Very Dissatisfied. They're like Gregg's in the way that u may get a hot pasty but u may not. How stupid. The cookie I bought was awfull too. Wrapped up I thought it would be moist but no... bone dry. And possibly out of date.

Everytime we're in area, we go there for a Cornish Pasty. They've got an excellent selection of vegetarian alternatives, which are very good. My favourite however is the traditional one. Our tradition is to stand outside the shop by the traintracks, eating the pasty out of the paper bag and waiting to see if a train will pass by lol

Just been into the shop to buy pasties for both me and my son. I was told that the Cornish pasty for my son wasn't hot and that if I wanted mine heated it is 20% if the pasty price. Staff was very rude and I walked out. It does not cost anything to heat up a cold pasty that they are serving to customer. It not like they are cheap anyway!!! Will definitely not be returning to them as they are greedy and selling everyone cold food!!!

Dear Sir/Madam I have a complaint about the appalling service I received at 12:25 Tuesday 7th November 2023 175 Poole High St Dorset – when I bought 2 Steak Slices for £3.50. They were the last two remaining Steak Slices in the “Hot Counter” glass display – so, on a cold day, I assumed they would be fresh and hot. I paid £3.50 for two although I only wanted one but the price advantage seemed reasonable and I was going the give the other one to a colleague at the NHS Poole Hospital where I work. To my dismay, the two Slices were stone-cold and felt like rubber – they were not fresh – nor freshly cooked – I asked if they could be heated up to make them more palatable – but the manager said there would be a charge of 50p to heat them up. This is ridiculous as the food should be ready to eat there and then rather than 20 minute later back at work where I could have microwaved them making them even more rubbery. So I said forget it – they offered me no refund – and I left empty-handed, still hungry £3.50 ripped off. Never again. Please send refund (do not want voucher) to:

My partner and I used to be regulars here but hadn't been for several years. We went for lunchtime drinks. The pub was busy. As we approached the bar the landlord greeted us in a booming gruff unfriendly voice. He curtly directed us to a high table with stools rather than a nearer more convenient table with chairs saying we would have to sit there. For the hour and a half or so that we were there, no one else sat at that table. After a round of drinks, we ordered a portion of chips. The Landlord, Graham, took the order and abruptly said "I don't know when you'll get them!" However, they were not too long coming, which, turned out to be a pity. I have never had chips like them, and I speak with some authority. They were so sodden with oil that my fingers quite literally dripped with it. When the waitress, Amanda, came to our table we showed her the bowl of saturated chips. She was very sorry that we had been so disappointed and apologised unreservedly saying that no one had complained before. She kindly refunded the cost of the chips. Later in the evening, both my partner and I felt queasy and sick, no doubt the result of our unexpected lunchtime ingestion. Darren and Maggie, the managers, came across as unprofessional, both in their dress and demeanour. I doubt we'll be returning any time soon.
