The food and drink are very reasonably priced and the staff were friendly.

Well priced food,large beer garden with children's play area off road. Friendly atmosphere and staff.

Spot on food and very accommodating. We arrived ten minutes before the kitchen closed and was very happy with the overall welcoming and experience.

We had a delicious meal here with our two children (12 and 9) on the first night of our weekend away. The food was amazing. We tried a bit of everything - gammon, fish n chips, chicken and leak pie and a child's honey ham, egg and chips. All food was piping hot and freshly cooked. Maria, who served us, was really friendly and welcoming. The prices were excellent value for money. There is a fabulous view of the coastline directly across the road and parking at the back. Would highly recommend.

I like the menu and the steak was great. Also the prices are good value for money. The only room for improvement would be the staff could be more helpful. I got the impression they wanted to do anything that resulted in an easy life and not put themselves out. This could just be "service today" and the fact that I have lived in the USA for many years where the service generally is better.

Lovely food, well priced and good size portions. Good options for vegetarians. We were there for dinner on Sunday. Freshly made!!! My husband was very happy with the buttermilk chicken too. We were in Torquay for Easter school holidays. They have car park and accept dogs. We didn't have ours though.

Superb breakfast on sizzling Hot plate. Staff welcoming and brekkie was outstanding value for money. Without doubt we shall be returning in the very near future.

Popped in today for dinner without booking. We were seated promptly and our order taken within 5minutes. The starters arrived very swiftly followed by the mains which again were very quick considering the place was very busy. The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were very accommodating. To top it off we finished with a salted caramel cheesecake which was demolished in no time. Lovely views from the window over the Devon seas and great atmosphere all round. Would highly recommend

This is a lovely place, set on Babbacombe Downs in Torquay, with fantastic views. The food is always well presented,delicious and very reasonably priced. The staff are always very friendly and helpful. The drinks aren't expensive and they have a good choice of ales too. I can't recommend a visit to the Babbacombe Inn highly enough, you won't be disappointed.

We came for my Mum's 80th meal, 17 of us. Service was great, food was hot and all served together. Not one complaint from 17, mine was lovely, Cajun Chicken. I couldn't fault the food, the staff were nice, so I look forward to returning in the summer.

On a rainy day with a damp dog with us, we walked into the Babbacombe Inn and were greeted with open arms! The staff were amazing, there was not one I could pick fault with. The food more importantly was good and plentifull, the portions were huge! Would I go back? Absolutely 👍

Nice pub. Unfortunately the roast dinner was poor quality. The meat was heavily processed and not freshly cooked and carved in the oven. The veg was overcooked. Nice friendly service but a couple of mistakes with the order. Nice pub, poor quality food.

We love the Babbacombe Inn, visit every time we are in Devon, great staff and always remember us, but the 80’s group “Decade” on Saturday night need to get a different singer, the band could play , but the singer could not sing..

We were recommended to check out this place by a friend. We opted to visit for a Sunday roast. Its seemed a nice cosy pub inn. Sadly the vegetables and meal were luke warm and had obviously been standing for a while before being brought out. Such a shame as it could have been nice.

We went with our puppy who was made very unwelcome although we booked prior staying we have a puppy and a child the food was to be honest crap steak not edible very over cooked when asked for rare no cutlery bought to us when we did get it no steak knife orange juice off extremely rude waitress we have been before we had the puppy and always treated well and leave a nice tip however we were rushed to order food waitress came 3 times whilst trying to enjoy a drink

Not good moaned at our young puppy so definitely not dog friendly orange juice was off and steak not edible paying 70 off pounds for 3 meals and a few drinks is not on disgusting treatment of customers with puppys

We came here today and the food was okay, kinda cold but tasted fine. However, a waitress walked over and said ‘I’ve bought 4 sets of cutlery as I couldn’t imagine two people eating all this food’ - which is VERY rude as there was 2 of us. We had a starter each & 2 jacket potatoes? Very concerning because if one of us had an eating disorder it could’ve ended very badly. Need to be trained to deal with customers in a polite way.

This place blew my mind I eat out regularly and without a doubt the meal here was the best I have had in years. Every bite was exquisite, there was a good menu choice and also a good specials board. The staff were chatty, warm and welcoming. If I could award more stars I would.

Breakfast service recently introduced. A reassuringly short menu of traditional options. Don't expect crushed avocado with a hint of chilli. Absolutely delicious and wholesome and as ever delivered by your cheerful crew. Enjoy those wonderful morning views on beautiful Babbacombe Downs. 🇬🇧🇳🇿

Service was excellent no waiting for carvery they arranged thet people did not all go up together. Plenty of vegitables rost potatoes and Yorkshire puddings were great The choice of 3/ 4 meats not (belly pork)ex

Went for a meal here for my sisters birthday had the festive turkey which was lovely the only criticism I have was the Brussels sprouts were a bit hard apart from tht it was lovely great atmosphere and excellent waitress Jasmin very polite and helpful 5 stars to her .⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My friend and I booked a table for dinner at the Babbacombe Inn on Saturday. We were not disappointed. Food, service and atmosphere were brilliant. We booked a table on line, it was so easy. We had a meal in here with some friends visiting from London and I didn't expect too much as you never know with pubs. But wow, the food was really good and especially for the price. Steak and chips with pork ribs thrown in. So tasty. And the staff are lovely there so all round well worth a visit.

Great food and great views. This beautiful place right on the downs is well worth a visit... The staff seem friendly here and always seems very busy do if u have not booked a table you may have to wait but they will do the best to try and get you a table if you have not booked.. The only thing I can complain about was the real ale being very tinnie... so I won't bother with a pint here and go up the road where the pint better. I always now have tea coffee or even apple juice with my meal..

A great place to go for a few drinks or a nice meal at anytime of the year as the views in the surrounding areas are amazing, a lovely size Inn with seating both inside and out, plus I also found the staff to be friendly & happy to serve you which is a very important factor for me.
