Lovely family cafe and restaurant. Home made pasta being made as we had scones, cakes and teas. Incredibly hospitable. Super seated environment. Very highly recommended. Definitely will come again when in this part of Cornwall. Stunning environment.

Another outstanding meal at Couch's. Not sure if we can count ourselves as regulars but we have made yearly visits for about ten years now and always leave wishing we could get back sooner than our next intended annual visit to Cornwall. Always a much anticipated and integral part of our plans. Enough about us! The crab risotto was an absolute delight. Beautifully presented and perfectly balanced flavours. My venison was melt in the mouth and faultless in preparation - cooked exactly to specification (as discussed with Richard when ordering). My other half was delighted with her chicken tarragon dish. Portion sizes are adequate for the heartiest of appetites. Amuse bouche and desserts also superb. A bientot.

We finally managed a visit to this lovely little restaurant. After many years of visiting Polperro, we got a table, and we were not disappointed! The restaurant being small gets booked quickly, and now we understand why. Excellent food, excellent service, and fantastic staff. A proper family run restaurant. Each course we ate was fabulous. We will be back. Book early!! Next time, we want to try the roast too.. Thank you to all the staff for a great evening!

Bought the sea food platter (£22) crab, prawns, king scallops, squid and fish along side a salad. While the squid and crab were fine the rest of the meal all tasted of oil that was evident on the plate in puddles. The fish, catch of the day was tasteless other than the oily finish. It was almost like the rest of the meal was cooked in a bacon and sausage pan. The restaurant was busy but it’s no excuse for turning out an oil slick on a plate. 🐠🛢

This has to be one of the best little cafe in Looe. I had the best homemade scone with clotted cream ever. My wife has to have Gluten free and she had wonderful lemon drizzle cake, our dog even had a sausage. Lovely friendly owners lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by. Give them a try you wont be disappointed. Graham and Gaye Pengelly Milton Keynes
