After reading the negative reviews on trip adviser we decided we were going anyway and we weren't disappointed yesterday we had to wait a little while for food yesterday the staff were running around trying to keep everyone happy and doing a great job while doing so. Food was excellent relatively cheap eat and drinks give it a try they've definitely got busier over the past few months.

I don't normally write bad reviews, nothing good to say and all that, but I feel you should be warned this is the worst experience I have had in a restaurant. Booked but no table ready, massive wait time disgusting cold food, no plates, cups or glasses and absolutely no customer service. There are multiple other places to have breakfast nearby including Milton pantry, Tim Hortons or even Macdonald's that are better than this, if your in the nextdoor premier in don't bother paying for breakfast.

Our family arrived for lunch on a Tuesday lunchtime. We ordered drinks and lunch for 5. An hour later it arrived. There was no warning in advance that there would be such a delay and no apology or even acknowledgement afterwards. The pub was not particularly busy. Was it worth the wait? No. When it arrived the food was average at best.

Very relaxing atmosphere, really good food and wine. The staff are friendly. Outside seating when the weather is warmer. It has a huge car park. I highly recommend

I had booked a table online for my family. There were 11 of us and we get together every month to catch up as we live in different parts of the West Country. We arrived to be told they didn’t have our booking. I showed them a screen shot to be told that it couldn’t have gone through the online booking system correctly and it hadn’t been confirmed. The manager could clearly sense our frustration and did do her best to seat us on 3 tables next to each other so we could eat but this was not ideal.

Exceptional service at this restaurant by the waitress and waiter I visited with my daughter and little grandson We both have allergies gluten / dairy Nothing was too much trouble for the very nice waitress that served us - who was so helpful and kind She explained that we could actually have most of what was on the menu as it could be adapted I had a delicious king prawn penne My daughter and grandson a delicious pizza each from the lunchtime menu I thought the meals were very good value which included a drink - beer, wine or soft drink We look forward to our next visit !

We were on an overnight stay and looking for a place to eat. We popped in on the off chance. Staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate us. My husband had the scallops starter and would highly recommend. I had the pate which was very nice. The prawn Thai curry was very nice. Would recommend but advise you book

Sunny day so we took advantage and sat outside and ordered drinks to the app at 2.50pm. Pint and vodka & orange. At 3.10 I went inside to see how long they would be drinks a rude tall woman with dark hair shouted at me ‘our screen is saying 25 mins can u see we busy’ no sorry just rude! So we decided to go and get served at the bar as there was no wait. We actually drank these then at 3.35 went to see where our drinks where that I ordered at 2.50! We eventually got them at 3.45. Then we ordered food which came within 15 mins. 👌Chicken bites were lovely! Garlic bread had no taste of garlic and the cheese chips lol see photo - what cheese. The female staff behind the bar need to learn how to use manners and SMILE. What a mirsable bunch. At least the male staff were friendly and welcoming. Won’t be going to this place again.

The venue is excellent, but the overall experience fell short of our expectations. The waitress was average, nothing special, and could have provided more information about the menu and other items. The cocktails were good, but the food was a letdown. I ordered the roast, and the chicken was dry and overcooked. The potatoes were instead of being roasted were deep-fried, likely cooked with the chips. My wife’s fish was cooked well, but it was very thin and lacked the freshness we expect from a fish dish. The prices are reasonable, but the food is just average pub fare served in an excellent environment. The food really needs to be improved, as going to an Ivy restaurant should be a better experience than eating at a typical pub.
