We went here one Tuesday lunch time me my husband daughter and two grandchildren. We arrived and were shown into a conservatory part very nice. We were served with our drinks very quickly and were given the menus. The lady came and took.our order and a little while later the food arrived. Our meals were excellent couldn't fault them at all. All in all a lovely place and great staff. Will definitely return. Anne walker

You can eat as you wish here. Either a full meal or some really interesting snacks. Our favourite is the cheese on toast or mushrooms on toast. Such a lot of flavour. Service is always attentive and friendly. We notice there are some regulars too which says a lot.

This was our second visit to Connor's Feast night. Chefs table with exquisite flavours, unique combinations for every course. Those who love their food and have an open mind will not be disappointed. Our 15 year old for whom fish and mushrooms would not be his first choice devoured the fish course and was looking for more. Quality food fantastically prepared and expertly cook equals a must visit.

In Bampton, Devon late on a Saturday night with limited food options...Googled, and found, Buddys. Excellent egg burger and chips from the friendly owner, a true life saver 🙂

We got a warm, easy welcome from Caroline which made us feel immediately at home in their beautiful B&B. To call it a B&B though doesn’t do it justice. The room was very cosy and basically faultless. We spent the most gorgeous evening sat by the wood burner that had been lit for us downstairs ready for our complimentary tea and homemade (beyond delicious) scone and tart on arrival. Breakfast was another treat, consisting of very good attention and the most amazing ethically sourced produce. Caroline and Nigel have developed a very special place and we will definitely be return customers.

I visited this tea room whilst waiting for my bus to Umberleigh. After travelling from Preston, Lancashire I was happy to be able to relax with a coffee. The staff were really friendly and the place had a great vibe. City life can be a bit hectic so it was refreshing to visit this little tea room and we were even tempted with cake which was delicious!

While staying at a cosy cabin in Morebath, we decided to walk over to Bampton for Sunday lunch. Just as we set off, the heavens opened, and we arrived at The Swan soaked to the skin, with soggy shoes and blistered feet. Despite our bedraggled state, we were welcomed warmly and treated to the most incredible Sunday roast – we both chose the chicken option, and it was hands down the best we've ever had (and we've had many!). Every element on the plate was rich, bursting with flavour, and cooked to perfection. After our meal, I asked about getting a cab back to the cabin, but the Sunday rates were eye-watering. Just as we resigned ourselves to the painful walk back, the owner kindly offered us a lift, which we gladly took her up on. That level of genuine hospitality is rare these days and truly appreciated. The food alone would have made this a memorable experience, but the exceptional service made it truly special. The Swan is a gem – you absolutely must visit!

Nice pub, cosy, friendly, but just launched a new menu and food was pretty terrible. I had a fish fillet with pesto crumb...the crumb top was awful tasting and the fish was tasteless. I asked for veg instead of salad which had zero flavour and was overcooked. My partner's battered cod and chips was greasy and the chips were just husks. Real shame as it seemed to be a nice family run pub but food was a real let down. Sorry. If they needed more time to heat fryers up to temp...we would have waited.

Popped in on a break from work for a spot of lunch ordered the big breakfast £6.25 which I feel is great value for money out came large plate looking amazing with 2 sausage 2 bacon 2 eggs lots of juicy baked beans mushrooms 2 halves of grilled tomato and 2 hash browns and a side plate with two slices of buttered toast!! All for £6.25 (puts their neighbours Wetherspoons to shame) and a mug of delicious filter coffee for an Extra £1.80 bargain food was delicious. This wasn't the biggest breakfast on their menu (I usually go big but trying to be healthy) I am stuffed after that one!! I will certainly be returning here Note: it is cash or bank transfer only payment accepted
