This has to be one of the best little cafe in Looe. I had the best homemade scone with clotted cream ever. The Tasty Corner Cafe is the place to eat when you're after the kind of meal that your mum used to cook - good wholesome food that gives you that warm feeling of family and friends enjoying life, a place where you can be sure of a warm welcome and good old fashioned value for money. It's one establishment that has never let me down and I can thoroughly recommend it to you.

I genuinely thought I was seeing things when I saw they were charging £11.45 for a jacket potato. You wouldn't even pay that much in central London! I asked the owner if this was for real and he told me I should go elsewhere if I didn't like it. He was beyond rude. I'd suggest any of the places opposite or the pub round the corner. I appreciate everyone's got to make a living but this is daylight robbery.

Inferior quality, exhorbitant prices. Having read many positive reviews of Tasty Corner we decided to give it a go. Bad mistake!! We ordered cheese on toast and coffee for two. The toast was served on thin poor quality sliced bread and covered with cheese totally lacking in taste and flavour. Coffee was weak and flavourless. Fortunately this visit took place in the early part of our holiday so obviously we had no need to re-visit Tasty Corner. There are so many other places in Looe(particularly East Looe ) which do things well and offer quality at a fair price. It is worth seeking them out. £16.60 for our snack was outrageously expensive. For comparative purposes we enjoyed a full Cornish Cream Tea for 2 for the princely sum of £9.10. Quality and price personified!!

What a treat. Lovely welcoming staff. Extremely dog friendly, I waited outside whilst my wife checked and they couldn't have been more enthusiastic in welcoming us and our pup. We had an all day breakfast and a full English both with tea. I don't think I've had a better cooked breakfast out. The bacon was done perfectly and was quite obviously not some cheap stuff as it was very thick. The eggs were really really fresh with bright orange yellow yolks. All in all a cafe well worth visiting and fantastic value for money

Came down for the weekend to visit some friends, stopped in here after watching the duck race and ordered a cream tea. The scones were a good size, but didn't have enough jam or clotted cream served with them and the scones tasted of salt. Read some good reviews on TripAdvisor, however our experience was not positive. The staff were very pleasant and we were told that there would be a wait for food - we accepted this. However when the two breakfasts arrived, they really weren't worth the wait both in terms of quality and quantity. The meat sausages were tiny and had no taste. Both breakfasts included baked beans, but there were literately 10 beans per serving. Rating for food, not marked down for the wait as we were told in advance.

We’d walked a three mile coastal walk and were delighted to find a table at this little gem! My husband had the all day breakfast which was excellent; I had a lovely baked potato and our son really enjoyed the steak pie. Really reasonable riced too, very good value for money. Would definitely recommend and will return there again when in Looe. Oh, and staff really nice too!

Popped in here for a cream tea, deliciously warm scones with jam and clotted cream, a real treat. Very reasonably priced. The staff were lovely, very friendly, would definitely recommend.

Only 3 stars I’m afraid. We have eaten here many times before and have never had any need to give a bad review. Today was different - and also different staff but many tables were not cleared and we waited a very long time for our order to be taken. Well into our meal before our coffee adrives apparently there had been a ‘mix up’ and the coffee was awful - really bitter.
