We stumbled across this tea room during a visit on the Seaton Tram today. This place is a real find, the food is fantastic. Had homemade soup & my friend had Quiche Lorraine. Loved meeting Brioche and Trevor too. Please do support this local business, they deserve every success. Thank you and we will see you again soon.

Huge disappointment. Be warned! What is on offer is nothing like what is shown on website. Had to wait three quarters on an hour and then had to prompt for menu. Young staff very pleasant but untrained for restaurant work. Had to ask for condiments and table water. Had three different mains and all equally mediocre. Would not recommend. Very different from the divine food service and bon homie of the previous owners.

Aunque un tranquilo restaurante Lillie la comida y el personal es genial. Es fácil de encontrar y de acceso. También tienen habitaciones que conozco son encantadores.

Stopped here for a quick lunch. they only serve pasty’s or sausage rolls hot , comes with no side salad or crisps like others usually do but was very nice all the same . it was empty when we got there but soon filled up . lovely garden to sit in also . friendly service. we will return .

This place is very much a locals place. Open mike night on when we visited. Not many customers Very old run down and drab. Manager was friendly enough to start but then when we had bought a drink was only interested in his locals. Drinks expensive for the type of place. Ok for one drink but no atmosphere. Wouldn’t visit again

Made a trip to the Kingfisher following a recommendation. I was rather disappointed…… Myself and husband attended yesterday with our 2 small dogs for a quick bite to eat and a drink. We was shown to our table with was crammed in a corner the waitress didn’t even ask if the table was ok which is always something we would expect. There was no mention that dogs could be catered for and we had to use our own water bowl as none supplied given you advertise at the bar there is a dog menu this was no obvious at the table. There was no ice in my soft drink either given it was a warm day too this was rather surprising. Food was rather basic and the chips were dry. Lack-of customer service and attention to detail was missing from this trip. It’s not a place we will be looking to return to.

We had such a lovely evening…friendly and attentive staff, great menu with a selection of vegan options so was very happy. We both had burgers one vegan and one beef with pulled pork and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and will be visiting again

Friends who live locally booked dinner for 7pm on 30th November. When we turned up we were told that the pub wasn’t serving food. The barmaid was very apologetic, but when the owner turned up he was very rude and even tried to make out it was our fault, even though we had received an email confirming our booking. Mistakes can happen, but it’s how you deal with them that counts, and the owner was very unpleasant and aggressive, so we won’t be going back. Luckily the tapas restaurant down the road was open and couldn’t have been more welcoming.
