The farm shop is lovely although prices are eye watering so do didn’t buy anything. We did eat in the restaurant section. Unfortunately I felt it was very overpriced, but also our beetroot burger was very salty, I don’t know if it was the burger itself or the slaw on the bottom, I like salt but this was extremely salty. Portions are small and overpriced. I don’t mind it being serviced in a paper bag like a take away but don’t price as if it was a restaurant. The place itself is lovely and the staff but sadly we will not be returning due to the prices.

As somewhere which served food on a Sunday evening this was pretty much our only choice in Parkend. A shame it is so poor. Prior to going emails requesting a booking went ignored. A phone call secured a booking but, on arrival, no booking.... not a great start, but it was quiet so we got in. I wish they had turned us away. Our starters were nice but required zero skill in the kitchen to be so. The mains were a different matter. Only a Sunday roast was available, which ought to have been fine. it was not. The meats were like leather, the veg soggy, the roast veg was chewy rather than crispy, the Yorkshire pud and roast spuds gave the strong impression of coming out of a frozen packet and the stuffing could have been used to break windows etc. Very poor indeed. The worst Sunday roast ever? It's a contender..... If a chef works here, you could have fooled me! Will not go here again.

Popped in today on the off chance that food was still being served. It was and they took orders until 14.30. Lovely food enjoyed by all. Sirloin steak perfect and Cumberland sausage was delicious and that was said by 2 very fussy eaters! Better than food we were served at a four star resort not a 10 minute drive away. Thank you.

Had a excellent Sunday lunch at the White Hart. I had chicken and my partner had the rack of pork. She said it was excellent and the best she had tasted. My chicken was perfect and tasty. Must admit the cauliflower cheese is the best I've tasted. The staff are excellent. Very friendly and efficient.

The last time I visited this restaurant I swore it would be the last, even a ÂŁ25 voucher as compensation wasn't enough to get me to relive the awful experience that we had. It remains unspent, somewhere. Today we visited the new refurbished restaurant and it couldn't be more different. We were greeted by a friendly face and allowed to choose a table. I was advised that there would be a 45 minute wait for our food. It arrived after 20 minutes. The quality of the food was first class, the price is very good and the atmosphere clean and well ordered. We will definitely visit again.

Excellent service. Lizzie is lively and certainly makes you feel comfortable and at home. The food is exquisite, a personal favourite of mine, is the smoked beef board. Burnt ends, beef rib, brisket. All melt in the mouth and flowing with juice. The smoke leaves a delectable bark without overpowering the flavour profile of the meat itself. If you are feeling brave or want to stitch up your friends, challenge them to the chicken wings with dynamite sauce. It will blow your/thier head OFF. Extremely spicy but packed with juicy habaneros and scotch bonnets, this delicious home made sauce is not for the faint hearted, but provides hours of entertainment as you try to tackle the inferno.

Worse than Faulty Towers. We would have liked to sit at an outside table but the inadequate restaraunt manager said no.Our main courses came out and left on table while my wife was still half way through her starter. Our breakfast came out 45 minutes late and only after we compained
