The best restaurants in Coly Valley East Devon South West

We had an amazing stay at the Bear Bread Bakery B&B! The place is lovely and quirky, really well located and the owners made us feel super welcome. Breakfast was also outstanding - perfect way to start the day!

A beautiful spot on the riverside with lazy Sunday music playing. A good vibe going on. Very friendly service, can't do enough, even gave me a plaster! Tea and coffee tasty. Comfy seats. Very pleasant atmosphere.

If a company or attraction has a website one could assume that they would bother to keep it up to date. Sadly we traveled to visit today, having checked online that it was open, only to find both the tramway and cafe was closed. Two very sad grandchildren, two embarrassed grandparents and mum and dad were less than impressed as well. In this day and age one can only suggest that it is amateurish at best. Never mind we will spend our money elsewhere and will avoid a return visit.

A very nice family business. Fish and chips were very tasty and OK for the price. Here you can only pay in cash! There is no ATM in town!

Superb service great ambiance for a bar. We had Cobb salads and their crab cheese melt thingie. Always a great place.

This Cafe is a nice place with ample car parking and from a bikers perspective its great because its all level tarmac which makes it so much easier to manoeuvre our bikes. The toilets were modern and spotless, the Cafe is easy to access and staff are pleasant and service is great the breakfast offerings were very nice, a tad on the pricey side but it is a very nice venue. We will return for sure.

Very friendly greeting from the staff, We had the English breakfast and coffee, the food came very quickly and was piping hot. The ingredients were very good quality, we would not hesitate to recommend the Grazing Cow and would use again when in the area.

We stumbled across this tea room during a visit on the Seaton Tram today. This place is a real find, the food is fantastic. Had homemade soup & my friend had Quiche Lorraine. Loved meeting Brioche and Trevor too. Please do support this local business, they deserve every success. Thank you and we will see you again soon.

Huge disappointment. Be warned! What is on offer is nothing like what is shown on website. Had to wait three quarters on an hour and then had to prompt for menu. Young staff very pleasant but untrained for restaurant work. Had to ask for condiments and table water. Had three different mains and all equally mediocre. Would not recommend. Very different from the divine food service and bon homie of the previous owners.

Return visit after last years stay. Still the same warm welcome and the facilities are clean and tidy. Pam kindly gave us the same pitch as last year which was nice.

A super little cafe with a wide menu and very friendly staff. The tram station is picture perfect and always looks lovely whenever we visit. Recommended.

First visit, having been recommended by a family member. We were not disappointed. Enjoyed a lovely butternut squash soup with cheese toastie. Delicious and reasonably priced. Also enjoyed a wonderful flat white coffee. We were visiting for the day from Dorset and will definitely be back.

Really was one of the best burgers I've ever had, No BS, order the ultimate cheese burger 🤤

Stopped here for a quick lunch. they only serve pasty’s or sausage rolls hot , comes with no side salad or crisps like others usually do but was very nice all the same . it was empty when we got there but soon filled up . lovely garden to sit in also . friendly service. we will return .
