Delicious food, fabulous wine and brilliant customer service. Would love to come back soon to try the ‘trust the chef’ menu. The smoked butter was the most delectable thing to ever grace my tastebuds.

I’m not joking you, I have never in my entire life had a breakfast sandwich as good as the one here, food and drink wise this is probably my favourite place to go when I’m happy to have an unhealthy day, but even for a black coffee or something the vibes in here are excellent! Unfortunately it seems to be closed indefinitely, I really hope it’s not closing down because it would be a massive shame to put it lightly!

Fabulous restaurant. The food and service out of this world, We ordered plates to share and the duck was so good (melted in the mouth) we ordered it again! Booked in for Sunday lunch next week and can’t wait to go back. Best meal I have had in a long while,

Really wonderful pub, with great decor and lovely staff. The highlight for me and my girls was Sadie the kitty ❤️ will definitely be returning x

We visited the Ship Inn on wed 9th April for dinner... Lovely pub ..warm welcome as soon as we arrived ...we took our 2 dogs... we had the specials steak and Ale suet pudding h... the vegan stuffed portbello mushroom ..both were delicious....I had to take half of my suet pudding home as it was very big...we had to have the obligatory sticky toffee pudding and Apple and blackberry crumble for dessert...both were very good... very pleasant eve...St Peters historic church was just opposite and we wished we could of visited but unfortunately it was closed by the time we came out of the pub.... Would definitely return again ☺️
