Great tearoom, always visit when in Polperro. Food is great, milkshakes are fab too. Super friendly staff & a huge bonus they love dogs!

Stopped for lunch, without a reservation as a group of 7 the tea room was very accommodating. Not sure what the space is like inside as weather was good so sat in the garden. Menu was varied and suited us all with a good mix of sweet and savoury snacks, including the all important cream tea. Staff were lovely and very engaging.

Really lovely outdoor seated area with plenty of space. We had cream teas and our son had a kids cheese sandwich- which he said was amazing and ate within seconds. Really fresh scones, good quality and lovely service. Cant believe we had never been before!

Went there twice during my week in Polperro. Once for lunch, had the most delicious GF pasty. Second time for breakfast. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Food was horrible and expensive and waitress very rude and not good at her job. Would give 0 stars if I could. Not recommended.

We went here twice on our recent trip and the staff were friendly and the food was nice. The only trouble is on the second visit it was raining so they shut the outside seating area and because it’s quite small inside a lot of people were turned away but we waited for people to finish and got a table.

Visited here on a Monday afternoon during a walk around the village. Beautiful food and drinks in such a pretty spot of Polperro. Would visit again

The loveliest cream tea served by the warmest of staff. Have happy memories of taking my late mum here a number of years ago, made a new happy memories today.

Gluten free Cornish pasties. Gluten free cakes, gluten free scones .... utterly delicious and lovely friendly staff. A little place of gluten free delights 😊

Food and drink both amazing. Great choice especially for gluten free options. Plenty of filling the in the sandwiches. Very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it.

Positive experience: Lunch was great and food tasted fresh, absolutely delightful with the food. Kids enjoyed their food, lots of cheese, ahhhh. Staff were friendly. Negative experience: Sense of hygiene absolute zero, 2 ladies serving stroked 2 dogs that came in with their owners, and then went on to serve people afterwards. I think that is awfult, the least you could do is wash your hands after doing that, i have nothing against dogs but to ignore basic hygiene is ridiculous in a restaurant.

Lovely tea room, very prettily decorated and a friendly welcome. The espresso was exceptional and the tea was very nice. We were very happy to see vegan cream teas so had one each. Beautiful soft, warm scones (and very big!) with lovely thick preserve and vegan cream (not squirty cream 😀). Reasonably priced too! Will definitely be back!

We had a super friendly welcome as soon as we entered the tea rooms with our springer spaniel. They really looked after us including treats for the puppy. We had lunch followed by two very generous slices of cake. The food was just what we needed on a cold day and was very tasty. The tea rooms are nicely decorated and have a homely feel. We would definitely recommend a stop here for refreshments.

Whenever we visit Cornwall we always visit The Plantation for the best cream tea. Our recent visit did not disappoint. Highly recommend it.

Called in today ( 26th October) whilst in Polperro for the last day of our holiday. Decided to have some lunch and wow, it was absolutely amazing! Little one had a milkshake and a half jacket potato with tuna from the kids menu and she ate all of it! Even said it was the best jacket potato she's ever had. Partner and I had a brie and bacon ciabatta and a fish finger ciabatta roll which we had half each of and both were out of this world! Followed by a cream tea to share which again was the best we've ever had! A cream tea for one has 2 scones and a pot of tea that done 3 cuppas! Will definitely be back! Great food, great atmosphere and amazing staff, can't recommend highly enough!

We happened upon the tearooms by chance on our last day in the area and we had been disappointed by the service levels in other establishments. Not a problem here! Very friendly and super-efficient staff welcomed us and our dogs and provided best quality cream teas and cappuccinos with amazing speed. Highly recommended!!!

The staff here are extremely friendly and welcoming but sadly the food needs some serious improvement. We ordered a traditional cornish pasty and a Cornish cream tea. Our expectation was that these items would represent the taste of Cornwall as both are pretty symbolic of this fabulous county. The pastry of the pasty was soggy and had obviously been reheated in a microwave :( The scones were not homemade but were mass produced which crumbled once the cream and jam were put on making it almost impossible to eat. Come on - you need to do better !

Called at this cafe for lunch while in Polperro. It was lovely! Very good selection on the menu served quickly. Was nice to have jacket potato and toasted sandwiches as these sometimes get forgotten in Cornwall cafes. Service was with a smile and a chat which made the visit.
