Our family stopped at Warrens for a snack while visiting Paignton. The staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We sat outside and were offered more chairs and even provided with a toy for our 4 year old granddaughter to play with. Thank you for a lovely experience

These cakes that I’ve been buying in the last month or so are AMAZING. The girl that takes my order is great. I go in, order & pay for my cakes. I then pick them up around an hour later. Like I said, OMG they’re amazing.

We bought frozen saffron cakes from here whilst on holiday to take home. Superb flavour - best ever - but when we got home and cut one open it had a large hole in the middle. Obviously not kneaded sufficiently (it happens), so I left them a message just to let them know. The regional manager responded very quickly with a phone call and arranged to send a replacement by courier - something I did not expect as the cake was perfectly edible - and delicious. Very impressed with their customer service.

I do like a good pasty but the last 3 times I have visited Warrens in Paignton I have been terribly disappointed. The pasties tasted stale and probably have been sitting in the warmer far too long even wonder if they were warmed up from day before. The danish was also poor, stale and not much taste. Not impressed Warrens. Think you need to do some work here.

Hi drop in quality while massive price increases, no steak in the steak pasty at all these days so now just a normal Cornish pasty (No longer steak) But reason for the 1 star is last Sunday about 1pm my wife ordered and brought home 2 large steak and they were dried out like end of day knock offs, Left very disappointed and with them already being home its to far to go back to complain.

No advertising of prices on a table of '3 for 2' packs of donuts and cakes offer. We took '3 for 2' to mean 3 packs for the price of 2 and found out after paying it was actually 3 donuts or cakes in 1 overpriced pack for the price of 2 donuts or cakes. When questioned the lady was very abrupt and rude and just pointed out we still got 3 free cakes! I suggested they needed better signage because we felt misled by the offer, to which she just walked off and threw me a knowing look.Overpriced, poorly advertised and very bad customer service. That's 3 customers lost and they will not be well recommended.

Have used Warrens a few times. This visit both my son and I had a large sausage roll. It was obvious that the assistant took the oldest from the back as oppose to the nice looking ones at front. They were bearly warm and half the pastry had come off in the bag as had gone hard. Would suggest cooking less so they are more fresh. Wouldn’t recommend.

Purchased a small steak pasty at the Paignton and found it to be very disappointing. Usual complaint, not enough meat, and what there was wasn't distributed evenly throughout the pasty. Not a patch on a "Chunk of Devon" pasty. Used to enjoy Warren's when we bought them from the factory in Truro many years ago. Think it was another name then. Very disappointed.

Popped in for sarnie and a cake in my lunch hour. Beef and mustard roll was awful. Too much rocket and hardly any butter. had one of those amazing looking meringues in window in lemon and white chocolate. What a total disappointment. burnt on bottom, tasteless and nowt inside. meringue was two pounds. total bill was over five pounds. total rip off. reason why they have so many meringues in window is cause they are rubbish and do not sell. disgruntled

would highly recommend that if you want real cornish pasties you go to warrens they are delicious and at £19.10 for 3x medium and 2x large steak pasties its good value too well worth it. The staff were so friendly and helpful too.

Good selection of sandwiches, nice when you don’t have much time to eat. Deserts are slightly too sweet for me…Un bon choix en matière de sandwichs. Pratique quand on a peu de temps pour manger. Les desserts sont trop sucrés à mon goût

I was really looking to a steak and gravy pasty from here. They looked delicious but I was extremely disappointed to find 1 piece of steak in the whole pasty. It was full of potato and onion. Not even much gravy. Definitely not what it said on the tin!!!

We popped in to pick up a traditional pasty, and a cheese and onion pasty. The service was friendly, and the pasties the best we've had in a long while. Reasonably priced too. Recommended!

Really nice pasties although I prefer the ones in their newton abbot branch as they seem to have more gravy. I hate dry boring pasties at least these have some pepper in them.

We went into Warrens Bakery after visiting another coffee shop, which was not successful, to buy cakes for our sons as a treat. The assistant was very friendly and chatty and it made a huge difference. Good service goes along way in my eyes..Fortunately for us we went into Warrens around 4.30pm when the assistant was selling cakes 3 for £1 as it was the end of the day, so we got a bargain. The inside of the shop looked clean and they had lots of different choices.I didnt see any seating so its clearly a take-away bakery.

Whilst I agree that the food served is decent enough, I think Warren's prices are getting more and more ridiculous - £4 for a large pasty, £1.20 for a belgian bun, need I say any more. This isn't an artisan bakery, it's a chain. I'd rather support Hallett's at Warrne's prices.

Walked past here many times but today went in and bought a "Large Steak Pasty" for my rail journey to London. (If you tried Great Western Food you'll know that alternatives are usually cheaper and tastier!).This was a good decision, good pastry plus a filling consisting of moist, identifiable chunks of potato, swede, onion and large chunks of steak, all well cooked with a slight peppery taste and NOT salty.Thoroughly enjoyable and I will buy again during my next visit to Paignton

Warrens has always been my favorite bakery, great pasties both large and small.Unfortunately since the government has introduced a tax on keeping the pasties hot (once cooked) it's not possible to get a nice hot pasty any longer, unless you are lucky enough to visit JUST when they have come out of the oven! Such a pity as they just are not the same cold :-(

The selection of pasties are great and they are very tasty but the other food items on offer aren't brilliant. Also, the drinks are crazily overpriced. Especially when a 99p store is just opposite which has cans of coke ect. for 39p!

Warren's 'medium Cornish pasty' is a really good authentic local pasty. They often do not cook enough of them and often run out too early in the afternoon. Also they could start baking them earlier, have been there several times at 12pm and the first batch are still being cooked. They never seem to have enough change in the till, so take the right money if you can!

This Warren's is part of a chain across the south west, all of which tend to offer the same mediocre but pricey bakery products. The pasties are generally fine, and the sausage rolls are good value when on multibuy, but often I find the cakes over sickly and not particularly pleasant. Prices for cakes are quite steep too. The service is generally quick and fairly friendly, and the place fairly clean, but there are better bakeries in Paignton. I'd generally only head here for a pasty or for a multibuy offer.

Came here for lunch today, very welcomming bar lady and the food we ordered arrived fresh and hot. Its a basic menu but so cheap, we almost thought we were looking at a childs menu. If you fancy something non fancy head here. The pub itself is in need of some tlc but put that to one side and you have a friendly local, selling good cheap food with stunning views. And its dog friendly.

Dinner was really good. Everything tasted really good but the exceptional part was the service, the wait staff couldn't do enough for us. An absolute treat.
