El pub parece haberse deslizado cuesta abajo. Todavía está razonablemente limpio y ordenado (excepto el inodoro de caballeros) pero el ambiente no es bueno. El personal del bar parece muy desinteresado y se escabullen en una habitación detrás de la barra. Ser atendido es complicado. La comida está bien, pero en realidad no es demasiado La clientela parece mucho más antigua. En general, muy lúgubre.

Tomamos unas copas aquí durante el fin de semana! Personal amable y servicial. Barra limpia y ordenada. Bien abastecido y algunas buenas ofertas en! Tenía un par de cafés que estaban calientes y agradables!

Fui allí con mi hija del verano pasado y la comida que pedimos. Era bastante mala calidad, especialmente con un 8 por comida y con una bebida que se pagó. Tuvimos que esperar unos 10 minutos. Los baños eran bastante viejos y huelen mal

Went in for drinks on Monday and was a really nice atmosphere and really good deals.. cant remember getting home but can remember having a good time! thanks team Hop!

We don't live far from this pub. Really friendly staff reasonable prices drink and good food if your after a quick bite. Do have regular events such as rugby six nations, football and the pool table is handy for that inter couple rivalry.

Just went in for a cheeky pint with the lads, however the top quality staff kept my pallet wet and my soul happy. Would recommend it to any stella bloke looking for some banter.

Our first visit and at first sight our family of 9 were a little apprehensive but staff and fellow customers were very welcoming and helped us find a table big enough for us all. There is a wide range of very reasonably priced food and our meals came out quickly and all at the same time and everyone was very happy with them. Go here for a real pub atmosphere and for really good value.

I used to frequent this pub often but no longer, The patrons stand outside, or between the entrance doors smoking cigarettes and allow the smoke to filter into the pub. The whole place literally stinks. I don't think the patrons give a damn because they completely disregard the piddling sign inside the pub asking the patrons to go out the back. Perhaps they can't read!! My friends and I now drink elsewhere.

I visit quite regularly in the early afternoon. Always simple to find a table and while away a moment or two over a very reasonably priced drink. Staff always willing to help and generally conscientious.

Great tikka masala great Desserts although Sunday dinners not that great. Every thing else good .staff good service good

Popped in, we ordered three mains, very reasonably priced and not bad food but would avoid the roast as its pre cooked and appeared micro waved. Got stared at by what we assumed were locals as we sat down. Staff were very nice though and drinks good value.

I visited this pub as I have many times in the past with friends. Popped in for a pint/meal & to catch up with a mate. The menu is very good & varied most things that you would want from pub food. They are a Greene King pub and offer many good bargains. We had 2 meals for £9.49 which is very good value. A steak & ale pie and ham, eggs & chips. Food service was very good especially as there was only 1 barmaid working, she worked tirelessly and food was delivered within 10-15 mins. Washed down with a couple of beers. Very enjoyable evening will always go back.

Spot on. Good food. Freindly staff. Can't fault. Been coming for evening meal for nearly 2 months. Not had a bad meal yet.

Nice and big facilities, clean and in good condition, the meals are correct and flawless, there is a bunch of daily clients, noisy, some of them really bad looking and with hygiene, often drunks (well is a pub). Service is habituated and ignores the other clients. If they see you're a foreigner they treat you as sheet. Think the owner must put an eye over this

I went with my daughter for an early evening meal. The Hop has some very attractive meal combos offering very reasonably prices. We started with a small bucket of chicken wings. We then decided on a steak & a chicken skewers. Both meals very served within 10-15 minutes and both were very nice.The food & drinks were very reasonable and we were in & out within 1 hour. Very good

Catching up on my reviews, realised I had missed a review for The Hop & Kilderkin. It is on a very busy high street junction & from the outside not particularly inviting. Inside is much better. Bright & colourful decor. Very busy when I visited in December, very loud with a youngish vibe to pub. Which is to be expected as it is in the heart of Bournwmouth's student population. Would visit again for a quick drink. Probably pass on food though.

I have been past this place a few times and gave it a wide birth due to the blokes smoking outside.New Year, new me. Popped in for a meal and it's actually a nice pub. Service was really quick and pleasant, with all the usual beers/soft drinks on tap. Tables plentiful and bright.Menu is straight forward burgers, lasagne, fish & chips (aimed at the local students), but it tasted good and only came in at £25 for three mains, starter and drinks.Remember it's a pub - sometimes it can be noisy. If you would like it quieter, choose the tables away from the bar area (left as you enter the pub).

We had a great time in the hop with a really good meal. There was a good range of real ale and i was allowed to try each different beer before buying.A good time had by all

Handy location in Eastern end of Winton. Good selection of beers, and a n advertised menu, but closed on the night of my visit. Visited on a Sunday and was quite quiet, suspect this is not the case mid week when students are present.al

Took ages to get served staff seemed disinterested.. Wasn’t particulary busy!Lots of loud obnoxious people in the establishment.. Doubt i will use this place again!

You'll need a spare 2 hours for a quick lunch here! Lunchtime on a Friday; no one behind the bar for 10 minutes, no jacket potatoes available (!) incredibly slow serving food - it's not as if it had been freshly prepared, 3 tiny pieces of chicken in the chicken tikka masala and the strangest decor you have ever seen in a pub! Not for me thank you. Cheap though! Maybe there's a better atmosphere in the evenings.

The food was not bad but nothing to write home about. The music was to loud if it had been later in the evening it would of been acceptable but at 4 on a Saturday afternoon not so acceptable. Only made worse by a group of 5-6 people being rowdy on the gambling machine if they had been there when we arrived we would of gone to another place for food. Over all not enjoyable don't think we will come back.

I live just across the street but never been here even though a lot of my friends had been praising. Nice place with good value for money, special deal almost everyday. Would be back again :)

Awesome pub, great staff and great atmosphere. Would definatley recommend this place to everyone, great student offers, great Food and a 10 foot HD project its ideal for sporting events...
