Love this pub so relaxing first pub we went in we found Polperro to be our new happy place friendly staff great beer and food.

Very tasty, good meal, very friendly, attentive and cheerful staff, great ambience. A visit to this restaurant is an absolute recommendation.

Loved, loved, loved this place. Beautiful, natural, original English pub with quirky interior, original beams, low ceilings and fire places. Beautiful. The dinner menu was varied with lots to choose from, including a specials board. Food was excellent and served very quickly. Really good size portions too. Lots of draught options on the bar and other drinks to choose from. I noticed during our visit to Cornwall that many pubs serve Pepsi instead of Coke. If you are not a lover of either one or the other, best to check before ordering. Staff were friendly, attentive and the overall evening was very pleasant. Many regulars came in with their pets too so for those looking for this type of venue, it is a pet-friendly pub.

Had fish and chips definitely wasn't fresh fish as stated on the menu it was all served in a cardboard box with a plastic knife and fork too !! Awful Chilli and garlic bread was in a cardboard bowl, the garlic bread was tuff and frozen the whole meal was tasteless typically all from the freezer nothing fresh about anything, wouldn't eat there again very disappointed.

Have eaten here on NYE for the last few years and it never disappoints. Always really nice food, good service, tasty beer and a nice atmosphere. Will hopefully be back again soon.

Very disappointing. We were staying for one night for the Christmas Tree switch on. We were told on booking that there would be no food available during the evening but we weren’t told the pub closed for drinks at 8pm! We were also not told that the breakfast was just a cold continental buffet, which was disappointing on a cold December morning when a proper full English is what we had in mind. The room was very dated, not very well equipped, has metal single glazed windows which were socking wet. On a plus point the bed was comfy and clean. And an additional heater was available. And the young lady in the bar who checked us in was very pleasant. I definitely wouldn’t return as at over £100 per night I’d expect so much more. Should you book here check what room you have if you have any mobility problems. Luckily we don’t so could manage the two flights of wet, poorly lit stairs.

Lovely pub at the top of the village near the car park. Had drinks outside in the sun & stopped off for drinks too inside. Friendly staff & good selection of drinks! Would recommend

we ate here twice during our weeks holiday and the food and service were both top class. the menu has something for everyone its a clean and tidy place that i would recommend to anyone

Lovely place at the top of the hill near the Polperro car park. Staff were friendly and prices very reasonable (for Cornwall). We had lunch sitting at a table outside and although it was served in cardboard takeaway containers it was the best meal we had during our trip to Cornwall. We didn't feel ripped off or cheated and unlike every other place we ate in Cornwall, we would return.

We have been in a number of different Cornish pubs over the last few weeks during our Cornish break - absolutely loved this pub . Beautiful setting , impressive inside and out . Staff were friendly and delivered great service- thank you for maki g our visit positively memorable.

We loved The Crumplehorn Inn for a relaxing drink & watching the world go by while visiting Polperro recently. The Rattler cornish cider was very good! We went a few times while there! Lovely atmosphere sitting outside! Nice location!

We popped to Polperro for lunch at the Crumplehorn Inn. It was a lovely afternoon so we eat outside on a parasol covered table in their extensive outside drinking/eating area. We both ordered a Brie and Cranberry sandwich on granary bread, which is accompanied by crisps and coleslaw. It was delivered to the table in a cardboard tray which was fine. The granary sandwiches were huge, filled with plenty of brie and cranberry. Just wanted to highlight the great value for money and quality of our choice.

We live not far from the Crumplehorn Inn and although not regular visitors we've previously enjoyed the best pub fish and chips ever here. Don't know if it's changed hands/chefs but £16 for frozen fish and chips in a cardboard box is poor value for money. We won't return for food I'm afraid.

The crumplehorn is a lovely little pub, when you walk through the door its like stepping back in time. The beer is good, and the food is acceptable pub food, its not restaurant standard, but its priced right! The place does need a good clean, lots of dog hair and thick dust on the tops of the tills and window sills. It would be nice to see the original waterwheel bought back to life. Maybe some crowd funding or grant needed?

Just returned from another short break in Polperro staying at this wonderful old Inn. Full of character, the accommodation is very clean, fresh and well presented. The staff are very hospitable, friendly and welcoming and the food excellent. Always a pleasure to stay here and highly recommended.

Great bar staff and lovely setting for a drink. However, food was very lacklustre. £16.50 for a special when it’s a frozen piece of chicken is not okay. Ate half and left. But for a drink and listening to live music was great.

We almost didn’t visit due to a number of negative reviews but we decided last minute to eat out on a Sunday night so there weren’t many options so gave it a go and I’m so glad we did. Lovely little pub, staff were all very friendly and welcoming and chatted to our children as well as us. Toilets were very clean and tidy too. A decent choice of food, all very tasty. My macaroni cheese was delicious, with crusty garlic bread and a nice, dressed salad on the side. Price wise, the meals for the 4 of us were very similar to what we paid at a chain restaurant in Liskeard a few nights ago but definitely better standard of food. The only downside at all was that that the public car park opposite (not owned by the pub) only takes cash! No app or card option at all, which we weren’t expecting! And it’s £6 minimum charge, and we only had £5 with us, but a passer by very kindly gave us £1!

We would give 100 stars if we could! Just returned to Wiltshire after a week family break and what can we say other than, this place is a little hidden gem! Visited Sunday evening and ate inside. All staff friendly and so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Food was exceptional. Special boards (pork amassing) Visited Tuesday and again another amazing visit. Happy staff, lovely drinks and lovely food. Visited sister pub on Thursday (Jubillee Inn) where we met Drew! What a flipping legend! I asked for the special burger to be doubled and wow what a burger. The steaks where amazing and all staff simply amazing. Visited Crumplehorn for our last visit and again woooooow. These bar staff get moaned at by customers but what people fail to see is how hard they are trying to serve, smile and keep the drinks and food flowing. Drew showed and again I asked for the special burger (doubled) he organised it and the food that arrived again was simply the best in the area. We would just like to say “what an amazing place, with great staff and Drew my friend your a legend…..” Thank you to everyone of you. Came in on Monday evening as the weather perked up after a miserable rainy day, we were met by a very friendly young lady who was busy yet still had time for us, I belive her name was Shannon.
