my mate comes over every Wednesday and up till lockdown we visited here. It has got to be the best place in Poole. the staff were excellent and was really hoping it would reopen.

It's easy to miss this gem in Poole tucked away on the left of one if the Dolphin Centre's exits. We both enjoyed our huge , tasty baked potatoes. Mine was filled with ham & pineapple & topped with cheese. Absolutely delicious! A great place for brunch or lunch at affordable prices.

Walked in as have previously eaten here before.. The previous manager was lovely. However We were standing at the counter.. Three girls one cooking.. Other two simply walked off. Very rude not even busy.. Were not acknowledged so just walked out. Can't see why a business would employ people that can't say hello..went to Starbucks instead if smaller companies don't need the business !

Second time here popped in for lunch whilst shopping, food was delicious big portions well worth the money. Staff really friendly nice and clean everywhere excellent, thanks you.

1st visit here. Plenty of seating up and downstairs. Huge range of fresh ingredients on display to suit every need. My coffee was not and tasty, chicken salad was delicious. Most of all the staff were smiling, cheerful, friendly and helpful and so hard working, without seeming frazzled, they oozed great teamwork. Definitely will revisit and recommend. Good value for money.

Always chose here, the food is always lovely, from a panini to a filled jacket! Coffee is always lovely as well, and my children love the milkshakes and the smoothies!! Only problem is it’s always busy, cause the food is so lovely, so you may have to wait for a table sometimes! But service is always quick and people clear the tables as soon as one comes free!!

Saw this today in Poole just outside the shopping centre. It's very clean staff were friendly and were very quick taking our orders. Our friend ordered a jacket potato with tuna and spinach with a big side salad in a bowl. with coleslaw I had an omelette with bacon and a large bowl of salad and it included coleslaw and my husband had a brown baguette with a side salad . Great value and drinks as well. Would definitely recommend this place .

I go here quite frequently and I'm never disappointed. Majority of the time I have a bbq chicken and cheese panini and it tastes great every time. The portion sizes are great and the it's not too expensive either. The staff are amazing too, great service every time! 😀

First time I’ve been here came with my daughters and granddaughter. We all had jacket potatoes with chicken bacon and leek huge jacket With salad absolutely delicious we all enjoyed them my granddaughter is 9months old and they didn’t charge us for her small sandwich. Would highly recommend food delicious price is reasonable for the portion staff lovely can’t wait to return.

My mum and I had been shopping in The High Street in Poole and looked at café aroma's food menu outside and didn't know to go in there or come back down to Mix Fillings near to the Dolphin Centre, which is now 50 years old a few weeks ago. Mum wanted to look around the Shopping Centre on the way home and we then decided to look in your place for Jacket Potatoes, as I wanted a tasty cheese and beans, however, when we got to Mix Fillings we looked at the menu inside for fillings on the potato, but no cheese and beans, unless I paid £1.25 extra, so I decided to go with the Cauliflower cheese and tomato potato instead. I went off to get a table, since you were busy and mum ordered the Jacket potatoes for us and a diet Pepsi to drink. When she got back to the table mum told me that there was just one Cauliflower cheese and tomato left, but I could choose that or the chicken, broccoli and cheese potato? A member of staff came over with the plates and I went for the Chicken cheese with Broccoli, whilst mum had the Cauliflower cheese and Tomato. The restaurant was very busy with lots of people eating and drinking up and downstairs, with the staff being very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my potato with side salad, since it was very tasty and delicious. I am visually Impaired and the restaurant is small downstairs and a bigger area upstairs. If the weather was nicer and there was nobody sitting outside we would of eaten our lunch on the tables out the front next door to The Dolphin Centre. I would go there again sometime when I am visiting Poole and I had time to eat my lunch whilst waiting for my order to arrive, however, today was quick and efficient. Thank you Mix Fillings.

The food as always is as good as everyone says in the reviews. The staff are always welcoming with a smile ☺ However.... Turns out that the prices have gone through the roof since I last visited about 4 - 6 weeks ago. Our party was 4 in number and paid over £35 for what I believe was not definetly not a good value lunch. The prices have only gone up because of the time of year!!! You will be better off going to Cafe Aroma up the High Street if you want value for money 👍

Absolutely love this cafe. The staff always remember us and make an effort to smile and chat with us. The hot paninis are delicious, fresh and tasty. Jacket Potato are massive and also yummy. The cake selection is always great and the Belgium chocolate cake is amazing! We go to Poole especially for a Mixed Fillings!

Probably preferred choice when needing lunch. You walk in and greeted with the glass displays and the food looks amazing. Never seen a jacket potato look like that. Great choice of menu, good size portions. Might just be me but always feel slightly disjointed when ordering. Queue up to order food then queue up again to order drinks and pay, limited space though. Highly recommend

Visited with two grandchildren and enjoyed the busy atmosphere and food. Portion size was a little large for the children, but taste was great. Perhaps some ‘counter side’ guidance for children’s meals would be wise. Otherwise service etc great.

The surroundings are excellent with comfort seats within a majority of the ground floor as there is upstairs seating too. The food overall is excellent with good portions if you are that way inclined ;)

I can’t recommend mixed fillings enough. My boyfriend and I have been coming here regularly for a year and the food can only be described as delicious. Between us we have sampled a wide variety of the menu - sausage,bacon and egg baguette,Brie and bacon baguette,tuna mayo jacket potato and cheese and bean jacket potato - and we have only ever had praise for the food we were served. The portions are very generous and there are many options of bread & baguettes to suit every taste. The service is friendly and the cafe is very reasonably priced.

Visited with a friend and our sons for lunch. Lovely as always. I come here when fancying a jacket potato, with beans and a side salad. If you're not a big eater, I recommend having only half, they're HUGE.

Popped in this Wednesday 27th of Dec at lunch time. Normally food good, staff never really very happy but doesn't bother me really. Went in at lunch time and their jacket potatos weren't ready which was fine but me and my other half were greeted by two members of staff arguing over who brought cheese down and couldn't stop to acknowledge us for a second. When I did get to ask about jackets one woman rolled her eyes and abruptly exclaimed they'd be ready I half an hour. We left and went to cafe aroma which was the BEST IDEA. Like I said food is normally nice and will try again but staff have never been very happy to be working.

I come to the one by the post office in the centre every Sunday morning and they are always so efficient and friendly! Thanks!

You are greeted first by lovely half filled jacket potatoes, a display of satisfying salads and fillings, delightful cakes its a real eye pleaser. They do a nice selection of drinks and food. The portion sizes are great you get decent size of side salad. The omelettes are thick and tasty.The breakfast is also very good. The place is very clean and comfortable. We like to sit upstairs and people watch. I want to run there now!

I asked Christine if she could make a chocolate cake for my sons birthday as her cakes are just the best. At short notice, I must admit! She agreed and made an amazing cake, (which turned out bigger than expected) filled with love and flavour. A big thumbs up from all who tasted it. I would definitely recommend coffee and cake at Mixed Fillings. Thank you so much

I have been going to this shop for a long time and it never fails to impress. if you love Jacket potatoes then this is the place for you. you can even make them healthy(ish) as the butter comes on the side. They have always had the biggest Jackets and always offer a filling lunch!!

Great food, lovely ladies working here. They know how to make great food. The quiche is home made, and the best I have eaten for a long time !!

I visit mixed fillings weekly with family. Always top noch food. There is plenty of variety and they cater for all your needs.From jacket potato's, to homemade quiche, amazing baguettes and scrummy breakfasts they do it all.All the staff are friendly and offer great customer service.Good value for money.See you next week!

Popped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Plenty of tables for such a deceptively small place.The food was nice for the price. Salads were fresh and chips crispy and not too oily.

We went in for lunch just for a change , well not really have been regulars for over 20 years. Everyone knows where to find us on a Saturday Morning for the best Breakfast in Poole , great service friendly faces and a Menu that caters for all , may "Mixed fillings"continue to be there for us ,well done keep up the good work

This restaurant is absolutely amazing every time i come in here the food is amazing portions are huge and good value for your money the staff are brilliant to I highly recommend this place to everyone

On 3 different weekends I went in here and had a cheese salad (well at least asked for one). In week 1 at 1pm they had run out of tomatoes, In week 2 they had run out of Lettuce at 12.30pm and the third week I had to sit on a dirty table practically throughout my lunch and yes got pineapple as a substitute for another unavailable item. How on earth can you run out of salad ingredients so early do they not have a fridge? I consider Mixed Fillings well over-priced for what you get and a terrible shortage of staff. I gave them 3 chances, I shouldn't have bothered. I certainly wont be going back.

Today was the second time we visited this establishment, the first time we ordered a baguette and a salad, we were told that they had run out of tomatoes. When the food arrived the salad had slices of pineapple on it, not the thing you expect on a salad. Today we ordered a cheese baguette with lettuce, onion and tomato, we were promptly told they had run out of lettuce. This is terrible seeing as it was lunch time, we also ordered a bacon and egg baguette. After about 10 minutes we were told they had run out of baguettes but had put some more in the oven and would be another 10 minutes. When they had arrived the cheese baguette was not as we had ordered, just tomato and onion seeing as there was no lettuce but with coleslaw, carrot and cucumber thrown on as well. This was sent back to be rectified, the young waitress who brought it to the table was abrupt when we said the order was wrong.

I have had the chicken, ham, cheese and pineapple; bacon, mushroom and cheese, and cauliflower, bacon and cheese, All served with side salad. Good, simple but lovely food, that always leaves me full up. My one gripe is the 35p payment of chip and pin over free for contactless. I give cash, it takes them longer than what chip and pin would ... so counteracts their scheme! Other than that, a lovely place for lunch and becoming a regular eatery as it's close to my work.

Visited this restaurant at a busy lunchtime and found the downstairs full but there was free space on first floor. It was clean and the food good with plenty of salad. I was very surprised however that when I went to pay with a credit card I was informed that unless it was contactless there would be a surcharge of 35p. Mine is chip & pin so I paid in cash. In my opinion a backward step to demand contactless cards which if lost can be used by anyone.

Why on earth would you sell frozen jacket potatoes.Terrible. Staff lovely.Cafe clean.But a reheated frozen jacket potato! !. Really.

My friend and I both ordered a Monster breakfast each, it's really was a monster breakfast.... size was huge, well cooked, hot, and came with fresh hot toast and a large hot drink! We both struggled to eat it all, but it was by far the best breakfast I've had! Great value for money, service was excellent with friendly staff! Very clean eating area and toilets were very clean too! Will definitely be going back! Highly recommended!

Popped in Saturday lunchtime, had jacket potato which had plenty of salad, was very nice, salad was fresh, staff friendly and empty tables, cleared and cleaned quickly, the cakes looked lovely but was to full up to try one, will definitely be back though when we are shopping in Poole.

Visited this cafe with a friend, arrived at 12h20, waited and finally received food at 13h10. I suppose with it being lunchtime this was to be expected - ok - but our order was mixed up at the till and finally had to be redone because we were given the wrong numbered spoon. Queuing to order food was ok but it was not apparent that after ordering you joined yet another queue to pay and get drinks. Layout of cafe is poor and very difficult to get to tables or through the line of those waiting to access seating area. When the food arrived it was very, very good, large portions, hot and tasty, the jacket potato was done to perfection however, I cannot see how someone who works in Poole can tolerate this wait everyday - a once in a while treat - saying it is disorganised does not describe it enough at lunch time.

Popped in yesterday around 4pm with my mum, the service was great as always, I fancied some chips but the fryer had just been turned off as it was late, but the lady said that is was no problem at all and cooked me some. Me and my mum always go in Mixed Fillings every time we go in to town, the staff are always really friendly and the food is always great, the cakes are to die for, I believe that they are homemade on the premises and they taste just like you would make at home! actually much better! I would totally recommend eating here, the staff are lovely and so is the food.

Whether it be cooked breakfast , a jacket potato or a ham salad roll it is always good . Oh yes and the cake is awesome too .

We popped into mixed fillings as when I lived in Poole it was a favourite haunt , gosh how that has changed not a smile from any member of staff the food arrived we ordered 2 jacket potatoes one with just cheese and one with cheese and beans the beans were slopped in a small dish which had gone everywhere and for £14 for 2 potatoes and a tea and coke it's a rip off ...... staff should smile more and be more pleasant. ....

Came in with my little one over lunch time after previously being here. Very satisfied on both visits. The food is excellent and comes in huge portions! The staff are non-stop and work so very hard and still manage to find the time to be chatty, polite and friendly!! I have also seen waitresses and kitchen staff deal with mistakes and complaints very well. Both visits were on a Saturday and on both occasions i have witnessed the same lady receive help from members of staff to sit down and get out of her seat, as she struggles to do it alone. Would highly recommend to anyone!

We ordered 2 Panini's that were fabulous! Huge portions. Also ordered something not on menu for the little one and were happy to oblige. All staff were amazingly helpful and cheerful. Food came VERY quickly and price wise, it's definitely cheaper than starbucks around the corner. I definitely recommend supporting this local business and I'm more than happy to recommend it to anyone.

After finally getting the lady to understand my order! We still didn't get what we asked for??? I asked for a panini bacon ,Brie and cranberry, also a chicken and cheese baguette , no salad on either and two basic hot chocolates. Ended up paying £5:50 for each food order, and getting the bacon and Brie on a baguette, when I said this was ordered as a panini the waitress dropped it on the table and said it was....then just walked away. The drink orderes I thought were easy but she got confused and said one coffee and a chocolate? Nobody came in after us so no orders had been put through! But somehow another member of staff came out shouting toasted tea cake?? Nobody claimed it , but she just went to the table next to ours and asked if they would like a free one? Of course they did! Not sure why other customers where left of her selection??? Rude miserable waitress, not value for money will not be returning.

This is my favourite place to get lunch in Poole when shopping. Right next to the dolphin centre so very convenient.Although simple, there are lots of possible combinations and food is served with a generous side salad and coleslaw.Would recommend the curry baguettes!

I was with a friend of mine and thought we could just grab a couple of baguettes and coffee to take away from the shop within the shopping centre. We had the sausage and bacon served in a standard pre baked baguette and two coffee's. The service was ok and friendly enough the sort of thing you would expect. The bill however wasn't what to expect! Just under £13! It wasn't anything special we ordered. I know the prices are on display but I just didn't take notice. Next time its Greggs for me, half the price for the same thing!

It seemed that there was a good choice of food when we first went in but actually it's just an over-complicated menu - you can't even get a bowl of soup or a salad - just baked potatoes, omelettes and sandwiches with a salad garnish.I ordered a baked potato with beans and cheese - when it finally arrived after a very long wait, the potato arrived with a bowl of beans and a bowl of cheese and a pot of butter ready for me to make up!! Unfortunately, the potato was rotten and so I took it back and the member of staff really wasn't happy that I'd returned it but did put another order through.In the meantime, my husband had eaten his stilton roll - literally a roll with a chunk of stilton in it - dry and uninteresting.We wouldn't return here - the staff are disinterested, the food not good and it's expensive too.

We've been in to this cafe a couple of times in the last month. The food is prepared to your order, very tasty large portions and so reasonably priced. It's always very busy and the staff work really hard to get all the orders out quickly. We will definitely be going back.

We popped in here after a busy days shopping. The staff are unbelievably rude not a smile in the house. The food was average we were spoken to extremely rudely by an old member of staff who struggled to understand what an egg salad was. We will avoid coming here ever again.

Visit every Saturday. Great choice of food. I love the banana cake. They have not made it for a while but it was there this week made specially as I had asked about it. Also best tea, they use twinings breakfast.

My friend and I go here at least once a month, the food breakfast is cooked to order and quickly served, not had lunch but there is a lot of choice, plenty of seating, the only downside is all the shouting of numbers when food is ready. Overall a nice place.

I used to have lunch here regularly.Took some friends here for lunch in town as we all fancied a sandwich.It was awful. Bread was not fresh and the filling was tasteless.. Not to fond of the waitresses shrieking order numbers throughout our visit either. Staff were quite rude too. Shame

I have to admit I was a bit aprehensive at first but when the food is freshly cooked, the portions are giant size. I had a bacon&cheese omelette with chips, salad and a coffee, all for about £8. They also have a delicious range of puddings prepared on the premises, so all in all I recommend this place to grab a bite between exhausting shopping rounds :)

Ordered a cheese and ham baguette. Cheese a grated mess of tastelessness and very salty. Bread quality poor and ham dry. Paid £7.50 for this and a coffee. Poor value for money. Worst of all was the constant shouting out of customer's number orders throughout, I had to make a quick escape as it was too much. Bland tasteless food and my friends omelette looked a crepe. Never again.

This is definitely the best place in town for a BIG breakfast at a great priceI can not comment on the other food items but if its a breakfast your after then head here you wont be disappointed

Went in today for a jacket potatoe with ham cheese and pineapple, found a cube of ham, half a slice of pineapple. The salad was disgusting, potatoe salad with some sort of curry sauce with pasta. The lady serving the hot drinks never looked at me at all. I felt so sick, I left my meal and had to go away. I also had to wait 15 minutes to be servec.

Stopped here for brunch its as cheap for a breakfast and a coffee as it is for a sandwich everything cooked to order and cakes were homemade and very fresh and staff were very freindly all in all a pleasant stop.

I brought my parents here because I normally find the food and service to be good. The baked potatoes and panini were good. However the salad that came with them, that is to say all three had greenfly on the salad. I did not want to make a fuss as my father is diabetic and had to eat something, the table was dirty and I had to ask for it to be cleaned. I also felt the service wasn't as good as my last visit. Such a shame, maybe it was a one off? Overall I would say order without any salad and take it away. If we had done that I would have given a four star.

In Poole for a graduation - stumbled across Mixed Fillings by chance - so glad we did :) service and food very good!

i go to this cafe 3 times aweek with a family member and it never fails to suprise me how friendly they are they are so helpfull aswell for a couple of months i was ill the staff could not do enough to help me and make me comfortable i think this has to be one of the best cafe in poole. The food is great fresh and cheap wouldnt go anywhere else so a big thank you to all the staff at mixed fillings

we go to this café 3 times a week and because we have a disability they bring our order to us , everyone is so friendly,the food is plentiful we cannot fault it at all.

Went to this cafe again today and again was not disappointed. A great cup of twinings tea. All cakes are backed on the premises. With the panine we had a choice of three breads all served with a smile.Don't over look this cafe for a poor corner cafe because it is a little gem that is well worth a look in.

I would like to begin by saying I always frequent this establishment when I am shopping in Poole and the food is ALWAYS very good and superb value for money....BUT...I was completely unprepared for the attitude of the middle aged woman with the dark hair who was working behind the counter on Sunday lunchtime..she took me so by surprise with her impatience and rudeness, snapping at me (there was no queue at all)... If I did not know the food was so good I would have promptly walked out..so to the woman who served me today....you are lucky I cooled down enough not to speak to the manager in person....you have lost a very loyal customer.

There's a big selection of sandwiches, baguettes, paninis, jacket potatoes and omelettes with a variety of fillings, and all come with salad and coleslaw. Good portions, food comes quick, and definitely good for less than £5 a person. The cakes look great so will definitely be back soon to try them!

Such a busy little place.Always plenty to choose from, and if your choice is temporarily unavailable, it'll be ready shortly.If we come into Poole with friends we have no qualms about bringing them here.Good food at good prices.

there are two cafes in poole in and out of the shopping centre. they are both great when you are in town . you can choose from a large lunch,a quick sandwich,a sweet treat or just a beverage. the prices are reasonable and the staff work hard to make sure you get what you want. the cafe in the shopping centre is limited in its seating area so best to go to the other one during lunchtime. the toilet facilities are a bit basic but that is my only complaint.

Well fancied a cold snack and saw this venue. Not visited before and so was hopeful. Didn't take long to be disappointed, the menu board is swamped with too much information that it is just confusing and was told there would be a 25 minute wait on chips due to then shutting it off. Ok, so I had a cold snack but then when I went to pay for the £15 baguette I was informed there was a 3rd charge for using my card. I was told I could use the cash point across the square tho! I thought it was a shame as the decor was quite nice but then when all the staff hovered because they wanted to finish early it left a feeling that this is not a place I would be coming back to

Been here several times.Huge choice and fillings are bursting out all over the plate. Unlike some other companies.Average spend was £6 head for main course and drink. Didn't need any more to eat.

YThe staff are pleasant and proffesional, the choice is huge, I like the fact that the kitchen is in the cafe so you can see your food prepared,They also cater for all tastes ,meat eaters vegetarians and dieters.The place is always busy but the staff make you feel at home and best of all the prices dont break the bank,
