The best restaurants serving British food in Reigate and Banstead South East

I can’t explain our experience as you have to live it to believe it - Absolutely phenomenal / if I could give 100 stars I would, Service, food, atmosphere and general all rounder Thank you so much absolutely beautiful x

Had not been out for a few months due to illness. Staff always make you so welcome and the breakfast is always great.

We visited almost all restaurants Several times. In general you will find great quality, well-selected offers and very friendly staff. We love especially the afternoon-tea in the Hall/ Promenade: Excellent tea selection (!!!), rather traditional food and presentation and unique atmosphere. Wine prices ok an in-line with the location. Not too many older vintages: only the famous lables. Rarities are overprized and not very 'enjoyable' as offered; not in-line with the market and competition. Great sprits, especially Whisky. On request you get some really rare and extraordinary stuff! Very crowded during Christmas season but worth to visit, especially for families. Despite kids are not among 'their preffered guests'. Very discrete, professional and friendly.

I'm sorry I have only given 4 stars for atmosphere but it was drizzling, grey and misty when we visited. However we were very impressed and look forward to returning again soon. A perfect place to start and finish exploring Reigate Hill. The hot chocolate and food were recommended and that's why we visited. Can't wait to work my way through the menu as there is an excellent selection. See you soon on a sunny day next time.

Came to celebrate our sons 18th and we were received with a welcoming atmosphere. Our table was also prepared to seat 18 people All the food and drinks were wonderful and everyone received their orders happily . Request for cake and celebration at the end off meal was amazing Thank you very much.

Simply the best in the area. Always fresh fish with perfect batter and chips cooked to perfection. Cherry on the cake: staff (and owner) extremely friendly.

First time back at the Mill House in a long time and wasn't disappointed. We had a lovely relaxed lunch with friends and our waitress Jackie went over and above. Very friendly and welcoming.

Very good food and local beers. Evening clearly starts at 6pm as volume of music went up to intrusive, need to speak loudly level.

Took 20 mins to take our drinks order and then a further 20 mins to receive them. Eventually placed food order of 4 starters and 7 roasts and was told 10 later that there was no chicken so 4 of us had to pick something else. Meals finally arrived 1hr 45 mins after arrival. Would we go back or recommend - afraid not.

I really liked the food however I’m currently trying not to cry my self to sleep where I’m having a reaction from intolerance and allergies that were clearly stated when I ordered. Please get on top of it before someone else worse then me becomes seriously unwell !

Such a shame it’s closed completely and demolished to make way for Lidl. Remember when it was called the game bird and raving club for nightlife Good bye.

Having fully researched the area for our overnight stay to connecting flights this is my honest review: Upon arrival we were greeted by a lovely softly spoken gentleman who showed us to our room and explained WiFi, separate bathroom facilities and check out procedures. We then had dinner in the establishment which was amazing, hot and fresh! Really please with our meal and the attentiveness of the staff! For the price this is a decent overnight stay for our flight. Highly recommended and will use again!
