Stopped here for coffee and cake on a cycling tour (as we did last year) and couldn’t be more pleased. A friendly welcome, prompt service, great selection of drinks and cakes and a quiet seating area out the back where we could relax with our bikes in full view. And well maintained public loos over the road. Definitely the best option for cyclists passing through Chipping Campden!

If you want an awesome Cofee (Monsoon Estate’s Roastery) & absolutely DELICIOUS home made cake, then look no further! Off the beaten track in a beautiful converted Cotswolds building just 2/3 minutes from the High Street this Crystal shop/specialty Coffee shop is the BEST in Chipping Campden!!! Trust me you’ll LOVE it!!

What a lovely little secret hidden in the heart of Chipping Campden. A lot of people don’t know it’s there (hint: behind Robert Walsh’ ) but if you love heart warming coffee, delicious cakes and fabulous service then you have to give it a visit. The difference here is that this is also a crystal shop that sells beautiful stones, crystals, books, and oracle cards that suit every budget including plenty of options in the ‘pocket money’ range. If you want hot food there are plenty of other lovely choices in the village but a suggestion if I may…. come here for the ‘after coffee and cake’. A beautiful little Cotswold secret… service with a smile and a crystal in your pocket to keep your company on the journey home. What more could you want!!

This was always the go-to place for cyclists visiting Chipping Campden. My wife and I cycled there today and it is a shadow of its former self. The coffee was OK but not brilliant. There were a few cakes on offer which were pretty tasteless to be honest. No savoury dishes at all so our plans for a nice lunch were spoilt. Toilet facilities no longer offered. I was directed to the public toilets down the road. This will NOT tick the boxes for the regular cycling groups that visit. Please restore the previous level of service ASAP or I am afraid you will go out of business

My wife & I took a walk from our home in nearby Mickleton to visit Campden Coffee Company for the first time yesterday for afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. And what a fabulous treat we had!The cafe itself is homely and Emma & Barry were welcoming. For our afternoon tea we had a selection of sandwiches (Salmon & Cream Cheese, Cheese & Cucumber and Ham), cakes (Lemon Drizzle, Brownie & fabulous homemade Ginger, Treacle and Lime), and finished off with scones (Fruit scone served with jam and clotted cream and a particularly tasty Cheese scone served with cream cheese and onion chutney). We had a pot of tea that Emma topped up with hot water when needed.Everything was freshly made and presented on a three tiered cake stand. Already feeling full and satisfied the owner Emma surprised us by bringing out a lovely bun with a candle in it for me to blow out We hope our photo's prove tempting to other potential visitors. If you are local to the area or will be visiting Chipping Campden and looking for a cafe then we highly recommend Campden Coffee Company.

Chipping Camden has many very good cafés and restaurants, mostly on the High Street, but we were pleased to go to this one in an old mill nearby. We only went for coffees, and they were very good, in the comfortable traditionally furnished room. The food looked interesting and delicious, but we had booked elsewhere. Also in the mill was a very nice gallery, full of the work of a dozen or more local artists and craftsmen, and upstairs a very interesting silversmiths’ workshop with pieces for sale and commissions accepted. Head off the High Street for a great experience.

A lovely little coffee shop, that's very nicely set up with books to borrow. We arrived, and sat down on the two sofas before noticing they were covered in dog hair and the table was filthy however thought that someone would pop over to wipe it over- as all the other tables that were free were dirty too! The menu was stained with food and drink as well. We placed our orders of 3 sandwiches and drinks to a very lack lustre member of staff who clearly wasn't being paid enough to smile, be polite or make any small talk. Our drinks arrived promptly. Around 15 minutes after we initially ordered another table came in and ordered... we then proceeded to wait another 40 minutes for 3 sandwiches and were astounded to see the other table being served about 15 minutes before us. Our sandwiches then came- the salad was good and the bread clearly fresh and nice. The egg mayonnaise tasted like it was made with salad cream and therefore after 2/3 bites it was left. The other sandwiches were very average at best. Plates weren't cleared and not a word when we paid, the lady seemed more concerned about talking to a gentleman behind us - including not even bothering to ask how our food was..Wouldn't recommend and wouldn't return

We recently stayed in Chipping Campden for a week, and luckily discovered this gem on our very first day there! We became regulars, coming in for coffee or tea or a sandwich every day of our Cotswold trip. The coffee was excellent, as was the tea, and we are coffee/tea snobs. ;-) We enjoyed a couple of slices of cake and they were out of this world! And made right there. As if this weren't enough, the staff is friendly and delightful, and the place itself is beautiful. It's comfortable, and attractive--in an old silk mill. I wanted to bring the whole place home (Oregon) with me! Miss you, CCC!

My sister and I recently dropped into the Campden Coffee Company having read the reviews before staying in Chipping Campden. We found it very laid back and relaxing, and I can see why others have written they spent some considerable time there. We were due to book in to our hotel, otherwise I think we may have stayed for a longer period of time also. Anyone on their own would benefit from relaxing with a book or working on the laptop there, without feeling out of place.

Situated on the ground floor of the Silk Mill off Sheep Street in Chipping Campden, this coffee shop is a real find. The Silk Mill, where the Guild of Handicrafts was started in 1902 houses a gallery and artists and is a great place to feel inspired. The coffee shop is welcoming and is a great place to relax with a good coffee and a book or newspaper. (Comfy sofas!)

Stopped in for coffee, nice location comfortable and bright. The tea cakes were nice and we liked the China. The coffee was good, service prompt although busy. Quite noisy, not helped by disgruntled children parked at a table - who seemed to belong to an employee

Small but beautifully formed coffee shop offering a good range of freshly made sandwiches, soup, cakes and light lunches. The staff are very polite and cheerful. An unhurried atmosphere perfect for a relaxing coffee and slice of cake with a newspaper.

... and a giant leap into stellar service and the best - yes THE BEST slice of home-made fruit cake that I have ever tasted! We saw the sign on the High Street, and because the road was blocked off for road works it made us ... yes MADE US follow that sign and see what Campden Coffee was all about. We had tea in lovely tableware mentioned by another reviewer, a lovely looking scone served with butter that might also have been clotted cream, it was so light and creamy ... and the aforementioned fruit cake. The service was lovely, the sofas and coffee tables and books and games and newspapers could easily translate into a whole day here (again, as suggested by other reviewers!), but we'd arrived towards the end of the day and had to make do with carrying the taste of that fruity, nutty, spicy, moist, perfectly baked sensation away with us.

The Campden Coffee Company is quintessentially Middle England set in the beautiful and historic town of Chipping Campden. Presumably most of the buildings in the village have preservation orders on them; if it were possible a preservation order should be slapped on the service offered by the Campden Coffee Company!Three of us dropped by one Sunday morning for coffee and chatted in their comfortable armchairs for so long we stayed for lunch as well! It wasn't particularly busy but it's a bit off the tourist track; you'd only know it was here if you saw the small sign in the village – unless you consulted TripAdvisor first, of course! The café serves excellent coffee and a modest selection of home made food, all with an excellent attitude to service. The menu asks customers for a bit of patience at busy times. The ill discerning TA contributors who have given it one point (thankfully very few on them) because they had to wait too long for their order should stop and consider how hard working private businesses like the Campden enhance our coffee experience and enrich our communities

Lovely owner (?) from Italy. We first came by for a take away tea .... she made homemade lemon/ginger/honey tea that was so good that we came back the next day. Had coffee and porridge which was also excellent. Nicely decorated and loved the mix/match of Burleigh tableware.

My boyfriend and I stumbled across this cafe during a weekend break to the cotswolds. What a find! The staff of three young ladies were all friendly and welcomed us as we walked in. I had the spiced chai latte and my boyfriend had a hot chocolate with the works. Both were silky smooth and came in beautiful cups. We then ordered some lunch - a bacon, brie and cranberry toastie and the veggie quiche. The toastie was lovely but my quiche was cold and not overly tasty. The decor is cute and cosy, so we stayed for another hot drink whilst it bucketed down outside. Lovely service and drinks! Would recommend as a quiet and cosy watering hole!
