I had our 25years wedding anniversary on 16th Aug, at the orestone hotel. Fab service excellent food, nothing to much trouble. 5 star review.

Great local fresh food cooked to perfection at a reasonable price. We loved the place the food and had great service would recommend and we will go back.

Always tended to in a personal way, excellent breakfast with copious amounts of tea and toast. Booking is recommended as Angela is always busy but she does try her best to fit you in if she can. Thanks Angela for looking after us as always. Paula & Roger and all the Exeter BSAC divers x

Fantastic cafe in fact so good we visited twice in a week! Had a breakfast which was lovely, great quality ingredients and served fresh and hot. Went back for an omelette and fish finger butty both spot on. Had to have cream tea as well which I have to say the scones really are the best in the area. They were lush. Also took a slice of coffee cake away with us! ..well we are on holidays. Honestly this is a gem of a place. Dog friendly too which is always a bonus for us. Dont walk past it do go and see the ladies they do not disappoint.

Visited my friend for the weekend in Totnes, driving through Babbacoombe we decided to have a chippy lunch, although not far from closing time the lady let us eat in, lovely food, big portion, value and fresh. Chips deserve an award. Thank you very much

Ideally located for Babbacombe Theatre, we enjoyed some pre-theatre drinks and the returned after the show for the latter part of the evening. Received excellent service from Shaun who was welcoming, attentive and engaging - an excellent barman and a great advert for the establishment.

I cannot rave about Big Bakes enough! Highly recommend for their big range of cakes. From brownie balls, cookie stacks, blondies to brownie and so much more. Every single bake is full of flavour. Each slice you can see all the layers of flavour. You know time and effort has been put into each bake! The staff and owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and down to earth. I think Big Bakes is the best in the bay for its service, range of bakes, quality and postal service. They clearly stand out from the rest of the Torquay bakeries for their outstanding flavours. They’re very reasonably priced for the size of the bakes and even offer deals in the shop. I can easily spend £20-£100 a month in there as they’re continuously creating new flavours which is a must try every time! Look out for their Christmas and Easter specials!

Great Sunday Carvery, good value(£15), great choice of 4 meats and huge choice of veg, 4 different types of potatoes. All the veg was fresh and very tasty. Staff were excellent, would definitely return.

The Crown & Septer has to be one of the best pubs in the bay. Super friendly staff, great locals and a fantastic feel to the place. Always in there on a Friday for a few. Cheers. 🍻

Great "Open-Mic Night" every Monday, with a good bunch of musicians to provide an evening of entertainment...Will be back! Colin

As I was staying nearby on a walk I found this pub from when I walked in and the staff were welcoming with nice views across the bay
