This is a pleasant cafe offering good cream teas. While many of the cafes in Burford seem to close quite early, Honeycott's is open a bit later. Food and service were both good.

Great food. One of the best Cream Teas we have had, so we have rebooked for February. However more staff are needed to reduce waiting times. We were not happy all dogs are welcome as this is unhygienic! If you HAVE to allow dogs there should be a clearly designated area for them to be contained as we feel very uncomfortable with dogs around us!

We stayed in Burford for three nights and visited here on our first night. What a welcome. The staff could not have been more friendly. They were attentive without being overbearing. The menu is good solid pub grub and is good value. Would highly recommend.

Such a cute spot and I really enjoyed the coronation chicken sandwich. A proper British classic done well.

We called in for a light lunch en route without booking. Friendly welcome, watm ambience and 'buzz' in the bar/restauarant, helped by blazing logburner. Tempting menu and 'small plates' good value and perfect for a light lunch.

Lunch was a total rip-off. The hot food was cold, we were served child portions even though we are adults. The staff seemed more interested in talking than serving. To have to queue for 20 minutes just to have a coffee was ridiculous. Why not set up a separate till for coffee and cakes, a two year old could work that out. Prices extortionate probably due to Burford being the gateway to the Cotswolds. Awful

Ambience: fireplace, cozy tables, lots of dog :) , and holiday decorations Food: adequate, thought the soup never changes, and quite yummy Service: nobody seems to be very happy here

What a great place, staff so nice and welcoming. Highly recommended stopping here for dinner or lunch. Wood burner and a beautiful long dinning room. Guiness is very good here as well.

Neighborhood Gem Ambience: so many fireplaces to choose from, great decorations, warm & cozy, and even better than lamb next door Service: remembered me from day to day and even my choices; prompt and attentive and made everyone feel welcome from large groups to single diners. Food: delicious: my only suggestion is to serve a piece of bread and butter with your delicious soup! --what a shame!

Went here for a friend’s birthday party. Lovely friendly staff. Good menu choice. They were very busy but our order was taken promptly and we didn’t have to wait long for the food. We were a party of 10 yet all the food came out together and was hot and well presented. A good time was had by all. Would definitely go here again.
