AVOID! Waited over an hour for our drinks to be delivered to the table, no apology, no 241 cocktails like written in the menu, food bog standard. No service with a smile. Wouldn’t come back here at all. I’d rather go to a Wetherspoons

To be fair this is a Sports Bar so rowdiness can be expected but this evening saw several stag events at the same time. That would have been tolerable had the staff also been able to host non-stags. My daughter chose this venue for her 21st bday meal as we’ve always had good food and attentive servers in the past . Today we were not greeted , struggled to find someone to escort us to our table, were left and forgotten, we requested table service as the bar was blocked with stags but were told ‘sorry that’s just not possible, we are short-staffed’. It felt like our business was not welcome so we took it elsewhere and are unlikely to return.

Visited here for evening meal before going to the pavilion theatre. Wish we hadn't. A very large pub...... Loud football playing on t.v or loud music. Had a meal, should have sent it back, gammon & pineapple over burnt sorry chargrilled 😂 Chips triple microwave........ Won't ever go there again.

Had a lovely afternoon drink at the Brasshaus. Seems like the place has been refurbished. Has a German theme going on, I had a lovely bratwurst and was served by a lovely young man called Dan. I will definitely be returning.

My friend and I visited The Brasshouse in Westover Road, Bournemouth on Thursday 29 December 2022. The meal was beautifully cooked and efficiently served by a friendly staff member. In my opinion, the chefs at The Brasshouse are excellent at what they do and talented. As customers, we never see them to thank them or tip them but 'Thanks You' for a great meal. Your work is greatly appreciated. I've been to much more expensive restaurants and not had meals are good as at The Brasshouse which not only provides excellent meals but also do so at amazingly good value. The Brasshouse is also a wonderfully spacious and comfortable restaurant/Bar situated in the heart of Bournemouth yet within easy walking distance of the sea and sands.

Brass Haus is the place to be on a weekend in Bournemouth!! Such amazing food and drinks and the atmosphere great!! Live music and football makes it so fun to come with friends and family Bar staff is the best and Emily stands out the most, makes the best cocktails and was so friendly!!

Beautiful venue, lovely staff and amazing drinks! Service was impeccable, the food was ordered and we were served promptly, food was delicious! Peroni was suggested as the best selling draft, and we were not disappointed. Cannot complain about anything at all, have a very judgey monster in law, and will bring her next time to impress!

We visited for the open mic night, which turned out to be amazing! Such talented performers. The place is very clean and friendly and the concept is good - but for a place that has live entertainment billed I cannot understand why the open mic night was confined to the front corner of the place and not showcased on the stage in the area clearly set out for acts is a mystery. This is the only reason I am giving 4 stars and not 5 - note to management: look after the open mic night organisers and put them on the cabaret stage in the main area!

Lovely lively pub. Staff friendly food good. But.... I did not appreciate the female member of staff that brought my food to us. She had talons of nails. Which as she handled my order were touching the plate near my food. As we are still in the midst of Covid I was shocked and disappointed. My husband works in catering. He was not impressed by this either. I do think the Manager of the pub should insist that staff handling orders of food. Should not have excessive nails like this. Its not nice. I am not a prood. But this was unhygienic.

We have been here before, but very impressed by the relatively recent refurbishment. The service was courteous,polite and efficient. The food was reasonably priced,well presented and very tasty. Would definitely recommend 👍

Despite having a least 7 televisions around the bar, a huge one in the main bar area, with the England rugby playing, the manager refused to put the sound on in favour of leaving the background music playing. Everyone was trying to watch the rugby but there was absolutely no atmosphere without the sound. Having read other reviews it seems that the manager is happy to put the sound on if it is for the football but clearly not for the rugby. Poor, poor management. When i asked the manager if he could turn the sound on he replied, 'we're not a sports bar, I only leave the screens on to keep everybody happy' When I replied that no-one was happy because we couldn't hear the sound, he and his staff just laughed at me, actually laughed, I was gobsmacked, what appalling customer service. Seems so 'Jobsworth' and bloody minded, just for the sake of turning the sound up to create a bit of goodwill. Why do people who clearly don't like working with the general public, continue to do these jobs? We left and went somewhere else. Won't go back and people were finishing their drinks and also leaving.

WOW, I was looking forward to the soggy carpet, spilt drinks, dodgy smell...but WOW. This was a million miles away from the place I used to frequent on Champions League nights. The only thing that hasn't changed is Chelsea winning. Even the latte was half decent. More like a restaurant now which is cool coz your average punter in the past felt it was "a bit rough". LOL. They never stood in the Shed End in the 1980's. BIG BIG IMPROVEMENT. Perfect for your big club Champions League nights. I had a TV with no sound for Malmo v Chelsea, still In the main section I saw a big screen I just hope the sound quality good on match nights.

We went to the brasshaus bournemouth and wernt disappointed when we were told they were a also a live music venue. Great stage and lighting set up and the bands and singers were amazing . We will definitely be going back for some more .

After requesting that the advertised live football be switched on, the Manager informed me, via a polite member of staff, 'I'm busy, I will do it when I'm ready. This is not a Sports Bar'. A rude an ignorant response in my view given that I was more than satisfied with all the other staff as well as the food @drink.

we came here a few years ago and weren’t very impressed but decided to give it another go recently and the pub must’ve gone through some refurbishments because it is a lot nicer inside, however i think unfortunately this also boosted the price tag

Spacious and excellent value - yet mostly empty! The reason for this is that it's easy to walk by this incredible bar/restaurant without realizing how big it is inside and, more importantly, what incredible value the excellent meals are.The front of The Brasshouse is quite small and appears dark. But once you enter you'll be amazed at the size - it stretches right back and is HUGE and spacious.The meals are beautifully cooked and amazing value. Service is faultless. The staff are friendly and helpful.It's got a great bar too.Whenever I'm in Bournemouth, my No.1 priority is to make for The Brasshouse in Westover Road (opposite The Pavilion) for an excellent cooked and priced meal.

Extremely disappointed and offended by the rude staff , we were only having a giggle for our friends 50th birthday and got told to leave for being too loud !! We didn’t realise we had booked a table in a library !!! Completely understand the covid rules but we weren’t breaking them !!! Very disappointing !! No wonder they didn’t have anyone in the bar !! Very poor place and will not be returning !!

I was served by josh . Though he was new he took great enthusiasm within his job, he gave great customer service and I look forward to being served by him the next time I visit. Thank you josh for giving us a great customer service!

Booked a table by a screen to watch a match on a Saturday. First of staff were fantastic very welcoming and helpful. Ordered drinks off the app and arrived within 3 mins. Great price as well for food and its was nice. Place is great but the staff made it that bit better well done.

No sé si es de un nuevo propietario o no.Se volvió a abrir después del bloqueo de Covid-19 y los propietarios han rehecho el lugar. Los baños están un poco más limpios y no apestan como antes. Las mesas están bien espaciadas (lo cual es un requisito del gobierno)En cuanto a las comidas, podrías preguntar como hice yo: ¿qué comidas? Cuando lo visité a las 12. 30 pm a principios de agosto de 2020 no tenía pescado. Había bastantes otros platos que este bar / restaurante no tenía. Así que mi compañero y yo pedimos pizza.La pizza que trajeron a nuestra mesa consistía en un gran brebaje alargado de aspecto seco servido en un trozo de madera. ¡Um! El pedazo de pizza tenía al menos 30 cm de largo de un lado a otro y tal vez más grande. Era tan pesado que no se podía comer.Pedimos helado con chocolate líquido Begium vertido. Este solía ser uno de los mejores y, de hecho, los mejores postres (o dulces) de The Brasshouse. Pero el nuevo pudín de helado consistió en solo dos bolas en lugar de las tres anteriores. Y el chocolate belga con el que se roció se había reducido igualmente.¿Opinión general? The Brasshouse no se parece en nada a lo que solía ser. Almocei no Brasshouse, o ambiente é grande e pelo horário que fomos estava bem tranquilo. A comida não demorou e estava ok, nada demais. Perto de outros locais que frequentei, o preço é um ponto positivo.

We visited Bournemouth and "needed" somewhere to watch a match. I was initially surprised after booking and getting 2 confirmations of our booking for 6 people when I walked in they didn't know anything about it but was plenty of space.We have been coming to Bournemouth for 20+years but never walked into this pub, it's amazing!! Loads of screens, staff very friendly, food great value and actually enjoyed everything we ordered so cannot fault it from spicy chicken wrap, to tortillas and a very sticky toffee pudding.Shame about the match result but everything else was excellent and would definitely utilise again if the need arose during a weekend away.

Myself and my husband had a lovely time in this pub. We had a meal that was good, not great, but we enjoyed it.....had a couple of lovely drinks and escaped the dreadful weather yesterday. We played air hockey and that was great fun. Big screens showing sports but also news events. It was a warm, welcoming pub and would definitely pop in her again...

Después de haber visitado varios pubs de la misma compañía, y de haber tenido buenas y no tan buenas experiencias, debo decir que este pub nos sorprendió gratamente. Llamamos el día anterior para reservar una mesa, ya que queríamos ver un partido de fútbol muy específico e "impopular", y nos acomodaron maravillosamente, en una mesa solo para nosotros y justo frente a la pantalla de un televisor. La comida que pedimos era buena y las raciones eran enormes, especialmente dado que pagamos 8 '50 por ambos platos (hamburguesas vegetarianas y puré y Gammon con huevo, papas fritas y guisantes). El plato que quería pedir no estaba disponible pero me dejé aconsejar por el camarero que me sirvió y me encantó la alternativa. También tienen otras ofertas diarias como 2 x 1 en cócteles y 2 x 1 en hamburguesas. Personal amable y servicial, buena comida, concurrida y bulliciosa pero agradable ambiente. . . ¡No es de extrañar que sea un pub muy popular en la zona!Definitivamente recomendamos este lugar y definitivamente volveremos la próxima vez que visitemos Bournemouth.

Visited on New Year's Day. Our first food selections were unavailable as, due to the holiday, they had ran out of Steaks and Cod. We changed to Triple Hunters Chicken and Scampi and Chips. Both were excellent and very large, especially the Hunters Chicken.

Vino para fútbol y bebidas a precios razonables. No pondrían el sonido de fútbol hasta el comienzo, lo cual es una pena porque quieres la acumulación de ambiente. Cuando el sonido finalmente llegó, era realmente silencioso, al menos 3 personas pidieron que se activara el sonido, lo que finalmente sucedió después de 10 minutos. Come here when in Bournemouth always good hot food quick service even when busy good value for money. Good friendly staff .

Stopped for a coffee and a snack. The menu isn't very wide and as a non meat eater I struggled to find something I liked. Most of the menu contained something fried!

We always pop in here when we are down this way.we both had main meals and both came out nice and quick and was hot also a good price staff are polite

In need of lunch in busy Bournemouth, we came across the Brasshouse which was virtually empty. Food choice at lunchtime was relatively limited but my pulled pork ciabatta was delicious.

The Brasshouse in Westover Road, Bournemouth opposite The Pavilion is amazing value. The meals are incredibly inexpensive. The huge low-lit restaurant/bar is airy with plenty of snug intimate tables. The staff are friendly and efficient. Service is usually quick. The meals are nicely cooked on hot plates brought to your table. Where else could you get fish and chips at £8.50 (approximately) for two people? Afterwards, delicious ice cream with poured-over Belgium melted chocolate at £1.95! Don't tell everybody. I don't want my favourite Bournemouth Cafe-Bar crowded out!

Good for sports This is a lathe pub serving average uk food, burgers, pies and the like, I had hunters chicken and a burger over the weekend we were there. It’s a good place to watch the football and reasonably priced.

I have been here and eaten a variety of different things . The food is really well presented and is piping hot . Tastes good and you get a decent size plate of food . Will definitely be returning when back in town

We watched the England game recently in this pub and had some food and drinks. the food was quite tasty and relatively good price. the alcohol was also tasty and well priced.

Went in here for breaky this week before going to the train station to go home. Ordered the large breakfast and while it was ok, it wasn't anything to shout about tbh. Had a lot better. This place is a bit like a Wetherspoons pub, but personally I think Wetherspoons offer better grub. Just my opinion.

This place is really convenient for food, drink and football. But when the football match Finishes the place empty's and it's a really large pub. If there was a band on, it would keep people in, but it is what it is. The food was ok but not the best bar food I'v tasted but if you want to watch a match this is the place to be.

Visit here every time we are in Bournemouth. Usually very busy but as it was a Monday lunchtime was quieter. Good service and good food whilst watching the sport. Reasonably priced and ok for families in the day.

After wandering around Bournemouth and its beautiful park, it started raining so we ran for shelter and found ourselves outside The Brasshouse in time for lunch. It is a huge "Sports Bar" with a warm atmosphere and cosy areas of tables. Can only imagine how busy it must get on weekends with the various TVs showing live sports.Taking the SA exchange rate into consideration - the Special of 3 x Starters for Nine Pounds was great value for money.

He disfrutado durante los últimos 4 años de este pub. Es cálido y muy acogedor, todo el personal es amigable y puede conversar contigo sin problema. El único problema que tengo es que a veces la comida puede salir lenta PERO cuando llega, ¡vaya! Las hamburguesas son jugosas y muy sabrosas, las papas fritas nunca están empapadas y los postres son aún mejores; ) El día de pago siempre es mi mejor día, ya que puedo pasar algo de tiempo y un poco de mi salario aquí.

We stopped here several times, staff were welcoming knew our drinks after one round, large and spacious plenty of tables, snooker, t.v sports on mulitple screens, good pub grub at very good prices.

Popped in here for a quick bite while down in sunny Bournemouth and we were pleasantly surprised how clean and tidy this place was. From the outside it looks a lot like a Wetherspoons but inside it is quite spacious with plenty of seating available.

We entered the premises on Easter Monday as a party of 2 adults and 2 children - it looked a bit like Wetherspoon’s but never mind - this was a peckish and thirsty situation after a sunny day at the beach.

Visited The Brasshouse on the recommendation of a friend and I have to say we weren’t disappointed. Ok the decor is a little rough and ready but that was more than made up for by the excellent food and helpful staff. We had such a nice meal meal on our first visit that we returned later on the week and again had lovely food - well cooked, hot and for excellent prices. Would definitely return again if we ever come back to the area.

Came here after some drinks for some food and football on the telly....grabbed ourselves some snacks and mains and really enjoyed it. Food was good and good sized portions for what you pay, just don’t go for the chicken bites as it’s never enough lol

The place has a good atmosphere and the prices of the meals and beer are great. If you like typical british pub food then this is the place. Nice place for just a beer also - have TV with sports.

Went here for the first time yesterday ordered the all day breakfast, unfortunately it looked like it had been standing all day. The bacon was not rashers just clumps of burnt fat. Sausages also burnt and eggs hard. I sent it back and ordered fish and chips which was ok. As a chef myself there is no way I would send out food like that. Waiter was polite and did a good job and apologetic even though the manager didn't bother to come over and see me.

Lovely big pub and restaurant. We always go for breakfast here when we visit Bournemouth, the staff are always friendly and the vegetarian sausages are fabulous. Would highly recommend.

First time back here for about 18 months and it was as friendly as I remember. All the staff have something to say to you and a smile. Good selection of drinks and food. Enjoyable evening

Me and my boyfriend came here for something to eat having been here before many times with our little girl and my eldest daughter. He had the mixed grill and I had the fish and chips. We were both very happy with our meals The batter on my fish was spot on! And cooked to perfection just how I like it. I'm also really fussy about chips in places like this as most cheap meal places that I've experienced usually serve dried up, over done chips but these were really nice My boyfriend had no complaints either about his. When we travel to Bournemouth we nearly always pop in here so no doubt we will be back again on our next visit. We came back Sunday lunch time to enquire about Sunday lunch but unfortunately you don't do it. Such a shame.

The Brasshouse is a young persons Pub,we found it too noisy,couldn,t hear other people speak,no where to sit! hard to get served,wont be coming again!

The Brasshouse is in the same 'league' as Wetherspoons. Cheap eats and a good range of ales. Similarly it is a very large pub and can get busy but the tables are spread out more, which we prefer, when having a meal. The meals are well cooked and served in large portions. The staff are always cheerful and there are plenty of sports screens but it is possible to sit away from them if preferred.

Pasé por aquí un par de veces durante nuestro fin de semana habitual en Bournemouth siempre el fin de semana antes de Navidad. Tengo que decir que las primeras horas de la noche son las mejores si desea tener una conversación decente con los demás huéspedes, ya que se llena de gente bastante pronto. Las bebidas tienen un precio muy razonable y de buena calidad, no puedo comentar sobre la comida ya que no teníamos ninguna, pero lo que vimos de otras personas es bastante bueno. Este tipo de pub hubiera sido ideal en mi juventud durante la década de 1980, pero a medida que envejecemos preferimos lugares más tranquilos. Continúe con el buen trabajo que volveremos a hacer en Brasshouse, obviamente usted conoce su mercado.

Había 10 en nuestro grupo de 14 a 84 años: el menú y la cocina se adaptaban a las necesidades de todos y la comida era fantástica, el servicio era fantástico, la comida y las bebidas estaban a un precio razonable. I actually really liked this pub. I never ate in there so I cannot comment on the food. But the selection of drink and atmosphere was brilliant. Its a huge place. Was in there on a Saturday afternoon while rugby and football was on. Really good. If you want great priced drink, sport and atmosphere in Bournemouth then this place has it all.

We ordered food and one arrived warm the other cold on the skillets

The chargrilled chicken had no flavour and tasted almost burnt. The glazed ribs only had a small amount of bbq sauce on one side. Even though the menu didn’t mention it, the chicken/rib meal had at least a whole cut and fried onion with it, and were over cooked. The soft drinks were warm and the chips were cold. The salad was warm and dehydrated.

Good clean pub, drinks very reasonably priced, nice food and very helpful and cheerful staff.

We had a snack and a couple of drinks before seeing a show at the pavilion theatre, there was a great choice and very good value.

Drinking pub with lots of different sports on screens. Ideal for lads/groups. Staff not the most welcoming though.

We needed little persuasion to return here a few times on our recent stop in Bournemouth.

If it was simply based on price, this place would be an easy winner. If you add the fact that the food is perfect, it wins by a mile.

The Brasshouse is such an amazing venue, cheap drinks + lush food. Was an amazing atmosphere during the Air Show and had the best time there!! All the team are smiley and vibrant and cannot fault the service at all. Can’t wait to visit again!

Love this pub excellent if you watch sports as loads of screens. The food is good and excellent value also drinks are cheaper here than most pubs around.

We had a lovely lunch here that was not too expensive. We had to wait quite a while to place our order as they only had one person on the till. I had a duck wrap, my only complaint was that there was too much hoi sin sauce on it and when i tried to eat it the wrap completely collapsed and was soggy but it tasted good. Food is good and reasdonably priced.

Watched one of the England matches here it was a great atmosphere with supporters from both teams. Security was in evidence but not obtrusively so. Lovely bar staff.

Visitamos el domingo 07 / 07 / 18 mientras buscábamos un sitio para cenar antes de regresar a Londres.

Some friends and I visited whilst in Bournemouth for the day to watch the football. It was great that they had multiple screens and were showing both games side by side. We also returned again in the evening for dinner. I ordered the mixed grill, it was delicious and great value for money. The service was also good. Would return again.

Como los turistas no saben dónde ir a por algo de comer a la hora de comer y decidimos entrar aquí.

Me encanta el pub, pero la comida era horrible. Mi carne 8 onzas 6 onzas de ascendió a grasa y gristlethe camarero preguntó si todo estaba bien, así que le mostré y le dije. Entonces, él me dio el aprobado y dijeron, pero todo está bien y caminamos lejos! Servicio de atención al cliente asqueroso!

Estado aquí un par de veces durante nuestra reciente visita del día 5 a Bournemouth. Las bebidas estaban a un precio razonable y play off de fútbol en la televisión. Parecía un buen lugar para ver algo de deporte y tomar una copa sin tener que pagar demasiado por tus bebidas. Sin duda volveremos.
