We went for dessert, but they also did savoury waffles. If I hadnât already had lunch, I would have loved to try a savoury waffle too. The customer service was good and you could customise your waffle (my friends shared one and split the toppings 50/50). The waffle options were great!! All waffles could be done gluten and vegan. There were lots of gf/v toppings too. Itâs not easy to make a good quality gf waffle, so itâs great that they managed to make one thatâs a good quality. Usually, if you go to a dessert lounge, you feel sick afterwards. I had a full-sized waffle (gf) with vegan chocolate spread (like vegan Nutella) and chopped nuts. It was brilliant, not too sweet, but a nice treat (I havenât had a waffle in a long time, but those used to be one of my fave desserts). If you like very sugary desserts, there are plenty of options, but if you just want a light treat, then they have plenty of options.

The Eden Project - itâs fantastic!!The tropical rainforest pod gives everyone a chance to experience plants from equatorial areas. Avoid the cool room as it isnât the most hygienic of places. The plants are spectacular however. The temperate Mediterranean pod shows an array of spectacular plants and is a must!A wonderful day out...

Personally I love their cheese and onion pasties, probably one of the best I have ever tasted, I also would like to say that their cakes are delicious- would really recommend a visit.

Iâm not joking you, I have never in my entire life had a breakfast sandwich as good as the one here, food and drink wise this is probably my favourite place to go when Iâm happy to have an unhealthy day, but even for a black coffee or something the vibes in here are excellent! Unfortunately it seems to be closed indefinitely, I really hope itâs not closing down because it would be a massive shame to put it lightly!

Went on a Wednesday which wasbtrust tge chef, the lady and gent there working were very attentive, not to the point of annoying as can happen. Food was lovely. Had a shock at the price of the bread and smoked butter we were offered upon being seated . Did think ÂŁ8.60 was steap for the small amount we had. Overall bill for 3 courses, bread, 1 wine, bottle of sparkling water and 1 beer ÂŁ209.95. Would go again.

Not the best Michelin star restaurant visited. Had the set menu and wine flight. Food OK but very small portions. Steak the size of a matchbox and served 2 people! Service seemed unprofessional. Apparently Puglia wine comes from Spain as described by the waitress serving the wine flight. The cheese board arrived but no knowledge of what the cheeses were and certainly no idea as to how to cut and serve cheese

We visited the Ship Inn on wed 9th April for dinner... Lovely pub ..warm welcome as soon as we arrived ...we took our 2 dogs... we had the specials steak and Ale suet pudding h... the vegan stuffed portbello mushroom ..both were delicious....I had to take half of my suet pudding home as it was very big...we had to have the obligatory sticky toffee pudding and Apple and blackberry crumble for dessert...both were very good... very pleasant eve...St Peters historic church was just opposite and we wished we could of visited but unfortunately it was closed by the time we came out of the pub.... Would definitely return again âșïž

For some reason we waited for years to experience this wonderful place and so wish weâd done it sooner. It was a Xmas present from our daughter as Iâd always thought it rather expensive without even checking it out properly. For the fine and extremely delicious dining experience we had, I personally think it was very reasonable (maybe not somewhere to go every week, but definitely to be considered for that special night out). The food, service and venue all exceeded our expectations and we will definitely go again in the near future. It will be fascinating to look out their windows across the Hoe in different seasons.

Donât bother, service very slow and it wasnât even busy, when we remind them we were still waiting we were told we havenât even started your order thanks for reminding us! lunch food was very average. Wouldnât bother again, shame as a lovely location.
