Great little cafe, the owner was courteous, sweet and helpful, the indoor seats are comfy, there's lots of items around the table which are for sale. Things like pictures, postcards, signs and things for your garden. The coffee was lovely and so was the food which is all freshly prepared. Would definitely recommend this place if you're in the area, and will definitely go back again.

I don’t normally write reviews, however I feel the need to share this really shocking experience I had here today. During the Watercress Festival on a particularly hot and crowded day. As someone in the third trimester of pregnancy, I was struggling with the heat and standing for long periods. I saw an available table outside the shop (with several others still free) and sat down for just a couple of minutes to catch my breath and recover. A woman who appeared to be a staff member approached me and, rather abruptly, told me the seating was for paying customers only and that I needed to get up. I stood up straight away and politely explained that I was pregnant and just needed a brief rest, but her response was, “We all have problems – these are my chairs for my customers.” Wow. Wow. I completely understand that businesses have policies about seating, and I would never take a space from a paying customer! Especially since there was an available empty table next to me at the time. What upset me most wasn’t being asked to move, but the lack of kindness and understanding in the way it was handled. Even bystanders looked shocked… let’s say the people I was with was not happy! Sadly, I left feeling rather angry and upset. This experience will stuck with me, and I personally wouldn’t feel comfortable supporting a business that treats people this way. Basic manners is all this situation needed. In the future, please treat people how you would like to be treated! X

I use this lovely little sandwich shop regularly. The owner is so friendly and accommodating. My baguettes are always full of tasty fillings. I recommend this shop to anyone it's got just about every filling there is.

Excellent Sunday lunch, beautiful area, great service, truly fantastic food. After just one mouthful I suggested we may have to return, every Sunday in my dreams. I greedily had the roast beef and pork combo, my partner the vegetarian main, both very good indeed and definitely not portions to leave you hungry. Desserts looked so good we could not resist, and they did not disappoint. One of the very best Sunday lunches, we will definitely be back. Be sure to book in advance.

As always fabulous meal at Harry’s. Tried the new special Pollock and chips as a change from my usual cod, and it did not disappoint. Delicious and just as tasty as the cod, and an absolute bargain at £7.50 for a medium size, with there usual crisp batter and signature crinkle cut chips and the best curry sauce for dipping, delicious.

Went to this pub as it came recommended by the person we rented the cottage from and several of the previous holidaymakers in the Guest Book. We went on our last night (a Friday) at 6.00pm. We had 2 dogs with us which meant we had to sit in the bar area. This area seemed to be full of regulars having their end of working week drinks. Whilst there is nothing wrong with that, it did mean it was very noisy, so if you are looking for a quiet meal, then this is not for you. The Steak & Ale pie, Belly Pork and Fish & Cips were all good, but not exceptional. The Peach & Rhubarb Crumble was a strange combination and the crumble on top wasn't cooked. I had something from the specials board, which was Nutella Brownie with custard. The Brownie was really dry and the taste of Nutella was largely absent. It wasn't an expensive meal and the staff were extremely poilte and attentive. There are lot's more pubs that are dog friendly in the area, so the next time I visit the island I'll probably give one of them a go!
