Poor service, mistake after mistake and the state of the place is appalling. Cold food, wrong orders, the staff could not have cared less.

Food was OK but not great. Service was dire got offered a free drink to compensate.

Lots of things not available, changing hands so there was a no bothered atmosphere!!

It's ok if you're staying at the premier inn and you're happy to compromise quality for convenience. It was very busy on a summer weekend in June. Fully booked on the Friday so pre book if you can. The whole restaurant could do with a refurb and seems very tired.Overall, not great, but convenient if you can get a table.

Holes Bay Table Table will be closed to the 'WALK IN PUBLIC' from Thursday 4th of July 2024.

Great menu lots of choice at good value. Staff friendly and efficient. Food was very tasty and arrived piping hot.

Not a particularly busy Monday. How is it possible that a restaurant doing a breakfast buffet cannot accept two people walking in? Plenty of available tables. Horrible experience.

Booked table for breakfast at 10am. Arrived to a large queue waiting to be seated with no staff around. Waited 10 minutes. In that time saw a member of staff moving chairs, another sitting on a break (I think, fair enough) and no one else one. Obviously no staff and no one to inform customers. We left and got macdonalds!!!

The food was good, there service was ok. We'd had trouble booking in the night before as the premier Inn was full. It seems to be that the pub can't cope with a full hotel. Both the premier Inn and the pub are a bit dated and need a good paint job. The servery for breakfast was very small, but breakfast was good and plates hot.

Worst experience possible. I have to stay here for three weeks for work. The restaurant was unable to serve food before I left for work one day. The next day to make life easier for the restaurant and to guarantee my lunch - made advance reservations for each day until the end of my reservation (over 2 weeks). Same food, at the same time. What could be easier than that? The next day - nothing was ready. My only warm meal of the day, btw. Just an incredible level of incompetence

OK if you are staying in the hotel next door.

There was quite a wait for our food, but it was very nice. They also accept blue light card. There was plenty of parking.

Turned up 4.10 told no spaces for 2 until 6.15 went outside booked table for 4.15 walked back in and was seated straight away 🤔🤔🤔🤔obviously didn’t like the look of us

Had a lovely dinner party for ten family members. Everything was on point but one thing in particular really stood out. Our Server Kevin went out of his way to ensure the occasion was faultless. His wonderful table service and endearing treatment of all the guests clearly showed his passion for his work. Im sure Kevin is a highly valued member of Staff. Food and service ok just a bit slow, was fairly quiet Sunday afternoon

We enjoyed an excellent Sunday Lunch for a family get together. Table service by Jenny was excellent, efficient and friendly.

Ordered 3 starters to share, 40 mins later they arrived, had to use the facilities appeared they hadn’t been cleaned for a long time!!

Hate to start with this but I have worked within the restaurant trade for 13 years, so I know a bit about what I'm saying here... I waited at least 15 mins to be sat, only two parties in front of me. I had no acknowledgment from anyone while I was waiting, including what looked like a manager taking orders on the bar, the lady who sat the two parties before me and the older lady making drinks behind the bar. I was finally seen, I asked how long the wait was on food, I was informed '45minutes', I asked if they were really that busy or understaffed, because It just seemed like a casual Wednesday early evening, the lady said no she just sat a table of ten. I said well I'm ready to order right now, I was waiting long enough to decide what I wanted from there, quite frankly, boring menu, and surely as I'm just a table for one you would do that ticket first, this is the standard procedure in restaurants. Instead she said they do tickets one by one, I guess after thinking about it now, how many microwaves can one kitchen fit? Clearly I upset her with my questioning because she told me there is no table until 7:15, which was in an hours times. Tbh I get judged by how i'm dressed, I'm wearing tracksuits, I look young, so they might assume I wont tip? Not trustworthy? My hair was scruffy? Well your server was out of luck, as I tip generously if I have enjoyed the service. I wouldn't of written a review if they didn't have a laminated piece of paper groveling for only 5* star reviews as everything else is a detractor.

Food was okay, bit of a wait and service was a little rubbish. Average, yeah let's say average. You'd take the mother in law there as a family get together, but first date, well it would be the last... but then why would you ne on a first date if you have a mother in law.... I don't want to know lol

Went in for drinks they had barley any drinks in I would of thought they would have been more prepared for the holidays

Ideal stop-off for a late family lunch on 4th April, with 2 young children. We received a friendly greeting on arrival. Staff diligently checked if we had allergies to declare. Meals were enjoyed by all and good value. Waiter (Diego) very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would certainly return if back in the area.

My son chose to go here today to celebrate his 14th birthday with the family and he thoroughly enjoyed it! Excellent service and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back.

Where do you start won't be coming back , I had fajita burger with chilli, I asked where the chilli was ,and told they had run out , so that's why I had coleslaw,I thought that came with coleslaw, fajita burger is it not how it sounds , it tasted like cremated chicken, my partner had gammon egg and chips , eggs not cooked , gammon well at least the dog will enjoy it , hopefully.. toilets please hold your breath half not working and smelt ,and staff uniform, blokes trousers had holes in , well it is holes bay 🤣🤣

Absolutely fantastic Easter lunch with our family and the service from Caz was outstanding.. She did everything possible to make everyone happy so thank you.

Food was made with cheap ingredients but the price tag matched. Waiter was very busy but made us feel comfortable. Average age of clientele around 85.

Waited an hour for our food. People came in after us got there's first. Was told only one person in kitchen. Would have been better to say at the beginning. We're given free desserts but a bit disappointing

Good value for money breakfast everything as you would expect (kids eat free)

Honestly the worst place we’ve eaten in years!! The food took a hour an a half. When it came after asking where it was. It had been sat under the hot light for an age. The gravy on my child’s roast had gone dry and congealed. Also we were missing a meal from the order which took another 20 minutes yes we were offered a drink in compensation. Everyone else’s food was terrible. The roast was made up of microwaved potatoes and veg. The staff on the other hand is a whole different story Unwelcoming rude made to feel stupid when questioning the bill which they made a mistake on. Quite frankly, the manager should not be working in the hospitality sector full stop. No apology no discount on food not even a goodbye stay well clear of this pub.

We were served by Gemma, who was very good, polite and courteous, we had to wait a while for our lunch as it was Mothers Day, but all in all a good visit! We shall return. Great deals too!

The staff were lovely but the roast dinner wasn't good. Fish and chips OK but a bit soggy. The lasagne and pie were nice. Obviously, I didn't personally eat all 4 meals 😁 that was the feedback from the others on my table.

Family gathering for mother's day. Arrived at 5 booked table, was not impressed how slowly the food was coming out, we ordered roughly 530pm..630pm came and still no food had arrived, so after enquiring how much longer to wait..our starter arrived at 7pm after that we had to wait another hour for mains to turn up,after finding out why it's taking so long, (again)whilst people who were coming in to eat at 7pm were getting their food before us ..after finally getting dessert ,we didn't stay to wait for the bill we paid at the bar and we finally left gone past 9pm..

My partner and his friends stayed at the Premier Inn and used Table Table. He came home saying it was really nice and the waitress, Caz, was a really good waitress, that she looked after them well 👏🏻 He was also raving about the meal...

Really good service, the food looked amazing but we just had a nice glass of wine and a coffee. The wine was perfect and the coffee was good. Nice outdoor seating provided and dog friendly

We were a party of four having a Mothers day dinner. Our experience was a mixed bag. Lovely staff and relaxed atmosphere, but the food varied in quality. The starters were fine (prawn cocktail, garlic mushrooms and mac 'n' cheese bites), but the mains were slow to arrive and cold. We had the big stack burger, which was cold, and was sent back. When it came out again it was fine, however chips were overdone. The chicken katsu curry was lukewarm, but passable. We also had two roasts, one just beef, and the other was a trio of beef, turkey and gammon. The beef was underdone, and the gammon was stringy and limp. Both roasts were both lukewarm. Desserts were fine (churros and caramel apple Betty) Overall, will only return if things improve.

I had the smothered chicken dish and was very disappointed. The chicken was dry and the chips were close to being burnt. The service was slow, both at the bar and table, not asked if wanted any sauces.

Lovely relaxing atmosphere and good food. They weren’t able to cook a menu item we chose, so gave us complimentary drink as compensation without us even asking!

Visited this restaurant yesterday evening with my son. Greeted by one of the managers and straight away his manner and customer service was very abrupt felt uncomfortable when he questioned why my son didn't want mayonnaise. My son asked for a lemonade and the manger said no in a sarcastic way. Not impressed at all. Long wait for food and couldn't really wait to leave.

First time here so we booked ahead for Sunday lunch, on arrival we were totally ignored by 3 different staff members before they checked us in. Was taken to a table, the place was filthy! The lady wiped our table over with a damp cloth & walked away! After waiting for 30mins a young girl finally came over and took our order. We then waited another 15 mins before our drinks were brought to us, then another 25 mins before our food came out!! The plates were cold & so was the food. None of it was ‘fresh’, seemed like frozen food that had been heated up. Home cooked by Aunt Bessie maybe! We decided not to stay for any deserts & noticed that other people were either complaining or leaving before their food arrived! We complained on the way out and was told, rather rudely, that they were busy & short staffed! Won’t be returning and would definitely not recommend to anyone.

Went for a meal on Saturday afternoon, it was quiet so not much of an atmosphere. Food was okay, nothing special but it was cheap and cheerful. Food needs an uplift in my opinion but other than that was just a casual meal.

Regular diners here, because of good food, good selection, good price and friendly staff. Jenny and Cheryl are the tops - very attentive, helpful and eager to please. One could not ask for anything more.
