Another cracking Roast Dinner. Never had a bad one. A perfect way to spend a lazy sunny Sunday afternoon. A hidden gem. Well worth a visit.

When foreigners complain about English food, I always feel their comments are slightly misaligned with how much english food and service have improved the last 20 years, until you eat in a place like this. Coffee good, pizza sad and sandwiches straight from the 1980s and bloody expensive! If it wasn't located next to a beautiful park, it would close in a month.

Third visit food always really good quality- staff attentive - menu selection is great. Coffee could be better but that’s a minor point

Absolutamente excepcional. Honestamente puedo decir que no podría fallar la comida de todos modos, Llevo esperando para comer aquí bastante tiempo y siempre ha reservado pero se las arregló para entrar. Si lo hubiera hecho, criticaría que esperáramos más de 40 minutos para que llegara nuestra comida, por mucho que sé que no es comida rápida, creo que fue un poco largo esperar. Volveré enseguida.

Beautifully refurbished pub. Very warm, friendly welcome. Enjoyed our lunch in the peaceful garden. Very welcoming to dogs.

Had a wonderful evening out, being out solo can be eventful! I had a lovely chat with the landlord Steve, lovely people around me eating and drinking. The local Bar Billiards team were practicing in the corner!! Fire was warm and welcoming on this chilly, very foggy early spring night.

La comida era deliciosa, buena honestidad, bien cocinado, porciones decentes de comida del pub. El personal era amable y servicial. Nos alojamos en Pitlands Barns, así que este era un lugar ideal para visitar para la cena y una cerveza o dos!

Bueno... las fichas normales a las 4. 55 no era más que un pequeño puñado. Era un tamaño patético. Realmente decepcionado. El panecillo era pan barato de larga vida con margarina. Cuando dice rollo con mantequilla. No estoy seguro de si ha cambiado de manos, pero se han vuelto muy apretados con porciones que aún suben el precio. El sabor general fue muy promedio. Nada especial y tu pago por la nariz. Más de £ 22 libras para básicamente no mucho .. . habría sido £ 26 libras, pero tenía un descuento de deliveryoo de pedir con ellos, solo demuestra que tal vez no lo son. doimg tanto negocio si hay un incentivo para pedir con ellos.

Llamado para probar la nueva cafetería - ¡qué experiencia tan encantadora! Un cálido saludo del personal joven y al ver la variedad de pasteles, solo un café rápido se convirtió en una visita más larga. Qué elección -por suerte se llevan- pero sin duda seguiremos probando todo el menú. Precio razonable, gran ambiente y buen servicio.

I am a regular at Gartons with both friends and grandchildren. The food is very good and everything is freshly made. They know my drink without having to ask and ALL the staff couldn’t be more helpful when I have the grandchildren with bringing me a high chair or helping me out with the pushchair. Gartons is my go to cafe in Midhurst for the friendly relaxed atmosphere, good food and lovely staff..

Visited here for afternoon tea. Welcome was ok, but then we waited for a while to see if there was a free table. Bizarrely no one else was in the cafe and the upstairs service where we were seated was almost unfriendly and you felt you were in the way. When we asked for a spoon for our tea we were greeted with a huff and puff… Gets good reviews elsewhere, but sadly not from us..

Best little cafe in Chichester. A little haven of joy. Lovely place food and people.

La comida / servicio / precio eran todos excepcionales. Llegó para el menú de los jueves, una muy buena selección para elegir. Los tres platos servidos a su debido tiempo y todos coincidimos en que era la mejor comida que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo. Volveré.
