The best restaurants serving British food in Sevenoaks South East

We held our engagement party here. The venue were accommodating and did the most amazing Greek spread for our guests. We had so many compliments on the food all night and I can't wait to eat here again. All the staff were INCREDIBLE, making it a really special night for us. There is so much choice when it comes to drinks and you get really good value for money, which is hard to come by these days. Not only that the venue itself is in a lovely location, tucked away with plenty of outdoor space and nice interiors. Exactly what you want from a pub and more. I wish I could do it all over again. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

We had coffee and warm croissants on Saturday morning. Ed and Jay, two nicer brothers you could not wish to meet, very informative and so welcoming. The coffees and croissants were lovely. They sell take away sandwiches, bagels and a host of fillings made to order with salad boxes as a convenient healthy lunch. They can seat 12 people in their bijou cafe and we wish them all the luck in their new venture. Do try it.

We visited for our annual Christmas party and were not disappointed. From the stylish decor/interior of the venue to the fabulous service and quality of food. We really could not have asked for more, the atmosphere was fantastic and the DJ ensured the dance floor was always busy!!! A great night had by all! We’ll be back next year!! Thank you!

We had just done a great walk on the area and stopped here to get some desserts. The rocky road and brownies were amazing. Great little store.

While beer continues to be good, on the last couple of visits the quality of the food has dipped. Today I had the chicken Caesar salad - not easy to get wrong but the chicken was badly overcooked. I told one of the staff who said ‘sooty about that’ but that was the end of it!

We dined at the Old Bank and were absolutely blown away by not only the incredible food but also, the inviting atmosphere. Each dish presented meticulous attention to flavour, impressive presentation and delicate textures, showcasing the chefs' innovative approach to British cuisine. We would also recommend the wine flight to accompany the tasting menu - these carefully curated selections of wines accompany each dish, enhancing every course with perfectly complementary flavours! Lovely country pub, great food and reasonable prices. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only downside is no disabled access or toilet facilities, very difficult if your in a wheelchair, but was told this is being addressed in the future.

I only ever have their fish and chips, have never tried anything else. So the 5 stars refers to that one dish. Their Tartar sauce is the best, apparently home made. We have never had bad service. My wife always has something different each visit, ie Ceasar Salad or a Quiche followed maybe by the Coffee cake, washed down with the house white wine. Being the driver I stick to and recommend the bottled Apple juice.

We came upon this pub purely by chance after a visit to Igtham Mote (also highly recommended!). A lovely setting, very friendly and helpful staff. Although we only wanted a light lunch, the menu was plentiful. Service was brisk and the food vey good. Would definitely return here if in the area. It was good to see that lunchtime was pretty busy.

So nice to have proper cake, not just chain store cake and what a range! They have good coffee, great cake, attentive service.

We visited the Golf Club for Sunday dinner at beginning of May and was pleasantly surprised just how good it was! The staff were really helpful and the atmosphere was nice and relaxed - just what we wanted, Food was amazing and will definitely be bringing more family back here

Great Value for Money - delicious lunch, good service I had a Brie, pepper, onion marmalade wrap and it came with a lovely fresh dressed salad, crisps and coleslaw. Full of flavour, didn’t have to wait too long which is always a bonus. Had that and an oat cappuccino. All for only £10!!!! Will definately be back

Great food, great staff, great service. Always busy which speaks for itself. Staff are lovely too. The menu is varied and food always cooked well. Keep it up guys
