Super seafood served here. Not many places can you find fresh white crab pots, then you can have fresh crab sandwiches made to order on the premise with a glass of fizz. How romantic was this place. Good amount of seating outside in the middle of a bustling beautiful harbour with super views. Helpful staff running this small business, efficient clean & beautiful selection of fresh fish. Definitely recommend.

Always wanted to eat here, seafood right on the harbour. Unfortunately, it's not as nice of an experience as I hoped & did not meet expectations. There is no table service, despite adequate staffing & expensive pricing. We ordered a whole range of seafood & and while we thoroughly enjoyed some, we also found that some was not as fresh & indeed lacked the taste you might expect of fresh seafood. Limited wine/drink options. Should of stuck to a crab sandwich!

Stopped for a quick bite of lunch after a stomp around. So pleasantly surprised about how wonderful it all was. Greeted, happy and attentive staff. Food was spectacular and so fresh. Superb seafood the mussels, scallops and crevettes was absolutely amazing just right amount to share served with crusty bread and butter. Right on the harbour side a perfect location for perfectly cooked seafood. The tables are a lovely touch with the anchor chains for legs.

Fantastic scallops, very good value and perfectly prepared, very, very tasty and clearly fresh from the market (which of course means fresh from the sea). The accompanying salad is now much improved from past years and the bread is perfect too. Great Oysters too - they were enormous and very, very fresh and bright tasting. We washed it all down with a very nice, sharp Chilean Sauvignon Blanc which went perfectly with the seafood. It's become the only place we eat in Brixham now, as the seafood is simple but perfect, such good quality and it's a great location on the harbour - in fact this place and a swim in Fishcombe Cove are the two main attractions for us in this wonderful Devon town.

Had a medium, size of an eggcup,pot of cockles £5.00, shocked by price and disappointed at quality, vinegar was so watered down did not have any taste. It was an insult, maybe all other food is better but will never purchase from Claws again

We love this place. We found it while on holidays in 2023 and been back every time we vist. We have dined in and out. The food is amazing, this time we shared a seafood platter for £23 pounds per couple we could not finish it. Every thing was amazing fresh. Staff are great we will be back xx

My family ordered from the Claws hut outside seating area in Brixham yesterday and what I can describe as utter stupidity from those who work inside is an understatement. Prawns or crab looking delicious on display, place an order. Get no ticket, then wait at seats as the young girls then say we'll bring it to you then proceed to deal with all the take away orders, and completely forget yours. We asked twice where is our order, oops forgotten was told. Half hour later for a sandwich which literally takes mins to put together arrives and mine is still missing, to me saying there's still one more. It then arrives in what is the soggiest bread on the outside like they've wiped the counter and it's running wet to then place the bread on top of the water, filled it up, cut it really badly to serve it and say sorry for delay. Whilst we watched a large family group turn up and get served almost instantly. The girls have zero system inside the hut and need management to sort this asap. It really isn't tasking, write up the order, pin it to board, work thro the orders in turn, serve. What a joke show it was to sit and observe for 30 mins or more. We also weren't the only ones. A lady at the back I noticed go up twice to say where is my bread after ordering a pot and no bread arrived. 10mins later she goes up and collects bread slices herself. I appreciate it's busy at weekends but sort it out. It's not supposed to leave customers writing such negative reviews. We want to have enjoyed it and left a good one. Impossible not to let others know. Think before you order. There is others in the harbour so I'd say on this experience go elsewhere. Or risk a joke show.
