The best restaurants serving British food in Reigate and Banstead South East

Had not been out for a few months due to illness. Staff always make you so welcome and the breakfast is always great.

We visited almost all restaurants Several times. In general you will find great quality, well-selected offers and very friendly staff. We love especially the afternoon-tea in the Hall/ Promenade: Excellent tea selection (!!!), rather traditional food and presentation and unique atmosphere. Wine prices ok an in-line with the location. Not too many older vintages: only the famous lables. Rarities are overprized and not very 'enjoyable' as offered; not in-line with the market and competition. Great sprits, especially Whisky. On request you get some really rare and extraordinary stuff! Very crowded during Christmas season but worth to visit, especially for families. Despite kids are not among 'their preffered guests'. Very discrete, professional and friendly.

Went to this fantastic restaurant last night for the 1st time, and the food was just sensational. From some of the best onion bhaji's, I've tasted to the spicy calamari, everything is delicious. This is a restaurant, not your standard curry house, and everything is cooked to order. Well worth the wait.

Coffee, drinks, sandwiches, cakes and ice cream. It’s conveniently located to grab a bite then walk across the bridge up to Reigate Hill. Toilets on site too. Friendly staff. They take card payments. A bit expensive.

Don’t go to any other chip shop food always good fresh. Staff are all friendly and you are recognised as a loyal customer.

Quite pricey although after having the taste of the dishes that explains, you are spoilt by a Michelin star Chefs menu! So succulent and tender cooked meat that rarely you can find at any other BBQ restaurants around Horley. Only thing missing from their tasty menu is that the Chef's special chili sauce or meze (homemade).? There is no other alternative chili dish at the menu either, like Ezme? it is a vegetarian medium hot meze to which goes well with BBQ dishes. We felt so lucky to be service by best quality Turkish BBQ Kebab restaurant. Thank you to Duke of Cambridge Hotel management for having a Turkish BBQ Kebab. Keep up the good quality service. Exceptional. The batter is very light and crisp, fish great, chips excellent - worth the 10-minute drive from home!

We wanted a quick meal after visiting a family member in East Surrey Hospital. We were quickly seated, drinks arrived shortly afterwards and our server Chloe A took our food choices. Chloe was attentive throughout our visit, a credit to the team.

Sunday roast was mediocre at best. Meat was good, mash and potatoes were ok, but the parsnips were raw and the crackling was hard as nails and some was only half cooked. Deserts weren't much better.

The food here is always delicious and along with friendly service and a great atmosphere, it’s a favourite for us when we want dinner out.

Tasty food, atmosphere was calm but warm. Service arrived in no time I was pleasantly surprised

Such a shame it’s closed completely and demolished to make way for Lidl. Remember when it was called the game bird and raving club for nightlife Good bye.
