!! Great food and great friendly service! Recommended!

Right on the water. A small kiosk with sandwiches and burgers at good prices. You can sit outside. The cheeseburger I had was really good. Absolute recommendation.

Food is of average quality, pricing is expensive. Burgess don't come with any chips or even the choice of chips at all despite other images showing chips. Food looks nice but not worth the price at all.

Excellent spot for breakfast after a late night, staff are a good laugh

The weeks of wet and dismal weather finally cleared away for the most part today. So, we decided to get-out on this bank holiday Saturday afternoon and take a walk in, what was, some most welcome sunshine. Having bussed-in, our walk in the centre of Bristol started at the M3 bus stop at Cabot Circus, then through to Castle Park; crossing over the floating harbour canal via Castle Bridge. We continued to Bristol Bridge and then along Baldwin Street onto the City Centre, and thence to the Watershed. From there we walked through the Lloyds Amphitheatre, then onto and around the fantastic harbourside path in an anticlockwise direction. We did the entire circuit following as much of the waterside as possible; but the continuing works at Underfall Yard and Brunel Square did frustrate our efforts. After a good 4 miles of walking we began to feel the need for an invigorating drink, and decided to look for a café for a refreshing cup of tea. There are many café’s in this area, but we wanted somewhere where we could sit outside; thus taking advantage of the remaining afternoon sunshine, and this café conveniently popped into our view. The café servery is located within a very small brick-built building at the city end of the Prince Street (swing) Bridge. From this busy little café comes an impressive variety of take-away snacks plus hot and cold drinks. There is a few table and chair sets scattered around outside the front entrance, and to the right-hand side of the building: we chose one and I went inside to order two teas. I was pleased with the kindly smiles, and also to see that reasonably good-quality ‘Tetley’ branded tea-bags were being used. Everything in this cafe is freshly prepared; the toasties looked very good. I did however resist the temptation to order food; as we were planning a full meal at home that evening: but definitely another time. I was able to add my own milk: that is certainly a good thing as there seems to be a tendency, in a lot of take-out serveries, to over-milk tea and coffee. The tea was hot and refreshing; and costing £2 each they ‘did-us-well’. We sat awhile, and then walked the remaining half mile to the bus stop to head off home.

Two freshly cooked toasties (tuna and ham/cheese) - hot and delicious with two lovely coffees to go with them (much better than the coffees we had earlier at The Watershed). Very friendly guys who were running this little cafe. Good value for money.

Travelling from Canada, and some colleagues brought me one of their rolls. After that I was back everyday. Incredibly friendly staff, the kitchen is spotless, and of course the food was fantastic. Will make a point of coming here whenever I'm back in Bristol!

16 years ago I used to live 100 metres down the road and it was reliable for greasy breakfasts and burgers when needed. It still is... I really think this place is the secret of Bristol city centre.. from the outside it's a dingy burger kisok... And largely it's the same inside... But the burgers are fantastic...

such a hidden gem if you’re by Harbourside! despite the humble exterior, this place is a must for a breakfast/lunch on the go. we had the Halloumi burger which was packed with fried egg, avocado and a hash brown!! unreal and only £5.80. the guy serving us was also lovely, letting us watch the football whilst we waited for our delicious burgers. genuinely haven’t stopped thinking about how tasty our lunch was all day.

Quick bite to eat before a day of uni, incredible value for money and the guys are always super lovely & helpful. Yum!

Stopped here on a recent trip to Bristol, really glad I did. Had burger and chips, proper burger pattie with real cheese on top and for only £8 a real bargain. Will be stopping here again in the future.

My and my friend are regular visitors of Princes pantry. I order the veggie breakfast bap and it’s delicious, generous portions too. It’s a really nice location with nice outside seating by the harbour. Perfect hangover cure in the sun

I'm only leaving this review because I hope the owner sees it and gives the guy who served me some training in hospitality - because he didn't give a sh!t. This is the second time in a row he has served me and got the order wrong. This time I ordered a BLT with hash browns. He got forgot the hash browns. Last time he forgot the lettuce. I was the only person there so there is no reason to get it wrong. He also gave me just one thin slice of tomato - and it was the end with the root on - the part you normally throw away. To give me that part of the tomato and nothing else shows that he doesn't give a crap about this business or the customers. The fact this was prime time in the morning before work on the most beautiful day of the year so far, with hundreds of people walking past and not a single person was here, gives the impression it has gone down hill. I'll give it another go at some point because I used to love this place but not for a while. Maybe the signage and chairs inside the takeaway part might have been better set up outside on such a glorious day - just another thought. He was probably too lazy though. Right or wrong that's just the impression you get from this bloke. Here's hoping it gets back to its amazing best.

This gem of a place was our go to place to grab a bit of breakfast / brunch before we headed out for the day. Lovely breakfast rolls and plenty of filling at a great price.

Cheerful little outlet where we had a couple of coffees which were ok, a reasonable sandwich and a bottle of flavoured water in an interesting location watching the swing bridge and not too pricy.

Found this place while setting off to explore Bristol early morning. Nice outdoor seating overlooking boats. I ordered a sausage bap. Decent size but unfortunately a taste of burn fat. Coffee was good though

On a nice sunny day all you need is a bacon or sausage bap and a great cup of tea for breakfast. Get yourself down to this little hut and sit outside and watch the world go by. Its good basic food cooked well.

5 years since we last visited Bristol and we headed straight for Princes Pantry again. So pleased it's still producing the most succulent and tasty burgers. A great flat white too. Great to see it still thriving. Highly recommended.

Was a busy Saturday, we waited patiently in que. 2 men serving including owner. He chatted to one woman only who selfishly stayed in side while they cooked. (Its a 1 in and 1 out) while they were cooking her food. Owner ignored everyone waiting outside and simply made his mates food, chatted to her and and left!??? still leaving said woman inside and a huge que. We must have waited 35 to 40 minutes!! 1. She should have been asked to wait outside, so they could have served others in meantime. 2. Owner talking about setting up a second pantry in Bedminster, but with such disregard for those waiting on this occasion, and most having left, along with fact, him leaving his worker on his own, is some of the worst customer service iv ever seen. 3. People left in disgust. We waited stupidly and when we did finally get to order, we had to wait as another order had been forgotten and had to be done first!? 4. We finally got order but he had forgotten chips. I asked for refund but he assured me was ready. We had to wait again. 5. When we finally recieved food, and opened breakfast baps, they were disgusting. SUPER fatty salty cheap bacon on Dry brown rolls no butter nothing and soggy chips in non eco friendly polystyrene. We threw all of the food in the bin in utter disgust. Save your money and find elsewhere.

I hadn't been here since the place was taken over, but when I went here the Friday before Christmas on a bacon butty run, I was glad I did. The baps are superb (fnar fnar) with a choice of bread. I thoroughly recommend the Full Hog. My mate said the New Yorker burger was great as well. This place is busy, so best to ring s ahead.

Got served really quick, my egg sandwich was a meal and the location is great for water lovers and boaties.

They don't pay their suppliers and try to avoid all contact with them. Avoid!!!!

Best burger I had in ages! Hand made just in front of you with fresh, high quality ingredients. On top of that, friendly owner, fast service and good prices. Only thing I could ask to make it better is to have some cooked onions on my burger :)

I've been coming here for the past 5 years. The staff have changed but what remains the same is the quality of burger. Reggae music playing in the background, super chilled atmosphere. I had the New Yorker last week and it was amazing. The large patty was pressed out right in front of me. I went medium rare as the meat is so fresh. Topped with pastrami, cheese, pickles,fresh cut salad and sauce (I went classic ketchup and American mustard on the chefs recommendation) stacked into a toasted brioche bun. It was a mouthful of beefy heaven. If you are in Bristol and you want a great, no frills quality burger on the go then in my opinion you won't go far wrong and with its £5.50 price tag you will still have plenty of cash left over. Try out these guys you won't be disappointed. I won't go anywhere else now.

Very slow service, almost like they don't want the business, if busy they just say call back. Call often with a large order, and despite being opposite refuse to deliver. If you want customer service, you wont find it here.

Just had a sausage and egg roll from here. It was horrible. The sausages were burnt and I seemed to have only half an egg. Next time I'll keep walking and go to Brunels Buttery.

Stopped for an American burger, it was fantastic. Come back every week now as it’s great value, friendly service and incredible food. Best beef pattie I’ve had. Also have a water bowl out for dogs. 😁👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

A great feast can be had here - takeaway the beast of all breakfasts. Well priced and freshly cooked this is a good way to start the day.

We called in for lunch and had a bacon and egg sandwich. The service was quick and fairly friendly but the bacon was re-heated having been pre-cooked, and it was black, not burnt but it had picked lots of black bits off the grill, and that was quite unpleasant, without the egg yolk on it I don't think I could have eaten it.

Really good, solid breakfast baps, nicely cooked and very reasonably priced. Go early if you want something on the spur of the moment otherwise there can be a bit of a wait because it's so popular. Top tip is you can phone through orders and collect when ready.

So goddamn delicious, I almost wept. The bun was light and fresh, the burger was juicy and meaty. It was sensational.

This is a breakfast and burger van and is the best place to visit on a hangover. Massive bacon rolls for £2.30 which are delicious. Nice little outside area too.
