We have taken to calling into this lovely little coffee stop whenever we visit Truro by train, being at the bottom of the hill into the City from the Station. Always a smile and friendly welcome, a warm and cosy atmosphere with piping hot Cappuccino makes for a comfy stop before hitting the shops. A real sense of Cornwall with the various magazines and books readily available to read and the cushions and upholstery of Cornish tartan makes for a real traditional Cornish tea room. One of our now regular coffee stops. Give it a try if passing - you won't be disappointed

It was my birthday and four of my friends and myself booked this delightful Tea Room for a light lunch. It was amazing, the presentation, quality and quantity was exceptional. Morwenna is a very attractive and lovely lady, she looked after us very well. The Tea Room itself is very small but this in no way detracts from the calm ambience, I love it and so do my friends. The cakes and scones are to die for, all home made, bone china tea service and nothing is too much trouble. Only downside, there is no room for a toilet as it is situated at the back of the Jewellery shop. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Saw a uber eats picture on face book and thought we would give it a go. Was a quiet Easter Monday in Truro. Seated quickly and asked what we wanted to drink and eat… lady brought us out tap water no dramas and checked back after serving us.. I’ve drank in here over the years so bit weird sitting down for a breakfast.. I dont normally comment on the place and vibe but the seats were really comfortable and it just had a really nice feeling in there. We had x 3 American breakfasts at £11:95 each see pictures. I had poached eggs which were perfectly cooked daughter had scrambled and wife had fried. The breakfast is surprisingly filling, pancakes were lovely and fluffy with a very generous portion of maple sauce… bacon was crispy which I dont mind and the locally sourced sausages were spot on.. hash browns and beans are are what they are. Would go back again or for lunch 100%.

Guaranteed delicious food! This is mine and my family's go to in Truro. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff polite and smiley. We love the quirkiness of the café, and the fact you can browse their lovely shop after your meal (the lifestyle store is found under the café). They have specials and seasonal drinks and the cake selection is always a hit. The salad bowls and sharing platters are a very good portion for the price. Highly recommended, a hidden gem in the city.

Wow what a welcome, what a night, I am one of the Cape Cornwall Singers, I have never experienced such a great welcome and such superb hospitality, the food was simply stunning and the atmosphere exceptionally friendly, my heartfelt thanks and appreciation go to both Landlord & Landlady. Hugh

Wanted to go to here with my small family before theatre as I love the food , won't be making the same mistake again , was relatively quiet but told too busy . we struggled to get a meal anywhere simply because the lounge won't take a booking unless there are 6 of us .... please change your booking system or we wont come back .

My husband loves fudge and had read about Roly's fudge. We saw the store while we was visiting Truro so of course we had to give it a try. I can't understand why any retail store in this day and age would limit their customers to what they buy? Purchased a gift box and was told we could only have 3 flavours. Not an ideal business model at all. Infact none of the 3 flavours we chose was nice. On that basis we will not purchase Roly's fudge again.
