My husband loves fudge and had read about Roly's fudge. We saw the store while we was visiting Truro so of course we had to give it a try. I can't understand why any retail store in this day and age would limit their customers to what they buy? Purchased a gift box and was told we could only have 3 flavours. Not an ideal business model at all. Infact none of the 3 flavours we chose was nice. On that basis we will not purchase Roly's fudge again.

By far the best fudge place I have been to. It is great to see them make the fudge in store and good to know that they are selling you genuine fudge also. Reasonable prices and great selection also.

My 13 yr old wanted to buy his Grandma 200g of fudge with his pocket money - we were told by the man that we could not have 4 different flavours of 50g but just 2 lots of 100g. My Son was then charged £4.90 instead of £4.80. I saw the scales and we did not have excess! This review is our 10 pence worth. Whilst in there I saw an advert for Rolys franchise's ...if you are interested then my guess is that there will soon be a shop empty in Truro if the service remains like this - we have visited MANY Roly's and this is the worst one so far

We love the fudge in here, we don't usually eat fudge but because it's the crumbly type (bit like butter tablet) we indulge when we visit each October. They made our wedding favours too which were a huge hit. Bit hit and miss as to whether they're open though so even during hours stated on the door, don't get your hopes too high, especially out of season.

I have been to The Oxford many times and it never disappoints. The landlady is very nice and friendly and so are the regulars. Every time I've gone in here I've had a laugh. Everyone seems to talk to each other, even if they don't really know you, which I like. It is decorated nice and toilets are always clean. They have a fire inside which is very cosy in winter. Overall, lovely, warm and friendly pub.

Me and my husband stayed here last night and what a wonderful hotel, beautiful room brilliant staff and gorgeous food couldn’t fault them. The cost of the room was real good value for money and the food was also very good value for money. Will definitely be staying again thank you for a lovely stay.

Very much overpriced and my fish and chips were undercooked and soggy very gross will not return don’t recommend to anyone I expected It to cost maybe £8-£9 but no £12.50 I think maybe more than that and the wait was ages went in to collect it and the staff were rude and unhelpful and I was given no cutlery and had to pay for sauces Then I opened the box up outside and it was all soggy and a strange colour very off putting almost looked raw Just ended up eating some of the chips

Had it not been for the fact I was absolutely starving I wouldn’t have eaten this wrap at all. Shame we didn’t see the reviews prior to eating here. Over priced food full of grease, the wait was nearly 50 minutes for a full breakfast and a breakfast wrap with bacon and cheese, which you wouldn’t mind if you were given notice of this, but no warning and with two babies and a toddler this wait time is an absolutel no for most parents. There are not enough adjectives to write how disgusting our breakfasts were.

Found the cafe overpriced and the elderly woman serving very rude. Such a shame as we normally visit every year with our kids. Looe holds special memories for our kids. The day wasn't spoilt but won't visit here again!
