Such a wonderful shop that takes you back to your childhood with old fashioned sweets plus all your classic modern day sweets……there must be over 500 different sweet lines! It’s certainly not an easy choice to decide what you’re having! They also do absolutely fantastic ice cream milkshakes…..they are a must try! My daughter loves the smoothies. American sodas & drinks available. Fresh local fudge. Locally supplied ice creams. Friendly smiling staff a truly wonderful experience

Good ole fashioned local pub atmosphere (Sky football is available if that’s your thing). Great simple local food done brilliantly well. Burgers & pies are to absolutely die for!!!! Friendly staff and room to camp overnight free parking in our campervan too with the choice of electrical hookup for only £5 (if wanted). Dog friendly too with two of their own four legged friends. Great experience - would highly recommend supporting Colin @ The Butchers Arms!!!! Thank you 👍🎉

No bread for sandwiches but said they could do the homemade quiche which was listed as coming with salad and bread. It may as well have come on a side plate, a very small piece of soggy quiche, a pathetic amount of iceberg lettuce with 3 or 4 cherry tomatoes cut into small pieces and half a slice of bread is not a lunch.

Used to be a favourite stop, but really disappointed this week to find that the menu of good, fresh food (what else, for a farm shop?) had been pared back to pasties, filled croissants and sausage rolls and the like. Gone were the soups & sandwiches. No vegan options.

I had dinner alone in a really friendly restaurant. I had a couple of starters to keep room for the delicious pudding! Heritage tomatoes with goats cheese were fab and the dusted squid was really perfectly done. The staff were helpful and attentive without being overbearing. Summer pudding to finish was one of the best I have had. Delicious!

I was having my motorhome serviced in the village and had a whole day to kill. The leaflet was in the waiting area so I gave it a try. Lovely full English breakfast, cooked perfectly, very nice quality coffee and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere. Ordered a second coffee and hung a round for a bit with no feeling like you weren't welcome. It was so nice and the service was first class and came with a smile that a added a toasted teacake and a third coffee to the bill and returned for them early afternoon! Very reasonably priced indeed and an all-round lovely experience!

We've stayed at the Seagrave a few times, though this was the first for a few years. The room was stunning, a little occasional road noise but that's to be expected in a busy little village on a Saturday night! Dinner was brilliant, as was breakfast. The staff we spoke to were all friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

Impressed with this place. Would absolutely return here if lived locally. Very nice atmosphere and decoration and friendly competant staff and Managers. Food was good and well presented. Menu had decent choices. Seemed to offer value for money. A find! Easy to find. There are rooms and will consider these for next trip -I know nothing more.

1 glass of wine, 1 pint, 2 lemonades and a trio of crisps.....£28!!! I live in the village so I'm used to the over inflated sense of superiority associated with the 'Beige Village' set of the area but this is ridiculous. It's not even that nice of a bar (you have to pee in a freezing outhouse), grubby tables and the staff were very course and cold. They have perfected not caring about customers.. Tried to contact the business to get verification that there hadn't been a mistake with the bill; never received the courtesy of a response. Obviously. When all the old folks with more money than sense dissappear this place will be lost.

Used to come here when living locally, at one time Hicks Brasserie. When we arrived there was a tech issue re card payments - no matter, we went to the the nearest cashpoint and obtained funds. Just as well we weren't in any hurry - service was, shall we say, relaxed, to the extent that one of us had to keep going up to the bar to get menus, order drinks, food etc as the staff were definitely in no rush to attend to the sparse number of diners (and there was no-one in the Fig restaurant when we looked). Pretty limited menu, however we'd booked and Chippy was busy so we stayed put. What we had (mains a kind of deconstructed Caesar salad, a couple of puds, plus a drinkie each - no offer of table water) was decent enough but not exactly generous and, given it was a Sunday, sadly no nod to any Sunday fayre. Overall, disappointing - and there are plenty of other options in CC.

This is a really welcome, beautifully renovated addition to the area. A warm and friendly local with stone walls and open fires. Food is very good, modern pub style at a very reasonable price for The Cotswolds. Staff are very friendly and efficient and the clientele are a great combination of locals at the bar, people eating and walkers, cyclists etc calling in for a pint. Been several times since it reopened and all have been good.
