The best restaurants serving British food in Looe West and Lansallos Cornwall, Isles of Scilly South West

Recientemente visité la cafetería Wild River en Polperro, y fue una delicia absoluta! Ubicado en la calle principal, esta acogedora cafetería ofrece un ambiente cálido y acogedor. El café recién tostado, de un solo origen es una necesidad - pruebe (¡incluso puede comprar algunos para llevar a casa! ) , y los pasteles caseros son perfectos. El personal era increíblemente acogedor y atento, lo que hace que nuestra visita sea aún más agradable a pesar de que el tiempo era horrible. Sin duda vale la pena pasar por si incluso estás en la zona.

Otra comida sobresaliente en Couch's. No estoy seguro de si podemos contar con nosotros mismos como regulares, pero hemos hecho visitas anuales desde hace unos diez años y siempre nos vamos deseando poder volver antes de nuestra próxima visita anual prevista a Cornualles. Siempre una parte muy esperada e integral de nuestros planes. ¡Basta de nosotros! El risotto de cangrejo fue una delicia absoluta. Sabores bellamente presentados y perfectamente equilibrados. Mi venado se derritió en la boca y sin fallas en la preparación - cocinado exactamente según las especificaciones (como se discutió con Richard al ordenar). Mi otra mitad estaba encantada con su plato de estragón de pollo. Los tamaños de las porciones son adecuados para el apetito más abundante. Diversión bouche y postres también excelente. Un bientot.

We had a lovely time on Christmas day. The atmosphere was so friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the service was amazing. The Christmas pudding was the best I have tasted.

Excelente comida, excelente servicio y personal amable. Qué más podríamos desear. Comí gammon, huevo, patatas fritas y guisantes. El gammon se colocó encima de las fichas con 2 huevos y cubrió todo el plato - Delicioso! Recomendaría 100%.

Mi nuevo lugar favorito en Polperro. Fuimos a desayunar tres veces la semana pasada. Desayuno diferente cada vez. Cada comida fue fantástica. Recomiendo encarecidamente la pila de tortitas de salmón y queso crema!

Charming wee place by the stream that flows down to the harbour. Well, Polperro is a charming wee place in itself. Probably heaving in high season. We sat outside on the terrace. Charming wee waitress came by to take our order. Bacon baguette, carrot and coriander soup, cheese ploughman's. Mine was the ploughman's lunch, served with a selection of cheese rather than the usual chunk of cheddar.

Bought the sea food platter (£22) crab, prawns, king scallops, squid and fish along side a salad. While the squid and crab were fine the rest of the meal all tasted of oil that was evident on the plate in puddles. The fish, catch of the day was tasteless other than the oily finish. It was almost like the rest of the meal was cooked in a bacon and sausage pan. The restaurant was busy but it’s no excuse for turning out an oil slick on a plate. 🐠🛢

This has to be one of the best little cafe in Looe. I had the best homemade scone with clotted cream ever. My wife has to have Gluten free and she had wonderful lemon drizzle cake, our dog even had a sausage. Lovely friendly owners lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by. Stayed at this hotel on a coach holiday, hotel was really nice, nice room, clean hotel and decorated nice, staff friendly, but! Me and my wife are aged 70 plus in years and are both able to cook, but the restaurant manager seemed to think different, they served my wife chicken breast that was not cooked in the middle, when the waitress was told she took the plate away, the after a while the restaurant manager came to us, only to tell us the chicken was cooked, but the plate had been removed, we told him again, the chicken was not cooked enough, but he argued different, only to say as a sorry I'll give you a free drink from the bar, but never offered a replacement meal,for the one taken away, instead my wife had nothing for the main course, and just a sweet.. Very very disappointing from a hotel, that you would think would have better customer care..what a shame...

Llamado en este pub un par de veces mientras se aloja en Polperro. Buena selección de cerveza, pub amable y comida decente. Divertido examen un martes. Buen pub local.

Tuvimos varias visitas al salón de té mientras estábamos en Polperro. Las mejores vistas del puerto y una trampa solar también. Gran selección de deliciosos pasteles y asientos dentro y fuera. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente.
