Used to live in Paignton in 70s worked in Disco called Pandemonia. Often, I went to the fabulous Spinning Wheel and it was well loved then, great to see it is still going strong. Sad I missed the soul night that would have been perfect 👌 Great atmosphere and music was always terrific. I will definitely be back soon for another visit.

Used to live in Paignton and one place ive missed is here. Used to love the chips so yummy 😋 soo on a visit to Paignton went in, there was a queue but worth it had cheesy chips oh my days they were so nice. Only complaint is not enough chips could of eat more and more cheese but apart from that was nice to be bk still the best chips I’ve ever had

Our family stopped at Warrens for a snack while visiting Paignton. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We sat outside and were offered more chairs and even provided with a toy for our 4 year old granddaughter to play with. Thank you for a lovely experience

I ordered a 70th birthday ‘golf’ cake for my husband’s 70th birthday. He was absolutely thrilled with it and it tasted delicious. Got lots of positive comments. Thank you Alison.

Monday to Friday stay, Room looked OK, Dinner was basic, asked for a extra bread roll told that for the price we payed we could only have one or could buy another. Our room was not serviced all week, had difficulty working the shower, taps hard to turn on and off sometimes they came back on after you turned them off. No where to put anything in the bathroom only on the floor. Asked for a safety mat for shower got the most disgusting stained mat, it must be the one in use as photos on other reviews show it. No cups washed, no tea coffee or milk replenished got towels with holes No wonder this hotel is almost empty You could rate this hotel with minus star

We stopped by for a post-Christmas drink and were warmly welcomed. The spotless exterior impressed, clean interior too. Harry, the bartender, provided outstanding service, effortlessly balancing our needs, passing patrons, and regulars. His dedication warrants appreciation!

Food was abundant but greasy and salty. In general it feels like food is just mistreated, the ribs in particular were carbonised... the nice detail of the spicy coleslaw was marred by it being three tablespoons. Service was ok.

Had two jacket potatoes from the hatch, they were really good, potatoes were really good size cooked well, had cheese and bean's, and tuna mayo was loads on the potatoes 🥔 and lovely and hot, great coffee also lovely and hot, and hot chocolate ,price for all was good, thank you very much, staff were lovely

Worst experience I've had with any company in ages!!! I left some things at the pub, they had no number so communication was so difficult. Like a week after I told them about the number they still hadn't sorted it, bet they still haven't! I contacted them through fb, as a person with agoraphobia and anxiety which I explained to them, they were completely unempathetic, rude, yes I was rude too but do you blame me with the pure unorangisation that caused me SO MUCH STRESS! They didn't care and I will NEVER come back to this awful place, they caused me an incredible amount of stress, I had panick attacks for a whole day because of their lack of communication, pure unprofessionalism and disorganisation. Would give a -5 if I could.

What can I say apart from avoid! Two young girls served us. After we paid, we noticed they were eating while cooking!! Waited 40 mins with no food, when we asked where the food was, she told us she forgot to cook it!! then told us they had no chicken burgers or chicken nuggets. Surely you should check stock before serving? Mistakes happen of course, but this was problem after problem. The girl was vaping while cleaning around the front. So unhygienic is actually disgusting. Such a shame because the location was lovely. We always walked past and wanted to try it. If trading standards ever arrived they would be shut down instantly. WHO EATS WHILE COOKING AND SERVING FOOD? And to top it off, We didn't even get an apology at all. They both just stood bad mouthing us as we walked away.
