Booked and paid a £30 deposit for lunch on Easter Sunday only to turn up to find the restaurant closed with a closed until further notice sign on the door. No message from them to inform us. DO Not Book with this restaurant wherever they are now.

Very good restaurant with great food. This was a Friday lunchtime visit. We chose off the 2 course set lunch menu. For starter i chose the chicken Skewers. For the main i chose the pork tenderloin . The presentation was very good, cooked just right and tasted delicious. We chose a bottle of the Los Picos £22.95 which complimented the meal well. For desert I chose the baileys panna cotta which was lovely. The service was good and friendly.

The Tudor Pass is a small restaurant in Great Fosters, the Tudor hunting lodge hotel near Virginia Water. Given the small numbers of covers it has for a sitting it is well worth booking in advance. We went for lunch where there is a fixed menu. One unusual feature is that they don't give you the menu until you have finished the meal, which can inhibit your choice of wine ot other drink. The cost of the fixed price lunch was £90. The dining room is small (around 16-20 covers) and tastefully decorated and certainly the ceiling reminds you of the antiquity of the room. We arrived early so we had a glass of champagne outside on the bar terrace overlooking the bridge and pond. I would certainly recommend the Balfour English Sparkling wine over the house champagne. They were both priced the same, but the Balfour had a much better flavour and amount of bubbles. When we were shown to our table, I was surprised to see that our napkins were not only not ironed, but were positively wrinkled, not exactly what you expect from a Michelin starred restaurant. However that was absolutely the only thing to criticise. The meal started with four seperate amuse bouches. Each was brought out by the chefs who had cooked them. Each of them were really tasty, highly imaginative and brilliantly presented. Likewise each of the courses were presented by the chefs who had cooked them. To say the first course was English Heritage beetroot with dill and horseradish doesn't do the course justice. The flavours were superb. The next course was cod with bouillabaise, lemon and fennel. The fish was cooked to perfection and each of the other elements complemented the fish perfectly. The meat course was Hoggett (a cut above lamb, being able to live longer and graze well) with asparagus and garlic. It melted in the mouth. There was then an optional cheese course at an extra cost, that we didn't participate in. The dessert was beautifully presented cuban chocolate with hazlenut and armangnac. It is definitely worth staying for the petit fours as there was a really good surprise about them. Alex Payne and his team definitely are worthy of the Michelin Star and it is great to find this quality of cooking outside of London. The wine list had a good range of reasonably priced glasses and bottles. They served high quality coffee, which was a pleasant surprise. Beyond the restaurant the grounds are well worth exploring, particularly if the weather is good. In terms of value for money for the food served, it certainly is.

Always my choice for light refreshments or afternoon tea! Very accepting to my small dog Mia & Bambi! Lovely staff and good practice of my bsl sign language as deaf. So be patient service can be slow but worth the wait as often he is alone working. A good pot of decaf tea and home baked cakes and scones. Happy to top up jam cream tea at no extra charge. Today , We had cuppa soup and ham salad sandwiches and a panini ….. I had mozzarella tomato and avocado filling , with generous dressed salad garnish . under £15 per person . Very pleasing and charming. Small quaint Bletchingly homely cafe with approx 5 tables so booking recommended only a few tables outside and off street parking .

This has been a favourite lunch spot for myself and my family for a few years now. They've recently had a change of management, and on our resent visit we could see they've been busy decorating and the main room was looking very nice, I much preferred the new decor to the old grey theme. I visited with my son and daughter, and we enjoyed a ploughman's lunch and two jacket potatoes, all beautifully cooked and delicious, and some amazing milkshakes to wash it all down. We were pleased to see the menu still had our favourites on and the service was great as usual. Highly recommended ❤️

Stunning picturesque location, set in a quiet little lane. The flowers are all in bloom and the restaurants garden area make for a perfect long lazy afternoon of amazing food and ambiance. The food is always 10/10 we have never been disappointed with the quality and culinary skill of Will who is the chef at The Dove. Sophie runs the front of house perfectly and we are always warmly welcomed by them when we cycle up. If you have not been here you MUST!!! The Dove is child, dog, child and disabled friendly it has a home from home feel and we adore it xx Thankyou to the team who work tirelessly behind the scenes to make our visits so enjoyable xx charlie + stuart xx

The atmosphere was relaxed and the decor dark and sultry. The lounge area for drinks afterwards was perfect for us. The taster food was delicious. We all enjoyed every mouthful. The two different pudding were delicious. The wines were interesting. Personally I preferred sticking to a red throughout. The bit I would change was the fact we had to keep our cutlery for every course. For the price of the food and drinks ( Our bill was over £700 for two couples) and the ambience it was unpleasant to reuse them for totally different courses. ( there was a choice to change them but this would have been a request rather than the norm. ) Overall the experience was excellent and the service was amazing. We will be back.

I recently ordered a special cake for my mother-in law's 90th Birthday celebration, and it was delicious. She chose a Black Forest Gateau and we all agreed it was the best we've ever tasted. Even though I left it a bit late to order, Claudio and the team went out of their way to ensure the cake was ready when we needed it. I would definitely recommend Sweet Passion and will be returning very soon.
