The best restaurants serving British food in Poole Town Poole South West

my mate comes over every Wednesday and up till lockdown we visited here. It has got to be the best place in Poole. the staff were excellent and was really hoping it would reopen.

Pleasant situation, friendly welcome and good coffee, what more do you need. It was nice to sit opposite the quay and watch the world go by. Would definately go back.

Lovely pint of Tangle Foot in nice surroundings. Great staff, nice clientele, although I didn't eat there it was nicely busy with people doing so and the food looked great .. and as a couple of bonuses for me as someone just calling in for a drink, there were seats available and the pub didn't smell of food (something I dislike) All good!

Poor service, mistake after mistake and the state of the place is appalling. Cold food, wrong orders, the staff could not have cared less.

Ordered expecting hot food. It came cold enough that I expect they got it out a fridge.

Amazing meal tonight and had fast and attentive service at the bar even though it was busy. Usually come solo this time I came with a friend had a great time. Great service by charlie at the bar

Quiet when we came so got a great table with a view of the harbour. Good tasty quality food for the price, and nice friendly service as well.

Excellent pub grub at this quayside watering house. Staff always polite and welcoming too

Had a great lunch really tasty, turkey was amazing was served by the most delightful lady really helpful, The deserts were sooo tasty

Took my husband for a meal at The Antelope for the first time as normally go with a friend but she was unwell. My husband loved it the same way l do. Fabulous food and friendly and attentive staff. Always a real pleasure to dine here. Already looking forward to my next visit. Many thanks to all who made our evening such a pleasure. See you soon Sue B x

Had fish and chips the chips were cold and the mushed peas it has gone down hill won't be going back I said to the barmaid dinner was cold all she said was sorry eat the fish meal cost me 12 80

Popped in for a snack & a drink on a sunny afternoon, to find the garden in a disgusting state. They've just spent money on new tables and chairs with parasols but what's the point if you are going to leave it like this...

Bit like a crèche. Cheap beer and average food.
