Amazing coffee! Beautiful cosy cafe, clean and welcoming. Lovely, friendly guy owns this place and cooks from fresh the most sensational food that is reasonably priced. This place is an absolute hidden gem. This is the second time I’ve been here and the food and service are second to none. Treated like royalty yet again…I will definitely be back again and again. Highly recommend 🥰

Portion was generous. All ingredients complimented eachother. Outstanding flavour. Top quality. Presentation super. Service delightful. You just know when heart & soul has been added to a meal. Service was second to none,Thé owner was very polite and friendly. I got my food in few minutes although he was busy. I have been going to Quench restaurants for 12 years and the food and service has been excellent. I hope he continues running his restaurant.Please support him because he always puts 100% effort and an A1 chef .

Have been here a number of times for lunch with my partner. Conveniently situated on pedestrian George St., and close to Hove Station, bus stops etc. The atmosphere is always relaxed, never frantic, The proprietor is extremely friendly and helpful, as are the waiting staff. A great range of dishes which are all delicious - I'm vegetarian and there are many options. A wide selection of hot and cold drinks too. I always leave full up and satiated.

Don’t be deceived by the name of this cafe / restaurant. Enjoyed dishes off the grill menu, both of which had delicious flavours. Visited as I noticed their good reviews and I’m pleased I did. Will visit again for brunch

In summary: A great find - we relished our burgers to the very last crumb! We visited Cafe Quench on a cloudy Sunday afternoon. Only a few folks were in the street, and the cafe was not busy when we arrived around noon. We were welcomed warmly by the restaurant server. It is a small restaurant; however, they have extra seating upstairs and outside. We ordered two burgers - an "Italian Job" chicken burger and an "All Greek to Me" lamb burger. The burgers were juicy, and the filling of vegetables, sauce and cheese was delicious. One burger will leave you satisfied, and the price is justified. We did not order any drinks other than a Diet Coke. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be visiting there again!

My husband and I popped in after reading a good review. We were not dissapointed..we both ordered the breakfast stack#1 it was one of the best breakfasts we have had out. We both had a plate with a flat bread on the base, topped with mushroom, spinach,tomatoes sausages,bacon and two fried eggs.it was perfectly cooked and so fresh. I could not eat it all my husband helped. We will be returning to try the other dishes on the menu. Great hidden gem 💎

Absolutely exceptional food, really tasty, very fresh and enough of it to keep me full for the rest of the afternoon. Super friendly owner who came and apologised for the slight delay in serving us but it was definitely worth the wait. First time visiting but will be back before too long!

My usual lunch place was suddenly closed yesterday, so my friend and I walked down George Street and found Cafe Quench. What a great find! We both had delicious brunch meals, very different from the usual things on offer in other cafes.I had asparagus, smoked salmon and avocado on Parmesan flatbread with marscapone sauce, and a large salad. My friend had shaksuka and pitta bread. Everything was very fresh and well presented and tasty. The man serving was very nice too. The service is quite slow, though, as there is only one person there serving and cooking, but it was worth waiting for.

Had a great lunch today, friendly staff, great menu and food amazing. Both the prawn and salmon pasta and the patatas bravas were delicious. We will definitely be back soon to give something else a try. Would highly recommend a visit.

Wow what a great find . Popped in for brunch whilst out and about in George st hove . Lovely place inside , Friendly with a great menu . I had the Avollitious eggs with smoked salmon . Beautifully prepared and served . What a treat to have it served on granary toast rather than the mouth skin shredding toasted sourdough ! We will be back .

My pasta dish was cooked to order and delicious! One of the best meals I had during a short stay in Brighton which included lots of eating out.

This place is an absolute gem! By far the most interesting and impressive breakfast we have ever had. The breakfast stacks. And topped brioches are out of this world. Lovely, friendly owner too.

Visited yesterday having passed by in the past, due to prices being higher than cafes nearby. Big mistake - a slightly higher price is definitely worth it for food that is fresh, has texture & most of all flavour! In addition, we felt safe, tables clean & clear of condiments & host wore vizor. Looking forward to trying other dishes.

I discovered this place with friends is small place for dinner but have very wellcoming and warm staff that explained everything and offered the food the way we asked.

Recently discovered this place with a friend. It is such a wonderful café in the heart of Hove. The food is really delicious. Excellent laid back atmosphere. This is my go to place now for a consistantly tasty lunch. Really good service too. Highly recommend

I came here 3 years back and was a tad non-plussed, and a follow up visit a year ago was mediocre, but when a friend and I popped in here last week for lunch it really hit the mark. Wonderfully cosy and friendly service with excellent cleanliness. We had a mocha/hot chocolate/ chicken burger and burger. Every item was spot on and I will definitely return again soon.

Cafe Quench is my go-to spot to work, study, socialize, etc. Amazing food and a great vibe, it's nice and quiet, with just the right amount of liveliness that gives it the sort of vibe you'd see from cafes/pubs in TV shows like Friends or How I met your Mother. I often spend hours here getting my work done, meeting friends, etc.The owner Soltires is nice Greek guy, very friendly, and makes a real effort to get to know his customers. The personalization has kept me coming back. The man has memorized all of my favorites and often knows what I'm looking for before I even open the menu. He even goes out of his way to have a chat with me about how everything's going personally.Very accomodating for all diets. For all my veggies out there I recommend the Chili non carne. It's perfectly seasoned and feels closer to a home made dish than a cafe dish. I also recommend the iced mocha which, in actuality, is an ice blended frappachino.

I visited this cafe yesterday. The service was friendly and the food was very nice. I had the veggie English breakfast and it was one of the best ones I've had up to date. They have a wide range of options to suit everyone. Definitely worth a visit.

We popped in by chance for a breakfast and found such a lovely little gem of an eaterie. The host was warm and welcoming and the food was delicious. The coffee was outstanding. We had a smooth and velvety latte's along with our full English breakfasts. We will definitely visit again.

Food was top, staff very friendly. Sat outside in the sun. We will def be returning when we next visit hove.

Have now been three times to this excellent cafe in the last month.Run by a lovely chap who really knows about his food and customer service. Hugely impressed with the tomato and cheese ciabatta on the two previous occasions and this time a delicious chorizo omelette.

Stopped off at Cafe quench yesterday for first time. had the most delicious freshly made pineapple/banana smoothie. Felt so refreshed. Also liked the fact that the had the outdoor seating sectioned off to some degree (especially with Covid concerns) which made for a more relaxed seating arrangement for me. Service was fast. Very friendly waitress. Smiles all round! Will be back next time i head towards George street.

I have been going here with my family for years and after lockdown have kept coming back for the amazing food. Here they have a menu stocked with many different types of food and drink from delicious club style burgers to a great selection of drinks including refreshing milkshakes and cocktails. Aswell as this they have very friendly and accommodating staff making cafe Quench a must go if you're in the area.

Went to Cafe Quench 3/8/2020The staff were really friendly and even though they ran out of some meals they were happy to switch out some ingredients. They were really attentive too.The food itself was delicious and a great size, especially for what we paid. We had burgers and chips, which were great. The food arrived in a good time too.

Went here for a lunch with my family. They a small but adequate kids menu which my toddler enjoyed. My wife and I had the burgers which are some of the best I've had, particularly given the price. Friendly staff and we had a great meal. In terms of value for money and quality, this place has nailed it.

Such an affordable, lovely and welcoming cafe that I keep coming back to it again and again! The host is so friendly and accommodating and you always feel looked after. The food is all homemade and very tasty, as well as being good value for money. Perfect for families or friends meeting up.

Came here after every other brunch place in Hove was full and was pleasantly surprised. I had the pancakes with berry compote and maple mascarpone and it was delicious and certainly wasn’t as plain as the ones you get in some other restaurants/cafes. Really friendly staff and pleasant background music as well

We ve visited a few month back before the lock down. This is really a coffee place not a restaurant! ok food but not anything special. not impressed !

This is the second time of visiting when in Hove. Came across this gem in November last year. Host, Sotiris very welcoming. Came again today 7 March. Had lovely poached eggs, advacado salsa, smoked salmon on toast, highly recommend. Once again Sotiris was very welcoming. Next time I meet up with my friend, in a couple of months we will visit.

Had one of the best roasts that I've ever had! Corn fed chicken which just fell off the bone without being dry. My partner had the pork loin and commented on how tender it was. Owner very friendly. Will definitely be returning !

My daughter and myself visited this restaurant after seeing it on trip advisor, and we were not disappointed. Proprietor was such a warm and friendly man, Lovely accent. Really nice inside the restaurant and very clean. The food was delivered to our table really quickly, all cooked from fresh, well presented, well priced, and was absolutely divine. Clearly a man with a passion for what he does as it shows in his food. I had waffles with mushrooms in a lovely tomatoes sauce, spinach, mozzarella, pesto and 2 perfectly poached eggs on top, incredibly delicious, what more can I say, definitely worth a visit.

This is our favourite cafe to have lunch in Hove. The chef is extremely hospitable and offered to make us 2 fully vegan off menu dishes which were just gorgeous! The portions are unreal as well, very worth the price! Would recommend this place to anyone!

We tried Quench cafe for brunch for the first time today.. based on seeing how busy this cafe is during the day when I’ve gone by. The food is great- clean, fresh & amazingly tasty - cooked by someone who truly wants the customers to experience excellent food.

This is a fabulous eatery hidden in plain sight. From the outside there is little to tell you just how good this place is! Thankfully, the tripadvisor reputation spoke volumes. So, late one filthy November Saturday afternoon, three colleagues and I popped in here looking for an early meal before a night shift. It was about an hour before the cafe was due to close for the day and the town was pretty much deserted due to the weather so as we walked in, we were greeted by the proprietor and invited to take our pick from the tables in the nearly empty cafe. As we sat perusing the menu, the proprietor cam back and mentioned the specials ... he must have done a good job, because we all ordered dishes he had just described. When it arrived, the food was really lovely and all agreed it was a good choice. I had chicken with mushroom sauce on a bed of Mediterranean vegetable rice which was tasty and really satisfying. We would heartily recommend this place.

We have just had a delicious lunch at Cafe Quench. Service was excellent and our food was made to order. I had chicken in a mushroom sauce served with Mediterranean rice. What value!

Delicious freshly prepared homemade food; we had the salmon fajita with grilled veg and baked potato with chilli con carne and salad. Both were really tasty and decent portions. Excellent, very friendly service and good value. I would highly recommend.

We visited family for a wedding and popped into Cage Quench for lunch, we have been here before. We had a lovely meal, service was excellent and we will certainly be back .

You don’t realise how nice the food is going to be at this place because it looks like any other café. The owner has gone to a lot of trouble to think about the ingredients and the combinations. It’s almost like fine dining café style. The food is good quality and he makes a lovely coffee also. So as far as I’m concerned it’s the best in George Street. Easy.

Really hard to fault, service was great, food was amazing and prices extremely reasonable. I ordered the pancakes with bacon and pineapple but they were out of pancakes so instead he made me French toast. It was absolutely amazing and very generous portions, unfortunately I wouldn't finish it all. Would definitely recommend and would definitely return!

Excellent generous bowl of pasta, glass of wine and coffee for under 15 quid. Probably the best latte I've had in Brighton, and I've had a few. Very friendly, charming service too.

Absolutely incredible service, very friendly and polite. The food has incredible flavour and is well presented whilst also catering for Vegans (I ate the beef burger special and my partner ate Vegan).

Although we arrived after 12:30 there was no problem in arranging a 'Breakfast Menu'. Very friendly host, high quality local ingredients, serverd with a smile. Very clean premises. 1st time visit but not the last.

Arrived close to the listed closing time but no problem, we enjoyed the open fajitas (one lamb, one salmon) and shared an order of spicy potato wedges. Everything was fresh and nicely cooked. The proprietor was super helpful and friendly too. Great find, especially as we could sit outside, next to the pedestrianised street and enjoy the late afternoon sun.

If you haven’t been already then it’s a must . My husband and I attend most weekends . The owner is a friendly guy and definitely aims to please his customers. Saturday gone I enjoyed his lamb salad dish of which I tried for the first time a few months back. It’s my absolute favourite. Full of flavours and lovely to look at. If you’ve been to Quench but not had this dish, then definitely have it, you won’t be disappointed. I can’t help but have it now it’s that delicious The owner will do his absolute best to accommodate anyone if he has the produce in and it’s not in his menu. Don’t be afraid to ask, he’s a great guy and happy to please. Our favourite Cafe in Hove without a shadow of a doubt.

I've been here a number of times with my family. We always get a friendly welcome from the owner. The burgers are superb. My son always has the pasta which he loves. And if you're feeling like something a bit stronger, it has a licence!

I had the penne with chicken and chorizo and my friend had spaghetti with tiger prawns and sunblush tomatoes. Both dishes was amazing, actually this was if not the best one of the best pasta i ever had.I recommend cafe quench to everyone.

I popped in here with my mum on Saturday and we had a lovely lunch. We enjoyed a glass of wine in the sun, accompanied by delicious freshly prepared jacket potatoes with a tuna crunch topping and a side salad. Strangely this was not on the menu, but we were told when we arrived that if we fancied something, then to ask and if they could they would accommodate us, and they did :) I would highly recommend this restaurant.

Oh my goodness! Sortiris is such a welcoming host in this lovely restaurant. A great range of food to try from and everything made with care and attention to detail. Lovely flavours in the salsa and eggs perfectly cooked. The pancakes were out of this world! Sotiris created a special and unique banana cream for topping the pancakes with... it was delicious.

We regularly visit Cafe Quench and no matter what you want to eat, even if it is not shown on the menu, they will make it for you providing they have the ingredients. The food is always wonderful and a great friendly atmosphere completes the experience.
